  • God Gives the BEST Explanation of the Trinity in Isaiah 48:16 plus-
    Isaiah 43:10; 44:6-8; Zechariah 12:1-10.
Isaiah 48:16 “Come near to Me, hear this:
    I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there.
And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me.”
Isaiah 43:10 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord,
“And My servant whom I have chosen,
That you may know and believe Me,
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
Nor shall there be after Me.
    Isaiah 44:6-8 “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last;
Besides Me there is no God. 7 And who can proclaim as I do?
Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, Since I appointed the ancient people.
And the things that are coming and shall come,
Let them show these to them. 8 Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it?
    You are My witnesses.
    Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock;
    I know not one.’ ”

I know whom we pierced. I am a Jew who has accepted Yeshua as Mosiach. I am forever grateful to Him for being the atonement and propitiation for my sins. Thank you for emphasising this.

Glory be to God; however as a Jew it is written how Babylon brought your forefathers into captivity, but look at New Testament
Revelation 17:5 KJV - And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Spiritual Babylon has brought Christian Church into mental captivity through indoctrination.
It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.

It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.
-Priest Brady, in an address, reported in the Elizabeth, NJ ‘News’ on March 18, 1903.
Protestants ... accept Sunday rather than Saturday as the day for public worship after the Catholic Church made the change... But the Protestant mind does not seem to realize that ... in observing Sunday, they are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the Church, the pope.
-Our Sunday Visitor, February 5th, 1950.
Of course these two old quotations are exactly correct. The Catholic Church designated Sunday as the day for corporate worship and gets full credit - or blame - for the change.
-This Rock, The Magazine of Catholic Apologetics and Evangelization, p.8, June 1997
      Q. Have you any other proofs that they(Protestants) are not guided by the Scripture?
      A. Yes; so many, that we cannot admit more than a mere specimen into this small work. They reject much that is clearly contained in Scripture, and profess more that is nowhere discoverable in that Divine Book.
      Q. Give some examples of both?
      A. They should, if the Scripture were their only rule, wash the feet of one another, according to the command of Christ, in the 13th chap. of St. John; -they should keep, not the Sunday, but the Saturday, according to the commandment, "Remember thou keep holy the SABBATH-day;" for this commandment has not, in Scripture, been changed or abrogated;...
-Rev. Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism; New York in 1857, page 101 Imprimatuer
      Q. Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept?
      A. Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; -she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.
-Rev. Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism; New York in 1857, page 174
      Q. In what manner can we show a Protestant, that he speaks unreasonably against fasts and abstinences?
      A. Ask him why he keeps Sunday, and not Saturday, as his day of rest, since he is unwilling either to fast or to abstain. If he reply, that the Scripture orders him to keep the Sunday, but says nothing as to fasting and abstinence, tell him the Scripture speaks of Saturday or the Sabbath, but gives no command anywhere regarding Sunday or the first day of the week.
If, then he neglects Saturday as a day of rest and holiness, and substitutes Sunday in its place, and this merely because such was the usage of the ancient Church, should he not, if he wishes to act consistently, observe fasting and abstinence, because the ancient Church so ordained?
-Rev. Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism; New York in 1857, page 181
Question: Which is the Sabbath day?
Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day.
Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.
-Rev. Peter Geiermann C.SS.R., The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p. 50
      Q. Must not a sensible Protestant doubt seriously, when he finds that even the Bible is not followed as a rule by his co-religionists?
      A. Surely, when he sees them baptize infants, abrogate the Jewish Sabbath, and observe Sunday for which [pg. 7] there is no Scriptural authority; when he finds them neglect to wash one another's feet, which is expressly commanded, and eat blood and things strangled, which are expressly prohibited in Scripture. He must doubt, if he think at all. ...
      Q. Should not the Protestant doubt when he finds that he himself holds tradition as a guide?
      A. Yes, if he would but reflect that he has nothing but Catholic Tradition for keeping the Sunday holy; ...
-Controversial Catechism by Stephen Keenan, New Edition, revised by Rev. George Cormack, published in London by Burns & Oates, Limited - New York, Cincinnati, Chicago: Benzinger Brothers, 1896, pages 6, 7.
The Church, on the other hand, after changing the day of rest from the Jewish Sabbath, or seventh day of the week, to the first, made the Third Commandment refer to Sunday as the day to be kept holy as the Lord's Day. The Council of Trent (Sess. VI, can. xix) condemns those who deny that the Ten Commandments are binding on Christians.
-The Catholic Encyclopedia, Commandments of God, Volume IV, © 1908 by Robert Appleton Company, Online Edition © 1999 by Kevin Knight, Nihil Obstat - Remy Lafort, Censor Imprimatur - +John M. Farley, Archbishop of New York, page 153.
The [Roman Catholic] Church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine, infallible authority given to her by her founder, Jesus Christ. The Protestant claiming the Bible to be the only guide of faith, has no warrant for observing Sunday. In this matter the Seventh-day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant.
      -The Catholic Universe Bulletin, August 14, 1942, p. 4.
All of us believe many things in regard to religion that we do not find in the Bible. For example, nowhere in the Bible do we find that Christ or the Apostles ordered that the Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the commandment of God given to Moses to keep holy the Sabbath Day, that is the 7th day of the week, Saturday. Today most Christians keep Sunday because it has been revealed to us by the Church outside the Bible.
-The Catholic Virginian, To Tell You The Truth,” Vol. 22, No. 49 (Oct. 3, 1947).
... you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify.
-The Faith of Our Fathers, by James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore, 88th edition, page 89. Originally published in 1876, republished and Copyright 1980 by TAN Books and Publishers, Inc., pages 72-73.
Deny the authority of the Church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday in the Third - Protestant Fourth - Commandment of God... The Church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.'
      -Catholic Record, September 1, 1923.
But since Saturday, not Sunday, is specified in the Bible, isn't it curious that non-Catholics who profess to take their religion directly from the Bible and not the Church, observe Sunday instead of Saturday? Yes, of course, it is inconsistent; but this change was made about fifteen centuries before Protestantism was born, and by that time the custom was universally observed.
They have continued the custom, even though it rests upon the authority of the Catholic Church and not upon an explicit text in the Bible. That observance remains as a reminder of the Mother Church from which the non-Catholic sects broke away - like a boy running away from home but still carrying in his pocket a picture of his mother or a lock of her hair.
      -The Faith of Millions
Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did, happened in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday. "The Day of the Lord" (dies Dominica) was chosen, not from any directions noted in the Scriptures, but from the Church's sense of its own power. The day of resurrection, the day of Pentecost, fifty days later, came on the first day of the week. So this would be the new Sabbath. People who think that the Scriptures should be the sole authority, should logically become 7th Day Adventists, and keep Saturday holy.

