    Anthony Bourdain has touched many lives across the world, including mine. It is extremely sad that he succumbed to his mental illness, so if you are in a very bad place and are contemplating suicide, please call1-800-273-TALK (8255) for help and support.
    Hopefully we can take the valuable lessons that Anthony Bourdain shared in this video, and try to enjoy the small things in life. Everyone is dealing with their own struggle, so try to spread positivity and happiness with others. God bless you all and I hope you have a fantastic day.

      Bourdain had no clinical mental illness. He is the product of the modern deracinated man; a nihilist. No structured family, Bourdain lived only for material wealth and fame. In the end, this lifestyle is empty and meaningless.
      Cosmopolitan socialites, like Bourdain, are the last people of which to take life advice.

      Thank you for your kind and nice comment and addressing his death considering this video is a positive and motivational one (and done REALLY well btw...I often refer to it when I am feeling discouraged, stuck or at odds with myself). Everyone likes to speculate but the truth is, as fans, we didnt know the man personally and what he was going through. Its hard with anthony because in a way we DO feel like we know him because he expressed and put so much of himself out there in his productions and books especially. His death is tragic and everyone should really scale back and stop speculating, believing that and opinions as fact, and do the best thing you can do in a situation like this which would be soak in all the positivity and inspiration he had offered up, and take something from the tragic circumstance itself and take some more time of your day to share positivity, check up on and get to know your loved ones better. Life is fleeting, we ALL have our time. Make it count and dont take things and your people for granted. Be AVAILABLE to and for them. Ppl put so much time and effort into their work and hobbies but often never put that much time and work into others. Lastly, just remember, every one is worth saving.

      being his heart broken by Asia Argento has nothing to do with mental illness. he has been open about his depression and had tried everything to overcome it. i believed that him knowing her cheating days prior his death had triggered his depression to the extend that he killed himself.

      @margaret gust, just add the prefix "dis" and suffix "ing" on your name, would show the kind of person you really are. this guy is an icon, had touched so many lives but you had done nothing in your life or someone else's lives.

Then, listening to Mr. Bourdain from time to time, and finding it. No one is perfect, but he may be one of the best examples of a perfect, imperfect soul. He had a voice with many ears to listen. I admire his honesty & gift to put what most think into words. I think I understand him. Our lives and loved ones are not to be taken for granted or used for bargaining. 11:11 - 12:05 Love how Bourdain points out that: (I'm partly quoting/part paraphrasing)
    There were guys that came out of Blues and R&B who turned out to be Jimi Hendrix! Pretty much riffing and improvising on classics, creating whole new wonderful worlds! If you're going to mess with classics, then improve on them, make them dazzle, even more pleasurable. I admire him so much. Love how he relates music to food and life. I echo what millions of others said: Anthony Bourdain will always be missed and loved. Maybe even more than he fathomed. RIP

    Anthony saw the real world. When you get out of your bubble and you are not ready for what you going to encounter is when depression comes. Plus the world that he was in didn't help. People that only want to be around you because you are famous. At the end he didn't trust anyone anymore. You need to be really really strong to FEEL ALIVE. Many of us still alive because we are fighting each day to keep going. Is not easy. And we are not depress or suicidal. Simple we see life different from you. Don't judge. Never judges someone that suicide. Before they took their life they fought a lot with them self and don't feel sorry either. They choose to end up these "called life" before you. Everyone have a choice. 🙈🙏😎

    I have attempted to meditate many times in my life and prior to this CD the only success I've experienced is with live guided meditation. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq This is the first CD I've used that cuts through my unmedicated ADHD and enables me to truly relax and experience a quiet and energizing interval. The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. I cannot adequately express how tremendously helpful this CD has been on my spiritual journey!! Two thumbs up and 10 stars!

    He's going around loads of good points about difficulties of self esteem, addiction and existencial questions about ego. A good amount of ego is life saving, it can be fun and is a basis to building a strong base of identity. As long as it's done with a good dose of introspection, self-mockery and taking things lightly. Cuz everything is ever changing right. All being serious matter of course. Peace all 🕊️

    May his soul rest in peace! A beautiful American, human being and a global citizen! A huge loss to the whole world. I have never cried for the death of someone I did not know or meet in my life, but I cried when he died! He was content, he had his family and daughter in specific that he adored. There was no reason for him to commit suicide! He was not mentally ill. I still do not believe he committed suicide, I think he was assassinated because of his high profile in the elite society, he knew things that were never supposed to be revealed!

    • @katherinehunter9526
      @katherinehunter9526 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I agree I don't believe that he committed suicide.
      I think he knew something about someone or got footage of something that was sensitive material to some country or "Group" who finished him off.
      For years I thought he had been doing the Food show for the EYES of some Government Agencies. Because he was able to get into really volatile areas with a camera crew.
      Under the guise of shooting a "Food Show" he had more access than any agency employee.
      Plus he did have problems with the IRS and Drug enforcement agency and they can be very persuasive when they NEED your help!
      So today would have been Anthony's 64 Birthday and I'm here wishing my Brother Fire Monkey were still alive to Wish him a happy and long life.
      Instead I'm wondering what Agency took him down and what or who for.
      Epstein mysteriously hung himself too. Wonder what he knew that might have come out?
      Someone has "A Firm" grip on lips that could sink ships, nothing like keeping a Stiff Upper Lip when thing's get thick, Eh!
      Rest in Peace Anthony Bourdain some day the Truth will come out and your reputation will be shining.
      ✌❤🙏

    • @TheDom1961
      @TheDom1961 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The problem with depression is that for many it is well hidden. Nobody killed Anthony. He took his own life because he could not go on with this life. His past heavy drug use could of unbalanced his brain chemistry. Sometimes mental illness does not show its true colours.i think he kept it well hidden. Just because he had fame, money, etc meant that he was “content” in his life. Many people who commit suicide are always surrounded by family and friends who love them. The only way for them to subdue their pain is to end their pain. we will never really know why they do this to themselves.

      Doner Kebab. I agree. We saw what the cameras showed us. He must have had some things in his life that had him feeling as if he failed. I wish people would talk to their loved ones if they feel that way. And if their loved ones see signs of it, to reach out to them. It's love and touching the lives of others that is important. I HATE to see someone feeling such self loathing, and narcissism isn't any better. BUT...feeling good about your accomplishments and having self worth is not bad. It's good. It's necessary. There is such a big difference in knowing your worth as a human being and thinking that the world owes you. I didnt get the feeling he was vain or narcisstic from his shows. I just saw an intelligent confident man on TV.
      Sometimes there are obstacles and walls that we can't reach people who need to be reached. Those need removal. I am all about it if I know someone needs help.
