I tried this on my Series 6. Not only is the battery life better but the OS seems snapier and less laggy like it was when I first bought it. So thanks!
This seems to have worked for me. My ultra was suddenly below 10% 2 days in a row around 7pm or so. Very odd. My battery capacity indicates 99%. Removed the watch and added it back as new. It’s almost 7pm, just checked my battery, 83% remains. That’s normal for my Ultra. Thanks for the tips(s).
Just a reminder. If you have AppleCare+ on your watch, and battery drops below 80% (shows service recommended) you’ll get a full unit replacement FREE of charge. No battery or other part replacements on the watch. Without AC+ You’ll get full unit for battery rate. 👍
@A.H_610 If you have AppleCare+ and it is less than 80% battery the replacement should be free. Same goes if it happens in the first year. If you don’t and it’s after the first year of ownership. It looks like it now cost $99 to “replace the battery” in quotes cause they will really be sending you a new refurbished unit.
My Apple Watch Series 7 is draining more than usual. I will definitely do this method to get better battery until I upgrade my watch later this year for Apple Watch X
@@TheAppleBias agreed. I don’t like setting up as a new watch for that reason. But like you said, if it’s a software issue causing battery drain restoring from a backup just puts the corrupt software right back on the watch.
Yeahs it's a pain, but when it can give you back your battery it's worth it. I go through betas all the time and those seem to have the drains more than the public releases, so I probably go through this process at least 2-3 times a year.
Awesome video mate. That’s exactly what I ended up doing when I was on 10.2 on my Ultra 2. Setting up as a new watch totally fixed it for me. Thankfully 10.3 doesn’t have these battery drain issues for me anymore.
Pls house recently my ultra 2 battery charges to 100 in just 5 -10 mins and drains up equally as fast. I hve tried deferent charger heads all to no avail. Hi! I did it many times but the problem still going, my ultra lasts 1 day and half now instead of 2 days and 3 nights with watchOS9… may be the problem on the iPhone backup that makes the communication between watch and iPhone problematic? Because I have the same backup on the iPhone since 5-6 years and I think that my iPhone needs a refresh. I should set it as new but I have everything set up perfectly 😢
@@TheAppleBias exactly. It started with watchOS 10 and when I went to the Apple Store they told me to wait the actual update and to restore it to try to fix the problem cause they saw a strange battery drain and they advised me to not send the watch to the factory just for a waste of time because the battery has no problems and they would send it back as the same
@simonemannarelli6838 yeah I feel the phone would be less likely the issue. But in your case it’s def looking that way. It’d be a pain but could be worth is in the end. Usually I take screenshots of my app pages to get them back in order. You could also attempt (if you haven’t already) resetting it to a backup (the phone) first to just check. Always wait a day or 2 for syncing to happen before you rule out it not working.
@@TheAppleBias It is my last chance to solve the problem , I will try it but not now because I need my phone as it is for holidays in USA next month so I don’t want any type of problems with passwords, bank stuff etc etc. you gave me the energy to do that man, I need it😂. Thanks a bunch!
@simonemannarelli6838 oh yeah never do it when you need you phone especially since it’s not a super annoying problem. 1.5 days is still useable with an Apple Watch. Annoying I’m sure compared to what you had but def still useable.
Was there any news about the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 will they be able to have them in Apple again and will the other stores like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or Amazon have them in stock?
From what I read this morning it sounds like Apple will have to disable the blood oxygen sensor to keep the series 9 and ultra in the stores. I’ll probably have a video on it tomorrow as more info should drop today.
Not sure if it was this video that helped or me switching chargers. After the unpairing, I realized I was still using a charger with a usb a port the end. One of the original ones from the first Apple Watch. I switched to one with a usb c port and now it charges. Could have been the charger and the unpairing. 🤷♂️
That and some more cow bell. 😂 I have a bad talking with my hands problem. Always been that way and just can’t help it I try to minimize it but then I get going and they get going. 😂
This unfortunately did not fix my problem. My battery life is going down a percentage every like 2 to 3 minutes. When I go into the settings on the watch, it shows that the battery life on the actual watch is 95% so there’s no reason it should be doing this. It started doing this when I updated my watch to the 10.5 update
I just bought a brand new Apple Watch Ultra 2 and my battery lasts total 5 hours without using it I’ve tried this and nothing. Could it be an actual hardware issue?? I had them run diagnostic and they couldn’t see anything?? Help
So Apple didn’t fine anything from the diagnostic? You could try unpairing it again then resetting the iPhone restore it from backup and then repair the watch. Could be something with the way the iPhone is requesting to sync with the watch that’s causing the issue.
@@TheAppleBias so Ilast night I wore it all night it died within 4 hours from 100 percent however I left it home to recharge while I was at work today I had my dad run over to my house he said he used it for an hour it stayed at 100 percent then I got home 5 hours later it was at 96 I’ve now used it for about 4 hours and it’s only dropped 4 percent even after working out! Another way to save a watch face is to open it for editing in the Watch app on the iPhone, and use the Share button to save it to Files.
Yes. Probably the easier method but the way I did it does allow you to readd it from the watch as well if you wanted too.
Where you find the first face for your watch, beginning of the video ?