      Jeremiah 31:31,33 KJV
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: [33] But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
      Hebrews 8:10 KJV
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Paul wrote this to Jews who accepted Christ as you have done.
      Psalm 89:34 KJV
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
Paul quotes from Old Testament/Shadow. Christ will write the same 10 Commandments on heart of the believer wherein the 7th day Sabbath is included.
But Dan 7:25 says Antichrist would think to change it.
“The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, in whom, by the appointment of the Father, all power for the calling, institution, order or government of the church, is invested in a supreme and sovereign manner; neither can the Pope of Rome in any sense be head thereof, but is that antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalteth himself in the church against Christ.” (1689 Baptist Confession of Faith)
All Protestant Churches of past knew Antichrist is the Papacy; the Old time gospel of Jesus Christ. Today Pastors teach new doctrines of a future Antichrist Dispensationalism secret rapture deceiving the people as Scribes and Pharisees (Pastors).

Dispensationalism foundation is on sandy foundation of Antichrist the Papacy. Study Historicism method of interpretation; the Jesuits invented futurism and Preterism to counter the Protestant Reformation of Christ, Rev 12:6,14, that Christians would not view Papacy as Antichrist as they did in times past!!!

Many people who read Isaiah 9:6 fail to understand that it is a PROPHECY.
'SHALL or WILL be called' is a future event.
Which means that the promised one (Jesus) was NOT any of those titles as YET.

