Sweet ride! I am currently working on a few Mods myself. I also have the 2009 Model and just recently put a little over 3K miles on it, its almost 5 years old and never seen the rain. The only mods I have done to mine is my New Yoshimura Exhaust system, High Performance air filter, Rosco Carbon Fiber mirrors with blue tented lens, Hand Grips and Pegs. That's about it for now, I really Dig the way you have totally changed your bikes appearance. Thanks for sharing your vid.
Nice dude! The light was actually pretty easy to do. Took about an hour or so without any confusing parts. It's an Aztec8 headlight that cost about $200. Well worth it in my opinion. Only slight adjustment that had to be made was the light's positioning (up or down) so you could fully move the bars to the left and right, no biggie. Thanks for the positive feedback about the mods!
Very beautiful bike! I love all the mods you 've made! Drive safe
Thanks! Will do.
Absolutely get the fuel management system. The juice box works well for me, but Power Commander will do as well.
Do you want performance or aesthetic mod suggestions?
Either way, I really recommend the lowered sport-bars setup.
That changes the riding position and makes the bike look more aggressive.
Thanks man!
They are hard to come by, but at least you know if you find one, you can make it your own =)
Nice, man. It's an Aztec8 7" headlight. It's a great headlight; solidly built. About $200. Best of luck with the project!
Made a down payment on my today.. picking it up monday!!! mucho excited
Nice! Ride safe, and enjoy.
Love the Two Bros exhaust. It has a deeper note than the Yoshi exhaust (I've heard both in person and through videos). It sort of depends what you're going for with the sound, though. I installed with the juice box pro as well, yep. It definitely works better with the juice box in terms of throttle response. Best of luck with your decision!
What a nice bike! I bet that would look nice with a headlight cowl / windscreen combo
It looks sweet mate, great shout on the matte black!
Thank you!
Thanks! What color is your Er-6n?
Sounds like you're off to a great start with the mods.
The bike totally has a different presence after changing the headlight and repainting. How do you like the sound of the Yoshi exhaust?
Beautiful bike man. Just the way I would style it. Unfortunately, i can't seem to find one used here in so. cal. I'd buy yours right away. Keep it up!
i have the same model bike and I love what you did to it. I wanna change the headlight too... is there a specific type that will fit the bike or any will do??
Exacly the same situation maybe i'll get an answer 4 years later XD
@@nobody-me4xn same😂
Yep, adding the Juice Box by Two Brothers. Works perfectly
Thanks, yea the sport bars work perfectly!
I'm just keeping the stock headlight in my garage, but maybe I should post it on craigslist or something and get some money for it?
No, actually everything went fairly smoothly with the install. That may have been due to the fact that I installed it with the Two Bros Juice Box.
Oh, and if you are interested, I have a video in this one's description of the two bros exhaust install and sound.
Cheers!
Targa Fender Eliminator Kit. I really like the minimalist design.
Thanks!
I agree about the plastic pieces, but the paint is a pretty cool color, so I don't mind the cheaper feel to them...for now.
Hey, it was my first bike, so I can definitely tell you it's a great start. The power is not frightening, but certainly enough to keep you interested for a good long time. Maintenance is cheap and you can alter the bike pretty easily if you want. I did a review a 1,000 miles into my ownership. Check it out in my video's description.
Hey man, I think you should be fine. I'm 6'0" and it fits me fine. Being tall is actually nice on this bike, because when you are stopped, you can put both feet down comfortably and you're totally stable. Cheers!
very nice, i might do the same thing to my 650r one day
Hey man, if that is a 7" aztec8 light, was wondering what fork tube size did you get ?
Thanks!
Hi,
Great modification. Just one quick question.
You didn't mention the removal of the plate holders (which looks pretty cool imho), including the turn signals on each side. How is that possible in the U.S?
Is it road legal over there?
Hi, the fender eliminator kit (stock plate holder and turn signals) includes a new, slimmer plate holder and thin LED turn signals. Those are what are on my bike now and are legal, yes.
Damn i love that bike, its exactly my style
Miles hey i see you put the sport bar on looks good. Bike looks awesome!!! So what are you doing with the stock alien looking head light?
Hey man love some of those mods! I've got the same blue on mine and have the two brothers m-2 black vale carbon exhaust on it, and I actually just cut the tail off to day till I can get the kit haha what's that light cost and was it pretty easy to do?
