Looks like a great addition. With the 12V connector it appears it could be used with a back up power supply like a Yeti or Anker outside of the Tesla . Handles make it easy to carry around.

A bit late to ask, but is it still working well for you, after a year of use? Also, did you ever see the fridge overheat, or struggle to keep the freezer temperature stable and low? Those little tabs probably provide very little ventilation room. Really cool if that is sufficient.

@@John101B The refrigerator still works great with no issue at all.
I have used it in 90F + heat on the road trip and had it on all day without overheating issue.

I'm curious how this works as a cooler. Like after it is cold, how long will it stay cold for when no longer plugged in. Does it have the same functionality as a cooler if you just throw some ice packs in?

I just picked up the Cherry refrigerator for the model Y, based on your recommendation. The fridge is great, but the manual is for the birds. So I started watching your video again, and I tried to scan the code on the front of the manual for the iPhone app, but it wouldn’t work and finally I found an app called Tesla Fridge app, which is different from the app you show in the video, but it works.

I need your help again. The refrigerator seems to be working fine, but even though the app that I download it works to a degree when I went out this morning, I had left it in Eco mode by the app. In the fridge was up to 54° and then while I was driving today the app doesn’t seem to control the refrigerator temperature very well I don’t think it’s the right app. Can you find it in the iPhone App Store and give me the name please

Won't be easy to make this work in the frunk due to lack of ventilation and during hot seasons, frunk heats far faster. Also, a lack of 12v power in the frunk. We travel and sleep in our Model Y quite a bit, and kinda figured out a way to keep the fridge all the time in the car. But as you said, we need to put some additional thought on what luggage to put where if we need access to the fridge.