153  The People of the Scripture challenge you to bring down to them a book from the sky. They had asked Moses for something even greater. They said, “Show us God plainly.” The thunderbolt struck them for their wickedness. Then they took the calf for worship, even after the clear proofs had come to them. Yet We pardoned that, and We gave Moses a clear authority.
154  And We raised the Mount above them in accordance with their covenant, and We said to them, “Enter the gate humbly”, and We said to them, “Do not violate the Sabbath”, and We received from them a solemn pledge.
155  But for their violation of their covenant, and their denial of God’s revelations, and their killing of the prophets unjustly, and their saying, “Our minds are closed.” In fact, God has sealed them for their disbelief, so they do not believe, except for a few.
156  And for their faithlessness, and their saying against Mary a monstrous slander.
157  And for their saying, “We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of God.” In fact, they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them as if they did. Indeed, those who differ about him are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it, except the following of assumptions. Certainly, they did not kill him.
158  Rather, God raised him up to Himself. God is Mighty and Wise.
159  There is none from the People of the Scripture but will believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them.
160  Due to wrongdoing on the part of the Jews, We forbade them good things that used to be lawful for them; and for deterring many from God’s path.
161  And for their taking usury, although they were forbidden it; and for their consuming people's wealth dishonestly. We have prepared for the faithless among them a painful torment.
162  But those among them firmly rooted in knowledge, and the believers, believe in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you; and the observers of prayers, and the givers of charity, and the believers in God and the Last Day-upon these We will bestow an immense reward.
163  We have inspired you, as We had inspired Noah and the prophets after him. And We inspired Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and Jesus, and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron, and Solomon. And We gave David the Psalms.
164  Some messengers We have already told you about, while some messengers We have not told you about. And God spoke to Moses directly.
165  Messengers delivering good news, and bringing warnings; so that people may have no excuse before God after the coming of the messengers. God is Powerful and Wise.
166  But God bears witness to what He revealed to you. He revealed it with His knowledge. And the angels bear witness. Though God is a sufficient witness.
167  Those who disbelieve and repel from God’s path have gone far astray.
168   Those who disbelieve and transgress; God is not about to forgive them, nor will He guide them to any path.
169  Except to the path of Hell, where they will dwell forever. And that is easy for God.
170  O people! The Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe-that is best for you. But if you disbelieve, to God belongs everything in the heavens and the earth. God is Omniscient and Wise.
171  O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion, and do not say about God except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, is the Messenger of God, and His Word that He conveyed to Mary, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers, and do not say, “Three.” Refrain-it is better for you. God is only one God. Glory be to Him-that He should have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and the earth, and God is a sufficient Protector.
172  The Messiah does not disdain to be a servant of God, nor do the favored angels. Whoever disdains His worship, and is too arrogant-He will round them up to Himself altogether.
173  But as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full, and will increase His grace for them. But as for those who disdain and are too proud, He will punish them with an agonizing punishment. And they will find for themselves, apart from God, no lord and no savior.
174  O people! A proof has come to you from your Lord, and We sent down to you a clear light.
175  As for those who believe in God, and hold fast to Him, He will admit them into mercy and grace from Him, and will guide them to Himself in a straight path.
15  O People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you, clarifying for you much of what you kept hidden of the Book, and overlooking much. A light from God has come to you, and a clear Book.
16  God guides with it whoever follows His approval to the ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness into light, by His permission, and He guides them in a straight path.
17  They disbelieve those who say, “God is the Christ, the son of Mary.” Say, “Who can prevent God, if He willed, from annihilating the Christ son of Mary, and his mother, and everyone on earth?” To God belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. He creates whatever He wills, and God has power over everything.
18  The Jews and the Christians say, “We are the children of God, and His beloved.” Say, “Why then does He punish you for your sins?” In fact, you are humans from among those He created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what lies between them, and to Him is the return.
19  O People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you, making things clear to you-after a cessation of messengers-so that you cannot say, “No preacher has come to us, and no warner.” In fact, a preacher has come to you, and a warner; and God is Capable of everything.
72  They disbelieve those who say, “God is the Messiah the son of Mary.” But the Messiah himself said, “O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates others with God, God has forbidden him Paradise, and his dwelling is the Fire. The wrongdoers have no saviors.”
73  They disbelieve those who say, “God is the third of three.” But there is no deity except the One God. If they do not refrain from what they say, a painful torment will befall those among them who disbelieve.
74  Will they not repent to God and ask His forgiveness? God is Forgiving and Merciful.
75  The Messiah son of Mary was only a messenger, before whom other Messengers had passed away, and his mother was a woman of truth. They both used to eat food. Note how We make clear the revelations to them; then note how deluded they are.
76  Say, “Do you worship, besides God, what has no power to harm or benefit you?” But God: He is the Hearer, the Knower.
77  Say, “O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion beyond the truth; and do not follow the opinions of people who went astray before, and misled many, and themselves strayed off the balanced way.”
85  Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.

