I loved Anthony Bourdain for so many reasons. But chief among them was how he so successfully taught people how to enjoy food from all over the world, in ways they never thought possible. In reality, he was one of the greatest goodwill ambassadeurs of all time. How many MILLIONS of people did he reach and effect during his brief lifetime?? His presence was so powerful and full of life, that I still cannot come to grips with the fact that he's gone. I'm just glad that we have his videos to remember him by. DAMN, I miss him :(

He knows Cooper by now (CNN compatriots and all) and his lack of cuisine interest, gets him to agree on a bit like they showed; and makes it great TV and a genuine “I’ll show you something that will raise your eyebrows in disgust, yet when it when it’s done you’ll thank me” moment. That’s AB in a nutshell, and kudos to Cooper for going outside his comfort zone and enjoying the moment...and the food!!

Only celebrity chef to understand Korean food at its core.
RIP Tony. My mom would have loved to cook Korean bbq for you..

Bourdain and Cooper need to do more shows together! It's entertaining to watch Cooper get squeamish about the food.

The silver fox meets the silver grey. Tony's vocab is just unreal. Right when I think I know what he's gonna say, he says "aspersions." Be honest, you had no idea what that meant until you googled it just now.

I was expecting him to say "bulgogi," was pleasantly surprised when he said army soup, my face perked up haha. Found a recipe for it in a Korean comic cookbook and it's one of my favorite/funnest dishes to make.
