the choreography still isn’t on the level of the prequels but this is definitely a major improvement compared to ahsoka and the sequels, i actually kinda enjoyed the fight here. but the acting is really bland, especially the jedi master dude from squid games. his line delivery is not great which is odd since he was pretty good in squid games
apparently he learned english for the role, I imagine he might even be saying some lines but not really understanding what hes saying. I'd imagine that makes it tough.
I mean, I’m willing to cut him some slack since he’s not a native English speaker. In fact he apparently only just started learning it when filming for this series. It’s a lot harder I’d say to convincingly deliver your lines in a relatively new and unfamiliar language than in your own.
Is this even immediately comparable to the prequels? We haven't seen the major lightsaber duels in this show yet. So far, it's just hand to hand combat, which the prequels weren't big on.

@-sidjfd sw dialogues being awkward? Have you watched the prequels? It's kinda logical that the episodes focus on introducing the plot world and characters are not gonna be full of intense memorable deep dialogue, not even Andor started like that. @@mattusapparatus5968 Dude if you willing sell your everything to a mega corporation for 4 Billion dollars. Yes, that's how the force works now. Disney controls and owns the canon.
Well, this asian dude was not bad...but the rest of the show was ...ouch....
The action could've been great, it's the choreography that made it trash. Even bad physical acting could be supplemented by good choreography. This was basic action, but C-Tier camera choices. Maybe bad director, deep down.
what the eff is kung-fu doing in SW.
It's cool, though. Chill.
Kung fu is literally the closest thing to what the force is like.
This is what inclusion in hiring directors gets you.
God, this was so lame.
the choreography still isn’t on the level of the prequels but this is definitely a major improvement compared to ahsoka and the sequels, i actually kinda enjoyed the fight here. but the acting is really bland, especially the jedi master dude from squid games. his line delivery is not great which is odd since he was pretty good in squid games
apparently he learned english for the role, I imagine he might even be saying some lines but not really understanding what hes saying.
He is one of the best things in Disney Canon
Is this even immediately comparable to the prequels? We haven't seen the major lightsaber duels in this show yet. So far, it's just hand to hand combat, which the prequels weren't big on.
We haven’t even seen a lightsaber duel yet and this is by far better than the h2h choreo in the prequels, if you can even call it that…

CW Star Wars.... LOL
The only thing that shocks me if that a man won against a woman in Disney star wars
He'll get humiliated eventually
I have to credit another comment for this observation, but yeah, I think she’s lost (so far) every time she’s fought a man.
• Torbin (without resorting to the poison; heck, Torbin wasn’t even technically fighting)
• Sol (obviously, right here)
• Maybe even Kelnacca in today’s episode…..?
Jedi master didn't even won she escaped using a ninja magic trick. While they had her cornered too.
Woke Disney
Dialogue is teenage fan fiction, fight scenes are C-grade wushu
You are not okay man, tf are you complaining about?
@@GonzaloAhumadaCastro-jr5sjAre you okay, Gonzalo? Are you deaf and blind and need to an optometrist and audiologist?
Dialogue, the most famed parts of star wars
@-sidjfd two episodes, introduction, establishing the plot and characters, the dialogue is obviously not gonna be top tier when the focus is on presenting the world and plot
@-sidjfd sw dialogues being awkward? Have you watched the prequels?
It's kinda logical that the episodes focus on introducing the plot world and characters are not gonna be full of intense memorable deep dialogue, not even Andor started like that.
Also, that's kinda tour subjective opinion, the interactions between Yord and Jecki are hilarious, at least to me of course