"Christ's spirit", or just "te spirit".
      But NEVER God the spirit
Thie next text is a reference to the Messiah:
Isaiah 42:1 (KJV) Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
God put His spirit upon His Son
This text reveals that the spirit of God is also the spirit of Christ.
That's why Jesus said John 10:30 (KJV) I and my Father are one.
Romans 8:9 (KJV) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
The next verse tells us to Christians that there is NO trinity to worship:
1 Corinthians 8:6 (KJV) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
There's NO mention of the spirit here
      THE TRINITY IS IDOLATRY
      And lastly
2 Corinthians 3:17 (KJV) Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Read the whole chapter and you will see that the spirit (of Christ) is the one transform us.
Is Christ's spirit working in our hearts because He cannot come to us in the flesh. It is through the spirit that God and His Son are OMNIPRESENT .

The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit speak to each oth er and about each other like they are separate people.
There are passages where God speaks in the first person in the Old Testament, and Jesus will quote these in the first person about himself. He will claim things that are titles of God alone about himself and tells us he can not only hear our prayers but has the ability to answer them too.
Psalm 95:7 - for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice,
Isaiah 43:13 - Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?”
Deuteronomy 32:29 - “See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.
Two of these are God speaking in the first person, one about God.
John 10:27-30 Jesus speaking, - 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
It continues to 33 with the Jewish audience picking up stones to kill Jesus, he asks for what good works do you stone me, and they say not for good works, but you being a man make yourself out to be God.
      John 14:13-14
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
John 5:19-23 Jesus said that he does everything exactly as he see the Father does and does everything the Father does and that Jesus will be judge and the Father will judge no one.
John 8, Jesus says that he saw Abraham and Abraham didn't try to kill him like the Jews were and Abraham was glad to see him. John 8:58, Jesus said that before Abraham was, I AM, which is what God told Moses his name was.
John 1:1,14 Jesus is the Word who was there in the beginning with God, and who was God, who took on flesh and dwelt among us.
Genesis 15:1-5 Jesus is the Word who came to Abram in a vision and gave him the promise of Issac, then verse 5 says the Word of the Lord (who is Jesus) lead Abram outside and gave him the promise of innumerable descendants, as many as the stars.
A human being is what I am. trenititybrehm is who I am.
God is what the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are. One God, who is three people.
The only reason the Trinity exists is because scripture teaches that the Father is God, Jesus is God, and that the Holy Spirit is God.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple (meaning his body) and in three days, I will raise it up!" He did not say his Father would raise him, although the Father and the Holy Spirit are each explicitly given credit for raising Jesus.
Isaiah 43:11, God said there is no savior besides him. Titus 3:6 Jesus is called our Savior.
John 6:46, Jesus says no one has seen the Father, yet Abraham spoke face to face with God in Genesis 18:19, Moses spoke face to face with God in Exodus 33:11 and Moses and the elders of Israel went up Mount Sinai and saw the God of Israel seated on a throne and ate with him. Jacob wrestled with God in Genesis 32:22-32.
Jesus is the one who ascends and descends out of heaven and the appearances of God throughout the Old Testament is Jesus. This is why he said before Abraham was, I am in John 8:58
Genesis 19:24 "Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah-from the LORD out of the heavens." When LORD is all caps it's using God's holy name in Hebrew, and Abraham was just pleading face to face with God to not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Gen 19:24 says Yahweh rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah from Yahweh out of heaven.
Jesus is the Yahweh who spoke to Abraham face to face and called sulfur and brimstone out of heaven from Yahweh the Father.
Jesus is God with the Father and the Holy Spirit. The Trinity is what scripture taught from the beginning because it is from the scripture that the idea of the tri-unity between the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit as being God teaches. Not something come up with later.
Mark 1:1-4, the very first verses of the very first chapter of what is cited as the very first Gospel calls Jesus God. It references Isaiah 40:3 and Malachi 3:1 where Yahweh says he will send his messenger who will be like a voice in the wilderness to make the way before he himself comes to his temple. Mark says John is that voice in the wilderness, making the way for Jesus. John 1:23 , Matthew 3:3, and Luke 3:4 also say the exact same things. So all four Gospels call Jesus Yahweh in the first few chapters in the exact same way quoting the exact same Old Testament scriptures to do so.
In Mark 10:18, Jesus said,"Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God." Meaning: "You call me good when only God is good, do you understand what you are calling me?" To further the point, Christ then lists the 6 commandments that relate to how people deal with each other and asks the man if he's followed those. The man says yes. Then, instead of listing the 4 commandments on how to relate to God and asking if he's followed those, Jesus tells the man, "Follow me," because following and worshiping Christ is following and worshiping God.
In Mark Jesus heals the paralytic man, but first, he tells him your sins are forgiven. The Pharisees around thought in their hearts this was blasphemy, because only God can forgive sins. Jesus instantly know what they were thinking and called them out on it, and said to prove to you I can forgive sins, get up and walk and the paralytic could walk. Jesus proved he is God for only God can forgive sins, only God knows the hearts of men (Jeremiah 11:20 and 17:10), and only God can heal people. Jesus did all three in Mark's Gospel, which is often considered the oldest of the four.
Read Hebrews 1:8-12. Old Testament scriptures are quoted that are talking about God creating the universe, and Hebrews 1:8-12 quotes them and attributes the Father calling Jesus God, the Lord who created the everything, who is eternal.
Hebrews 1:10-12 Is directly quoting Psalm 102:25-27, where the Psalm is talking about Yahweh (God) and Hebrews is talking about Jesus, the Son.
      Philippians 2:5-7
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
      1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
      2 Peter 1:1
Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
      Matthew 1:23
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" (which means “God with us" )
      Titus 2:13
looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
      Isaiah 44:6
“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God."
      Revelation 1:17-18
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
      Isaiah 48:16
“Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me.”
(God is speaking, saying he was there from the beginning, and that the Lord God and His Spirit sent him. The Trinity in the Old Testament.)
      Zechariah 12:10
"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

