You video helped me troubleshoot why i couldn't get the plane to turn on. I just waited over 45mins on the phone for Horizon Hobby customer care. Your video is the only one that explains that you need to turn the transmitter on first and then plug in the battery for the plane. Thank you!
I know this is a few years old video but i was wondering what the range is with that transmitter? My wife bought me the umx radian 28 inch wing span but it comes with no transmitter , olny bind and fly. The problem is i have flysky transmitters for my bigger planes but i do have the duet and the umx night vapor both with transmitters that came with them. I was wanting to use the transmitter from the duet or night vapor to bind to the umx radian but i dont know the range of the transmitters . I cant buy a spectrum 6e transmitter for a few months and really want to try the little radian now. Any help would be appreciated, thankyou.
The range is hard to establish for sure with various models. Best approach is have a helper walk away withe the model, and see how the controls work. If it is at a good distance on the ground, will likely be a bit more range in the air. Tim
Had one, regret selling it. The bird is awesome, only issue is the nose of the bird, it should be plastic because the nose is where all birds smack in from beginner mistakes.
Is the throttle on that transmitter the spring loaded type where you have to hold it to maintain constant throttle, or does it stay where you put it during operation?
I had this plane and it was a piece of junk on it's first flight the wing fell of mid flight in 3 mph wind and then I put it back on and put tape on it and the motherboard caught on fire this plane didn't even last a flight.

Sorry, but not sure what manual mode means? Tim
whitout asistance, whitout virtual instructor.Only my fingers order the plane's inclination in turns.@@TimMcKay56
Your servo sounds like mine. It sounds like the little gears are stripped but they work just fine.
NP: I'll keep an eye on this. Tim
@@TimMcKay56 I was worried when it got delivered that I got a bad servo but I think it’s just the way the servo sounds.
👍🏻 Tim
Mine also sounds like that too but I haven’t had any problems yet. I think they just come that way
@@citabria4804 yeah that’s what I’m thinking. Still flying and not a problem at all.
