  • In this video, we demonstrate the complex cnc machining process of a hockey stick demo part, machined from two separate pieces using advanced 5-axis technology for both roughing and finishing tasks. This project was made possible through our collaboration with RS Technologies, ‪@Grobgroup‬ and ‪@emugefrankentv‬.
    Watch how we leverage #hyperMILL's powerful CAD/CAM solutions to generate, optimize and simulate NC code, ensuring outstanding precision and efficiency. The machining was executed on a Grob G750 and G150, using Emuge-Franken cutting tools. Thanks to #hyperMILL's comprehensive machining strategies, we achieved significant time savings and excellent results.

    What toolpaths were used for the 5axis roughing cycles?

      Several strategies have been used here for roughing:
      5X Shape offset roughing, 5X swarf cutting, 5X rework machining and of course some 3D strategies as well.