      The (Trinity) is damnable heresy!
Those who worship a 3 person's god worship another Jesus in vain!
The (trinity) is not only a perverse corrupt idle vain word of confusion not found in the book of the LORD, it is a doctrine of devils and a damnable heresy!
God is a Spirit, a Holy Spirit, he is one person!
Jesus is the only wise God and Saviour, the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, the everlasting Father, the mighty God, the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost, the Almighty.
Those who believe in the damnable heresy they call (Trinity) find their doctrine hard to understand and impossible to prove by using the pure words found only in the holy scriptures.
And yet the preaching of Jesus as the only wise God and Saviour, the blessed and only Potentate, the everlasting Father, the Almighty can be understood by a child.
      2 Timothy 3:15-17
[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
      2 Corinthians 11:3-4
[3] But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
[4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
      Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
      John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
      Exodus 3:13-14
[13] And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
[14] And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
      John 8:56-58
[56] Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
[57] Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
[58] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
      Isaiah 45:21-23
[21] Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. [22] Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
[23] I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
      Philippians 2:10
      That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
      1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
      Job 13:8-10
[8] Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
[9] Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
[10] He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
      John 14:8-9
[8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
[9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
      John 8:24-27
[24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
[25] Then said they unto him,
      Who art thou?
And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
[26] I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
[27] They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
      John 10:30
I and my Father are one.
      1 John 2:22-23
[22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
[23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
      Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
      Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
      Genesis 22:8
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
      1 John 3:16
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
      Acts 20:28
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
      John 20:28-29
[28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
[29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
      Revelation 1:7-8
[7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
[8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
      1 Timothy 6:14-16
[14] That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
      [15] Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
[16] Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Nowhere in the Bible you will the statement "God the holy spirit"
You will find "the spirit of God " or "God's spirit", "the spirit of Christ" or
"Christ's spirit", or just "te spirit".

