This song brings me back about 7 years ago. But like like the relationship Brantley wrote this about, in the end worked out, but this song still makes me flash back 7 years ago when we weren’t so sure.
I was with a girl for three and half years. The last year we spent living four hours apart while she was in school and I had moved to Nashville and trying to get settled in. She ended up meeting me there a week before Thanksgiving last year and when we left it was this feeling that something wasn't there. Two days later she called me to say she was done. This song became a permanent spot on my playlist for the first six months. It's hard cause you never stop loving someone. You may find someone else but you never forget someone or something that made you truly happy.

My husband and I heard from alot of people we shouldn't be together.. That way 10 years ago..been together 10 years and have 2 beautiful little girls.. Billy What you watched is not the whole song they just made it shorter in this video the full version has another part where he continues singing parts of the chorus with no instruments then gets louder and turns into one of those songs to where the volume just turns down and not when the drop ends or they stop singing one line or they just end it with an instrument or the drop ends then the finale of the instrument, (most likely the electric guitar).
