The last scene with a healthy, grown Godzilla Junior is I think the best ending scene ever. I like to think he's roaring to tell his dad he'll make him proud. That's why for me, Jr is the Godzilla in Final Wars, cause he does make Big G proud.
I’m not a fan of that head canon whatsoever. Rather him be Gemstone Goji especially with all the abilities he most likely gained from absorbing the big G’s energy.
If you want some interesting behind the scenes information, the Godzilla jr miniature animatronic and Destoroyah animatronic was stolen and never recovered during production of the film. I don't really know why people don't know more about it since literally the stolen suit is the only thing people talk about in Godzilla vs Mothra 1992.
In fact, there's actually a scene in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II where Aoki (Masahiro) speaks briefly with Chief Hosono (Tadao) alongside Miki. So there's a nice father-and-son moment there!
Honestly, Destroyah Had the look of a final boss but didn’t win any of his fights, to me space Godzilla was a better final boss. He won his first one on one with Godzilla and in the end of that movie Morgera and Godzilla almost lost
I felt that Space Godzilla had so much potential to be devastating to Godzilla but we didn't get that. That installment wasn't that good. That said, I'm hoping that Space Godzilla is picked up by Legendary. I think they'll give him the treatment he needs.
well you have to consider the context. Basically Destoroyah fought Godzilla when his internal power was being released the longer he fought. And even with Godzilla's most powerful attacks Destoroyah was barely affected at the end of it. Basically if any other monster was there they would have been defeated after one or two blasts of Godzilla's atomic breath. This is also the same reason why people think Moguera is weaker than MechaGodzilla despite that not being the case.
@@shauncombs603 yeah hopefully they use them in legendary .yeah space Godzilla and Destroyah were replacements for super Godzilla and Bagan. I can see why they scrapped Bagan his design didn’t really make any sense . Destroyah was supposed to have more ab abilities like a chest beam I think a couple other things .
@@christopherboucher287 Oh man, Super Godzilla. That brings back memories. Even though it was deemed a lackluster game, I loved that SNES game and played it for hours, every day I had rented it. It did have a wonky battle system but it was still quite manageable. Agreed, Bagan's design was quite wild, as was Godzilla's "Super" form.
@@shauncombs603 I personally think SpaceGodzilla was better than a lot of the other Godzilla films such as Godzilla vs Biollante, King ghidorah, and Mothra. Also I would say SpaceGodzilla was a very good enemy for Godzilla in the film and I think he was done very well. Think about it, monsters like Biollante are said to be one of the best, yet the film builds up to their final fight just for Biollante to be destroyed easier than the first time. With Godzilla not even having any physical combat in the film due to Biollante being so weak. So I think SpaceGodzilla was an incredibly creative monster that overpowered Godzilla more than any previous monster.

Godzilla vs Destoroyah was an awesome film.
Highly agree
Oh yes, it had an amazing opening and the final battle was so good.

Im late to the party great podcast, thank you
Thank you so much,
We really appreciate the feedback to help us continue to try and get better!
Fun Fact: Masahiro and Masanobu Takasima are the sons of Tadao Takashima from King Kong vs. Godzilla and Son of Godzilla!
