But when I cancel the log recording (pressing A button for 5 seconds until I get LOG OFF message) the app still shows that log recording is active. Only 12 hours later it stops automatically as is written in the manual. So I get two entries of recorded logs in the app. The correct one that I stopped myself and the one that stopped automatically after 12 hours. Why is this?

Do I need to have a phone on me and, if so, do I need to stay connected to the App?
