Great review. I gambled and ordered a set on day of release. Nice to have a UK reviewer who knows what they are talking about reviewing chifi. Keep up the good work, its much appreciated 👏
My most bassy IEMs are my Final Audios, they are tiny and kind of basic but they have a warm bassy sound that isn't overpowering. I believe that has a tiny dynamic driver. I've been mulling over a set of Thieaudio IEMS but I have difficulty making my mind up. Not seen this channel before, I could listen to your voice for ages.
Out of 30 reviewers on headfirst, they all agree lz a7 are untouchable, till getting very close to monarch and um mest, I'm shocked at the price of 285, some prefer them over planes, amazing, and I know you feel the same, it's like dacs and amps they also have a sweet spot, no need to go crazy, once you pass the sweet spot, its vanity, unless your rich so it's nothing, we can enjoy the same as high paying customers for so much less,
In the past I bought triplefi 10, sony a3, sony z5, sony z7, ex800, 7550,im50, im70, flc8s, macaw gt, vmoda m100,beyerxynamic dt 770, demon AH600, SONY MA900, BEYERDYNAMIC CUSTOM ONE PRO, MASSDROP thx 00 V pulse I forgot the company I know they made the best home subwoofers, and also dacs amps from fiio and cowin plenue d,fiio x5, mont blanc, and bluetooth adapters from mpow ,now we have qudelix, fiio but, and so many daps and players that also do two way. Bluetooth, it's amazing, but all that stuff I have is still comparable today, but a few pieces for fun, and I really need no more, I wanna try the shoure s12, better build and better price than the timeless, oh yea ,better fit,
I was thinking, the s12, mele ,blon 03, tri i3, focus edm, fd3 pro, tin t3plus, maybe I can use them like tws for the gym with bluetooth over ear hooks,
Good day while watching your video you stated the cable is good. I am currently looking to purchase new cables and would like your opinion on the great cables currently available for purchase.
Great video mate. but some pointers, when you speak about the gear you do ramble quite a lot. Your review is on point but you do circle around a point lot. That's the only criticism I have got for you; if you keep the video under 10-15 minutes and be concise your videos will be even better. Also, try using chapters in youtube like time for unboxing, time for physical overview and time for sound review and your conclusion and in the description list the songs you tested out so that it will help others. (I hope you don't feel sad, just thought you should know :) ) Also, do you have fh3 or the nicehck nx7 mk3 or the nm2+ or any other iem which you can compare to these? The L4 looks awesome but would love to know If there are any other competitors which are better sounding than it.
No offense taken at all. As someone who is very new to making videos and speaking on camera, this is the sort of comment that will really help move the channel forward in the future :) Very good points that will be taken on board. Mangrid Tea and FH3 are really solid competitors. but for the price, these have really impressed me. Mostly down to its tuning, it's just a very competent all-rounder that does a lot right and very little wrong for the money. In that ballpark, though I still prefer the Tin P1 over all of them for my personal use. Those require a suitable source which is an added expense many may not have and I like the design and body of the L4 by far. Basically, trade-offs but hard to complain when there are so many good earphones like these.
@@AudioLevels thanks for understanding. Ya I did have a gander at the p1 I didn't like them. I had a proper source too. A bit to peaky for me. Btw do you have any discord or telegram I can contact you over ? (Just wanted to ask some questions about audio stuff)
My Shure E2C turned green back in the day. I'm concerned about the longevity of my IEMs also. I'm debating using some dielectric grease on my L4 but I'm worried the connection will get too slippery. Any thoughts? Maybe a shot of deoxit would be good at prevention?
Recently got from Linsoul Mangird Tea IEM which I find an excellent VALUE, and currently waiting for DUNU DK2001. Do you think this is worth to get as well?? I mean in pure terms of sonic capabilities and imaging/stage (provided that you have heard the above mentioned iems) would you say that the L4 have something different or more to offer?? Thanks for reading.....
I Will do that, they are definitely on the same level. The tea slightly more refined but much more expensive and better cable. Good shout for a head to head.

Did you get your set?
@@johnpeterson99 Yes, very happy with them. They've had me re-listening to my library to see what I've been missing !

Final e3000? one of my all-time favorite budget iems
Pipe looks to small for my deep ear canal . I like the tips to stick inside my ear canal instead of the edge. Gym and sweat always pops out

Overall sound difference between L4 and L5?
I saw both L4 and L5, do you like or think L4 is better than L5.

Which one is better to buy thieaudio l4 or l5
How do this compare to the JVC HA-FDX1 what I'm looking for most is comfort in this 200 dollar price range
Thieaudio L4 VS Fiio FH3?
I want to know as well
Sameeee
Excellent video, very helpfull. Nice job!
So do you think the tin P1 will sound better out of my THX 789 amplifier than these will?
Yes!
@@AudioLevels would you choose the p1 over the fiio fh3?
@@theodorezurla496 Yes. I think the P1 sounds magnitudes above its price. Build, style etc could be improved.
What do you think about that xduoo Bluetooth thing?
Im loving it, a really useful little unit. very neutral sounding and plenty of power for iems.
Can you compare to Lz A7?
A7 are a definitely a big step up - More versatile as well. but each are a bargain at their respective price points.
Fh3 or l4???
Are these better than the meze rai solo?
I think so, im not a huge fan of the Meze IEM's
And how does this compare to kinera freya
Will you review the KBear Belief?
if i get a chance.
How would you eq the l5 to make it sound like the l4, just got my l5 last week
Buy an l4 instead.

Seriously, you have not heard a difference with cables on iems? Must not be trying the right ones.
Nope, not unless there was an impedance variance intoduced.
@@AudioLevels running p1 balanced 2.5 on btr5 was a game changer to unlock that iem for me
@@hpwrotethis Balanced yes, but material for me no. Good point :)
@Has Goodles this
I can’t tell a difference between cables either.
