I've always been fascinated by Makita tools! Judging by your vids, it looks like technical innovations reach Japanese domestic market somewhat earlier than the rest of the world) Many thanks for your educative reviews!!
The Ingersoll Rand 114GQC Air Hammer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS was just the tool I needed. I Use it to remove stuck bolts. If held at the right angle you can cut slightly into the bolt. Then turn the air hammer to where it will hammer the stuck bolt to unspin the bolt. Given a little practice it works great. This air hammer gives you the control needed to get the job done right. Very powerful yet still does not seem to have as much vibration as other guns I have used. One of the best I have gotten my hands on.
@@gear_show i'm guessing everyone want you to caption that also, looks like the drill was taken care of with it's previous owner. must've been a breeze to work on.
Love the pure silence with no voice commentary it comes across as so soothing! So hard to do I imagine as you can always be tempted to doing a voice over!! Thumbs up for the knowledge and courage putting your work on TH-cam!

Hello I’m a Japanese let me translate it for you it’s not a date that is the address of Makita Company It says Aichi -ken Anjou -shi Sumiyoshi -cho 3 - 11 - 8 hope this helps you understand and I’m one of your fans. Keep up the good work.
Charging failure is usually due to under-voltage. Use a not-so-smart charger to pre-charge the 'dead' battery for 5-10min. It should be chargeable with the drill charger after that.
This one is quite a bit of engineering. They made it so compact and powerful at the same time - beauty. Also flying bearing :D Your videos are very fun to watch! Keep going!
Hi, can I suggest you do a video, showing all the different parts you use (spot welder, stickers, PCB's etc.) and where you get them from. I think you would get a fantastic response. Great videos, you've got me hooked.
The one thing that annoyed me about that era's chargers, more than anything else, was the ungodly loud noisy fan, for the price we had to fork, they couldn't install a cheap silent or more silent fan.
Love your videos but please do not skip plastic cleaning, battery making, also no plastic sleeve on the battery this time. I love all those! The details are very.important
Glad you finally got the ultrasonic cleaner. Im so jealous. I can purchase mine from china just yet due to the pandemic the import and transport fees is costing more than the actual product 🙄. Any way good vid
@gear_show connect that white wire (which you've cut at the beginning) through a resistance to the positive terminal with such a nominal, so the voltage shows exactly half of the battery voltage. And the original charger will recognise it 😉
How can you charge up the lithium ion battery with the original Mh charger without an overheating problem as the charger is not designed to charge li-on batteries.
Thats why he installed the BMS battery managdement system board on the cells. If u sae the video part u see a control board he added tonit. It controlls the overcharge also the ballance of cells. Without it the pack would explode

21 minutes of pure gold, didnt even realize he time passing
The amazing thing is just dumping everything in a cleaner and still getting it back together.

Very nice to video
I wish he had filmed the entire disassembly so that he could replay it….;)
I'm glad you didn't have to replace any parts, but I did miss seeing the new bearings slide out of their packages!
I keep all original bearings. They are in good condition.
