I've been looking forward to this vlog and it did not disappoint. I imagine Luna would stay on the slide alllllllll day and I would lounge around the river, those mangroves, ahhh bliss! Well done for jumping the 'cliff of courage' and top tip about the water shoes, ill pop them on our 'to do' list. Great video guys, muchas gracias :)

Hello friends 🤗🤗 Ah, we're so glad you enjoyed this one 🙌 haha, that slide was super fun - we forgot to mention, but apparently the blue slide is the 'slow slide' and the white is the 'fast slide' 🫣☺️ Oh yaaa, floating down the river is such a chill vibe - you won't want to leave 😅🙌🤩🙏 Haha, the cliff of courage is definitely a must-do, especially if Luna is an adrenalin junkie 🥹😅🫣 You're welcome - they're definitely not the most flattering footwear, but super practical for entire stay in this region 🙌🇲🇽🌴💦 Thank you for always leaving the sweetest comments on our videos 🥹🤗

Both of them are very good, Xel-ha is more water based activities and Xplor is partial water activities, and adrenaline pack because of the ziplines 🤗.
At Xel-ha the only area where is prohibited the use of action cameras or phones it's at the water slide, other than than you can use it everywhere 🤩.

At one point did you start paddling with your hat? Ziplining in the water? How fun! We love marimbas now! We have been to 2 shows here in Guate. Jumping off cliffs? Simone, you're a mad lad! Yeah, we really like that initiative from the park to protect the enviorment, even though we saw a lot of people using their own NO ECO PARK FRIENDLY sunscreen, but at least the park does its part to create consciousness. No, well I cannot remember if we use it as a paddle 😂😂. Did you guys see the show in a theatre or at the streets? Simone is brave, one time at Universal she convinced me to go into a roller coaster I thought was the end of Geovanny that day 🤭🤭.

Yes, there are actually lockers available at no cost for Xel-ha. You will be granted a locker depending on your belongings they have small and medium size lockers, and there are assigned places for lockers so in case you want to drop off some stuff you will have to get back to the starting point 🤭. Towels are also included so you do not have to worry about bringing a towel. Snorkel gear is also included, and they're properly sanitized.

We hated this park, 80% of the activities you have to pay for. We were staying in Hotel Xcaret Arte which gives you unlimited access to Xcaret Park (Xavage, Xcaret, Xel Ha, Xplor & Xplor Fuego, Xenotes) and we did all of them aside from Xenotes and the park we hated the most was Xel Ha. The food was ok, but compared to the food at our resort, it was way worse and so was the alcohol. Also, we were expecting more activities to be included but there's only a handful like snorkeling, the water slide, the river and underground rivers. Aside from that, everything you have to pay extra which is outrageous. For us, access to the park was included, but thinking that some people pay 120$+ USD and then on top of that they have to pay extra is crazy. 120$+ USD is litteraly the price of a day at a six flag theme park + a day at a water park with food included, and then you'd have to pay extra to do any activity that are actually worthwhile.
Having been to Xavage, that costs about the same price (130$ USD), you can do Jet boat, ATV, Zip-line, Rafting, etc. which are all extraordinary activities and they don't cost extra. Same thing for Xplor where you do zip-line, ATV, soon there will be a tobogan with tube, and none of that costs extra.
The only thing that gives Xel Ha the edge compared to these parks is the possibility to do snorkeling & the fact that it is all-you-can-drink.

Oh yeah, they'll love it 🤩🤩, there is a part that is made exclusively for kids, we did not show it in the video but looks so nice. We believe so, because when having a full on breaky next thing you want to do is just rest and sleep 🤭 so a lighter breakfast we think is better just to get some energy for the swimming, and later a larger lunch. Hehehehe, we just went there last Tuesday, it was our second time. We also had breakfast and lunch, at the blue&yellow cafe. The tower is too scary, no, thank you🤣. And the bridge is very shaky🤣😂. Beware! 😭We found a nice place for swimming close to the Mexican cafe, where they do scuba diving. There's a shallow spot, great for kids and you can see plenty of fish there.

      Hola Malcom 👋👋
Amazing, this are great news amigo. If we could recommend, we would say both parks 🤭🤭, but depends, if it is your first time coming to Mexico and you do not know anything about the culture, traditions, etc, for sure Xcaret, the night show is just incredible and on top of that it's an all day park, so you will be arriving since 8am and if you stay until the show you might be leaving the park around 11 pm, on the other hand if you want to relax, eat all day, this #Xelhá is the right place.

    • @ForTheRoadTravels
      @ForTheRoadTravels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Both parks are incredible and if we were to asks us what parks to visit all of the Xcaret umbrella would be both you mentioned. In regards of the hotel, all depends on what are you looking for and your budget. Personally if you are planning to be outside of the hotel exploring the city or doing some activities; an all inclusive is not the option unless you'd like to book an All-Inclusive just to relax for a few days. 🥰. In regards of transportation there is a company who provides airport-hotel transportation we can recommend and we will leave their socials in the next comment.

Hi! Have you stayed at Hotel Xcaret and gone to any of the included parks that require reservations? From the information that I have found it seems like you have to come back to the hotel at the end of the day when the park closes but, I am wondering if you can come back to the hotel at any time? For instance, Xel-Ha is from 8:30 to 6. Because it is reservation am I required to come back at 6? I would like to be able to come back earlier. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

      "Hello JE 🙌,
Unfortunately, we have not had the opportunity to visit the hotel that we are dying to see 🫢🫢. It appears that the hotel reserves the pickup and return of all guests from the Xcaret hotel at a specific time. However, you can make your own way back by taking one of the buses from the parking lot at Xel-ha or one of the minivans that run up and down the highway, and then get off at the Xcaret stop. You will need to wait for the Xcaret buses that drop off guests at Xcaret, Xenses, and Xcaret Hotel.
We apologize for not being able to provide more detailed information, but we suggest that you check out the Xcaret Reddit page ( www.reddit.com/r/Xcaret/ ). People often ask very specific questions about the hotel, so they might be able to give you a better answer. 🙏🫶

That's correct the Mexican government has made optional the use of face masks in close places as well as in open areas. The park as well is under the same regulation. Are you planning to visit the region soon &/or spend the day at Xel-ha park?

I was here a year and a half ago and it was awesome! A tip goes a long way also lol We tipped the bartender well the first drink, and after that each time we went to get a refill the bartender recognized us and called us to the front....even double fisted us a couple times. I think is a great way to get better service everywhere 🫢. All the times we got to these parks (Xcaret Umbrella) we really think that the food is great considering that is mass produced (buffet) but probably in high season quality is "compromised" 🫢 not sure. Thank you very much for watching and for sharing your honest opinion, we kind of disagree with the food as we think comparing with other buffet options in the area, their food is good. In regards with the beverage we’d say rather than watered down cocktails the spirits that they use are not of a good quality at least in our opinion, it’s a nice place to spend a sunny day, and yes, it may be a bit pricey for us as well.
