Not that practical for longer road trips with many bags, for shorter drives a smaller cooler that‘s always accessible would be awesome. But you know your parents better than I do, I‘m sure they were thrilled! 👍🏼😄

Probably just a couple miles. Literally the slowest wall plug charger can get you 4miles an hour.. lvl 2 20-25 so I’m sure it’s not as serious as either of those..
idiots: that Tesla has a massive 75,000 watt hour battery, the equivalent of 75 Jackery 1000's.. the fridge compressor uses only 45 watts off and on. If you never drove the car, and never charged it while parked on a full charge, it could theoretically run the fridge compressor for over 1600 hours. That's assuming you don't bother to charge the Tesla for many many days. It's just math.
