I thought I’d hate the Yoke when I took delivery of my model X, I was wrong I adore my Yoke and dislike the wheel in our Y. I find the Yoke way better than a wheel.

This is why I will wait another year before I purchase a Cybertruck. Let them work out all the kinks first. Tesla said my delivery date should be late 2024 or early 2025.

Having to supercharge often with CT on road trip shows why efficiency is so important in an EV. Most other OEM's just add a bunch more batteries but that means it will take longer to charge.
No it doesn't. Having all those extra batteries means it'll charge faster for longer.
Wouldnt that mean more chance of getting home at end of the day and able to recharge at lower cost overnight?

Not so much if you live in the connecting counties of Utah, Salt lake, or weber counties which is about 100 mile stretch along I-15. Which has connecting or closely connecting cities all along the route. Growing up there I felt close to everything I needed there. But if you lived outside those three counties you would be right. Now Living in south I feel it's a road trip everywhere I go from here

Someone on Ebay motors is trying to sell a Foundation Cybertruck reservation for $1950, to jump the wait line. People were trying to get over $8000. for this in Dec.

Well I saw a video of a Bugatti appraisal at carmax and they offered like 150k less than it was worth, so….
The tires maybe a significant range hit. Look how much just changing wheel size makes on the other Teslas.
Yeah. Imagine a Cybertruck with 19" Martian Wheels and some low rolling resistance All Season tires made for EVs.

If you want to sleep in your Cybertruck, you'd probably want to get a good camper shell to go on the back of it.
I cx'ed my reservation, day two reservation, due to the fact I need a road tripper. The CT is not able to meet my needs. As a shareholder I am pissed. My plan "B" is a Juniper Model Y. An excellent road tripper.
towing and range are the biggest concerns I have as a replacement for my tundra as I have a 1970 28' streamline camper
Towing is the biggest achilles heel with EVs. Right now there is not a legitimate counter argument to support getting an EV to use for towing sometimes.
If you need to tow more than 80mi, I would wait until V4s are widely available.
I’ll hold off on my #20,000 reservation until its range improves…I also have a #360,000 as well..maybe then it’ll be ready…

For those who don't know, a truck is less fuel efficient than a car. Thinking that this is a criticism is not understanding that a truck is not a car.

Nissan has had steer by wire since 2013, I don’t understand why it’s become such a big deal with this thing.
T is the fastest depreciating asset that I have ever owned. 😂😅😂 But I'm happy with them because everyone can drive a T nowadays. That's Elon Musk's goal to sustainable affordable transportation for the future 😅😅😅❤
So real price is 79k now carmax offerd 72 is great price. Don't forget carmax and carvana are stuck with tons of model Y and 3. Used ev price took nose dive in last 6 months. You giys nailed it once hype is gone it is just another car.

Dude, drive a diesel 150 or 250 then drive the Cybertruck.
You can then compare a ICE to CT.
There is simply not enough driving data is why no autopilot. Plenty of room to sleep one in bak with seats up

the first few will go for more.. the next few years they will tank just like the now plaid model S. A lot has to do with how tesla themselves cut the prices. do I think it is only worth 76k. I think they went low cause they didn't have much data to go on or they seen what the lightning/rivians were going for. I think they could easily buy it for 93k to 98k and then will sell it for 109k to 115k or just go to auction and see how high it could go.

So the biggest complaint about the wheel, is it makes it so you can’t break the law?odd complaint.
I have never bought a car, that sleeping in it was part of my decision. But each to their own.
When Tesla introduces 4-wheel steer by wire for model S, I’ll trade mine in for a new one.
He is probably the only cyber truck owner in the entire United States of America who is dropping about can't sleep in his cyber truck. This is a little foolish.
And as far as CarMax they are thieves and always have been thieves. I have first-hand experience at it.
His big complaint was range, and there's an extender pack, 🎉
Extender pack doesn't exist and probably never will.
Nothing I have seen in the real world so far gives me confidence about the 4680 batteries when it comes to charging curves, which is important for road trips. Might be a couple more iterations before they get this right or just move to something better...

Tesla can have a range extender. All they have to do is name it something else.
I have a Cybertruk reservation that I will probably not use, the truck is no good to me ,no range, price too high and I bought two model s’s and paid $100 k + on each of them

Logical thinking, and this is my own subjective opinion, I think they didn;t put auto pilot so people dont rely on it and crash other cars they want to see how Cybertruck performs first and how its driven and based on that data, they will activate autopilot on via next future SOFTWARE UPDATE. :).
The small battery, the bad charging curve are so disappointing in an otherwise cool vehicle. Tesla has had how much more development time vs say Rivian and it's still not as good.

I probably won't depreciate that much for a while. Limited production + high demand = low depreciation

I wouldn't pay more than $30000 for a Cybertruck. Too big, too inefficient, no range, poor charge curve, poor safety for other road users

Important takeaway is that pickup trucks are terrible for efficiency, and therefore are lousy EV choices if you're buying them to be guilt free daily driving a pickup. Sure some people use pickups constantly for their utility. But may Cybertruck wannabes would be first time truck owners. They should understand that getting half the efficiency means your emissions and even the life cycle emissions are 2x worse. Don't by an EV pickup if you currently drive a car, especially not because you think it looks cool. This isn't Tesla's best product. It's their worst for the climate.

tesla truck should be scrapped . defeats the purpose of be efficient. drive and brake by wire should never be allowed. nor should it ever be 7000 pounds
With that logic planes should not be allowed to fly because they are often fly by wire? Also the f250 can weigh 5500 to 7500 depending on configuration. Third the cyber truck get 60+ mpge. Truck range and charging speed could be better but there is a lot of good here.

Bosch has a brake by wire system in development that is a huge improvement over hydraulic brakes. Way more redundancy and less that can go wrong.

IF THE VEHICLE...costs more than your annual salary, you have absolutely zero business buying the car. PLEASE be wise with your money guys. These will only get cheaper.