Ahhh nice one dude, been worrying about that =] Just out of curiosity, what sorta MPG you getting roughly?? The bikes looking lush btw.
Dude! awesome bike! i have the same one... do you know where i can see if this Aztec8 7" headlight is homologated for europe? Thanks!
I am looking into getting a Juice box or something, I may go for a Power Commander as well, still not sure just yet. so much I want to do. Any suggestions as far as getting more Power? again the only thing I have done is the Exhaust, had it tuned on the Dyno and High Flow air filter.
Hey,
Great bike, I just got the sport bars on my '10 er-6n but I had an issue with the brake lines. How did you fix that? them seem short and would not extend.
Thanks!!
Interesting. I actually didn't have any issues with the brake lines being too short for my bars. I actually found I had extra room, since I was lowering the bars instead of raising them. Sorry I can't help. That said, perhaps some people on Kawiforums.com can help.
Hey...I wanted to know how you like the two brothers exhaust on the er6n. I have the same bike and was deciding between two brothers/yosh..Also, do you have the juice box pro on the bike, runs better with the juice box pro?
Nice bike mate, can you let me know where you got the sports handlebars? it looks awesome with it on. I'm looking at ebay and there are so many to go through. Cheers mate
Thanks man!
Unfortunately, I don't know about where to find this headlight for the European market.
I would suggest just searching for the headlight manufacturer and "Europe", or checking some Kawasaki forums-they usually have solid advice.
Best of luck!
did you have to drill additional holes for the fender eliminator kit? And did you order it on ebay or somewhere else? what did the eliminator kit cost you?
Looks great!
Thanks man!
Averages 35-45mpg, depending on how you ride.
41mm. I think you'll really like the setup.
Hey I have the same bike, and was looking to add on the two brothers slip on. Did your FI light come on after install?
Hey man, have the same bike and just started a streetfighter project. Very curious about your headlight. What brand, good, bad, etc etc.
Looks much better 😈😈 meaner !!
Which was the fender eliminator kit used? Im looking to do the same on my 6n
Thanks, I agree!
hey nice bike i just bought an 07 650r and i want to do the same thing u have which i think looks way better than og plastic it brings i need some help i want to install that same gauge u hqve how i go about it thank u
Hey, congrats on the purchase. This was the stock gauge, I just removed the front cowling
did you have to adjust fueling when you installed the pipe?
nice bike man really well done. I'm fighting my R6 right now and the only thing I have left to do if figure out a way to mount the gauges and get a headlight. I'm trying really hard to find an affordable option for the headlight. I want a "cafe" style like yours. Hopefully I'll find a light that won't break my wallet haha.
-- ride safe man
Nice! That should be a really cool finished product. Check out Aztec8, where I got this headlight. I'm pretty sure it's universal, so it should fit on your R6 too with a bit of modification
did u use rustoleum black sandable primer? how is the quality? how does it stand weather, rain etc?
Yep, same primer. It has held up really well, actually. Did 3 coats and no fade so far.
Dude do you still have this bike? I have some questions!
I'm almost done with my street fighter build on my 650r. What kind of speedometer is that on yours?
Nice! That's just the stock Er-6n speedo.
Where did you get the headlight? I can't find them for sale anywhere.
Alright, sorry you keep getting stupid questions, but does your head lamp have a high/low? Basically I am trying to get a head light similar to that but wanted a good hi/lo. Also, did you do it yourself? I was hoping it would be an easy switch, only having to splice a couple of wires. Haha any info you have on that headlight would be greatly appreciated.
Not a stupid question at all.
Yes, this light has a good hi/low function. It has proved to be nice and bright. I did the swap myself and it took maybe 30 mins. Very easy process. See the comment I made below about the manufacturer of the light.
Where did u get your headlight and what kind of headlight is it? Also where did you order your ermax seat cowl from?
It's an Aztec8 7" black single headlight. It's a great headlight; solidly built. About $200.
Ordered the Ermax seat cowl from silverstone motor dot com. About $150 for the paint-matched part.
Cheers!
Hi, Which is the brand and model of the bars you've installed?? Thanks
i haave the same sportsbar but i lost the screw that holds it do u know the size of the bolts?the mounting bolts
Unfortunately, I don’t know the bolt size. My bike was wrecked by a drunk driver so i don’t have it anymore 😔
What rating are the stock bulbs? My bike came with the wrong bulbs.
Stock Er-6n? Not sure, sorry man. I use the bulbs that came with the Aztec8 headlight (H4 35W).