@notsure62 Elohim that God made? When Elohim is not speaking of the many gods in scripture, it is speaking of His uncreated self. God does not speak within Himself? See on Gen. 8:21--"And the Lord said in his heart". Elsewhere, in scripture, the Lord is seen communing with His soul.

@notsure62 Elohim, who Jesus called on when he was on the cross, is the name of Jehovah, as we also see in the saying--shema-- of De. 6:4. It can be either gods (plural in number) or the one Lord (a plurality of majesty). Mostly in the scriptures it refers to a multiplicity of God's (to include angels as you say). But in the case of God, it does not refer to plural persons, but "greatness" (I Sam. 14:15 and Ge. 13:8), "mighty" (Ex. 9:28 and Gen. 23:6), "exceedingly" (Jonah 3:3). God is a plurality of majesty.

Yeshayahu 48.16 - "Who is speaking?" Good question. The first part were the words of God uttered by the prophet (in the context of what was said before) and the second part is about the prophet himself: "[and now] God has send me, and His spirit." Ru'ach in Hebrew means wind, breath or, in this case, it means 'inspiration', 'afflatus' as a prophet was inspired by God. Similar wording can be found in Is. 61.1: "The afflatus of the Souvereign God is _upon_ [and not IN] me, (Yeshayahu the prophet) because G'd has anointed me." Anointed means, in this case, not literally anointed, but chosen to be the bearer of God's words.

I feel very sad when I see someone misleading others. So many people who believe the Trinity are unaware of its origin. Contrary to what people think the Trinity is not a Bible teaching. Any good encyclopedia or Google search will tell you that this teaching had its start in the year 325 at the Council of Nicea. The non-Christian Emperor Constantine played a big role in inventing it. Very soon after that the churches adopted it as an official teaching and since that time millions of people have been misled. The Trinity was invented about 300 years after the death of Jesus and more than 200 years after the completion of the Bible so obviously Jesus and his disciples wouldn’t have believed or taught it. The Bible clearly shows that God and Jesus are two separate and distinct persons and that the holy spirit is not a person at all.

In Jn. 1:18, it says Jesus is in the bosom of the Father, so that he cannot literally be at God's right hand and in his bosom at the same time. I do not mind you disrespecting me because you are diminishing the Deity of Jesus Christ as well. The Lord in Jn. 8:58 says before Abraham had existence, he was (the eternal One. There are other places, but God chose to conceal his Divineness in the son of man for a reason-- so that he could in every way except for sin become like humanity. The Divine and the human were intertwined in the man Jesus. When he hungered and wept or was weary, this was his humanity. But when he forgave, saved, healed, and did miracles, this was God in the flesh. Think of it like this: The one Holy God telescoped Himself into this world in the human manifestation born of a virgin. Yes. Isaiah gives us several good pictures of the trinity.
We have to explain the trinity to Muslims. The use of the word "persons" is confusing to those who are not of our camp. It sounds like tri-theism, because of other uses of the word "persons." It would be better if we found a word with less overlap.

    • @theSpian1

Explaining the Trinity is not needed for the salvation of Muslims just as it isn't needed for anybody else's salvation.
Jesus Christ is God and the Saviour of the world, He died for our sins and was resurrected and is now alive forever, call upon His name and be saved.
Muslims who keep getting stuck on the Trinity are not really interested, after all, Satan has added layers upon layers of deception in the Quran designed to entrench Muslims in darkness and keep them far away from knowledge of the Messiah, the Maker of this world. All we need to do is to show that the Bible is not corrupted (a favourite accusation from their quarter) and accurately preach what it says about the Triune God. Then we pray to God that His Holy Spirit will illumine these truths in their hearts to quicken their spirits.