Hey bro can you provide a link to the headlight you bought for this thing?
Unfortunately, it looks like it isn't for sale anymore. It is the 7" Aztec8 single headlight
hey , what do u think about that moto as a first moto ever?
What exactly did you use for the headlight swap? I'm looking to do the same thing on my bike.
Aztec8 7-inch universal headlight
cool, any issues with the install/ regrets?
Nope! Love the look and it was easy to install
For the headlight, did you have to do any wiring, or did you just plug it in? I'm trying to convert my Ninja into a streetfighter, and need a new headlight.
It was really basic wiring (I'm no electrical pro), but there's probably a kit to make it even easier.
MilesPerHr Did you just look up a video on how to wire it? Or did you use an adapter?
If I recall (it's been about 7 years since I did this), the headlight came with wiring instructions.
MilesPerHr okay I will look more into it. Thank you for the info! Have a happy holidays!
Hey dude, i'm 6"1 and thinking about getting this bike - Just wondering how tall you are and how you feel on it, worried i may be a bit too tall.
Would this bike be worth 2500$ I have someone that is selling one that has 24k miles but it’s a 2007 one not 09 like yours do you think it’s worth for a first bike ?
That's pretty low mileage. If it's been well cared for, it might be worth it. Then again, I believe there were quite a few changes between '07 and '09 that make my bike more valuable. Perhaps negotiate to 2K?
I'm not sure but they look like aztec8's?
I actually purchased a windscreen for the bike and put it on, but it honestly
didn't look fitting for the streetfighter style.
where did you get these sportbars i cant find the anywhere. tried the clip ons but they are too low and hit the tank
thanks
I got them on ebay. There isn't a visible brand, so I can't say who manufactures them, but I just looked for my bike type and the keyword "sport bars" on ebay, and found a guy who wasn't going to use his. Good luck!
MilesPerHr Lucky you. No one sels them in UK.
Good looking bike by the way. love the matt finish. will do it on mine but instead will tryit with vinyl wrap
ateiwiz Oh that's a bummer. Thanks, and enjoy your bike!
Thanks pal
Why did u remove that install video for the 2brothers exhaust
It should still be on there.
th-cam.com/video/xzBez4yO8Q0/w-d-xo.html
how do i go about getting one of those headlights?
Check out the comments below. I mentioned the manufacturer, price, etc. Thanks for watching!
This looks fucking awesome.
Looks more like my SV650 now, It's blue too.
Good question. I bought them on Ebay from a guy and they are just branded as sport bars. I know some people have installed the version 2.0's from ninja650shop [dot] com but I personally didn't like those because they have a giant "Ninja" emblem in the middle of them. I'd recommend looking around on Ebay.
That's because I used my GoPro. Next time, I'll use a better camera.
where can I buy these bars? please someone tell me.
Hey, I bought them on Ebay. Unfortunately, they didn't have a brand name; they were just "sport bars for Kawasaki Er-6n"
found the link: ebay.com/itm/263049613917?_mwBanner=1
Unfortunately, it looks like they're temporarily sold out
I totally wish I could tell you who manufactured the sport bars. I bought them on ebay from someone but he didn't know the manufacturer. I know Ninja650 [dot] com shop has some sport bars, but I don't like the "ninja" plastered on the center. Just google ninja650shop sport bars to check em out.
Oh one more thing check it my video that I just posted " kawasaki er-6n front fender removal" something you could do to yours
What kind of handle-bars are those
Some generic Sport bars from Ebay. Search "sport bars" for Kawasaki Er-6N or Ninja 650.
m.ebay.com/itm/263049613917?_mwBanner=1 Looks like they're temporarily sold out :(
No additional drilling required.
I bought it off bikebandit[dot]com for $100 shipping included.
Thanks for watching!
COOL. Still can't stand the factory el cheapo plastic parts... like the ones surrounding the radiator. I would have to ditch those right away. Nice head light.
almost cafe racer style..nice bike
Thanks. I've always loved the Triumph Bonneville, so I built a few touches into this bike
Strange alien headlamp😂😂😂😂
Where did you get the seat cowl?
Ordered the Ermax seat cowl from silverstone motor dot com. About $150 for the paint-matched part. Thanks for watching!
Thanx! :)
that bike is moving 0.0
What's with the curved, jelly-like appearance of the video?
I don't liked u did a voucher job on it, no offense.keep it up