It's mind boggling. In now way do I come close to understanding how this works. I just believe it because of what's written in scripture. But I firmly believe that in the first few moments of being in eternity it will be a forehead slapping moment of, "Aha! I totally get it now!"
We live in a 3 dimensional world and God exists in at least more than 3--or at least in totally separate ones. It's like how can we explain ourselves and describe who and how we are to a person living in a 2-dimensional world? Someone living in a flat piece of paper. How can we show ourselves to them except by touching the paper? How much more is there to us than what can touch the paper? I use this analogy to explain to myself the separation of comprehension of our visible world to God's. How much more is there for us to comprehend!

Thank you for highlighting these prophecies of the coming Messiah/ Christ!
One thing I notice in the Trinity is that it doesn't reference the Word.
In Isaiah, he says, "i have not spoken in secret from the beginning." What happened in the beginning?
John 1:1 teaches us, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
The Word was with GOD in the beginning. Isaiah 57:15 teaches us that GOD lives in eternity. The Almighty GOD is before the beginning! Before the Word was created. The Word is created in the beginning, the Word is not eternity.
The Word was with GOD and was GOD in the beginning. The word WAS means we are learning about the past. The Word is no longer GOD. Was is past tense. So what happened to the Word?
In John 1:14 we learn the Word was made flesh. GOD wasn't made flesh. The Word was made flesh when Mary conceived in her womb. Luke 1:31
So the Trinity puts the Lord Jesus in heaven before he was born. He is flesh. He is the Word that was made flesh. GOD is not flesh and didn't become flesh. GOD is a Spirit! John 4:24

Another profound thing I noticed about the book of Zechariah is in Chapter 6:9-12 About the Priest and King. It says this:
"then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest; 12 and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH"
The BRANCH is a Messianic reference, and it says when speaking of Joshua the High Priest: "Behold! The man whose name is the BRANCH", take note: the context is referring to Joshua (a form of Jesus name in Hebrew "Yehoshua", from which the name "Yeshua" is derived), so the LORD is basically saying that this BRANCH (a Messianic Reference) will be named "Yehoshua" or in English: Jesus.
I hope this knowledge helps anyone reading it.

Nowhere in the Bible you will find the statement "God the holy spirit"
You will find "the spirit of God " or "God's spirit", "the spirit of Christ" or
"Christ's spirit", or just "te spirit".
It is through the spirit that God and His Son are OMNIPRESENT to work in the hearts of those who seek Him.

Good sir, it's a pleasure to study the Scriptures (tanakh), and thanks for sharing your thoughts 😊
Howbeit your ignorance speaks volume, here's why
First, Isaiah 48 vs 16 is divided into two parts, the first is the words from the LORD God through Isaiah and 2nd is the words of Isaiah who is sent to speak, but it is still Isaiah that is making both of these statements known. So, the last statement of that verse was Isaiah speaking.
Which also is why there's a semicolon(;) or closed quote mark(") in the revised standard Bible, which in English language marks the end of quoting a statement that's made by someone else to separate this is used to separate the words from the LORD God and the words of affirmation from Isaiah.
Now, if you look closely using the Christain Bible, you'll notice (only if you look closely) that the writer of Isaiah was consistently switching between 1st and 3rd person, you'll understand this if you study the previous chapters, this proves that Isaiah had finished speaking God's word and stated that the LORD God has sent him to speak these things through the empowerment of his Spirit(which is NOT a different person/being/character that may have a self awareness of it's own or be worthy of worship, NO!!!, His Spirit is simply God's empowerment) and in verse 17 continued to say Thus says the LORD God...
HaShem is not an author of confusion, man is. Because we fail to heed to the LORD God who has repeatedly reiterated Himself verse after verse in the whole of Isaiah that he's is God alone
Secondly, about Zachariah 12, God has in lots of places expressed pain and anger on how the sin of Israel has hurt him. However, pireced is just expression for hurt.
HaShem is God alone, and there's none besides him
He alone does make and forever will make all things
    Thanks ❤

It is through the spirit that God and His Son are OMNIPRESENT to work in the hearts of those who seek Him.

Nowhere in the Bible you will find the statement "God the holy spirit"
You will find "the spirit of God " or "God's spirit", "the spirit of Christ" or
"Christ's spirit", or just "te spirit".

No one denies there is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as mentioned in several places in the Bible. The problem is: Are they each from everlasting and equal one with the other? Throughout the Bible there are 18 verses in the Old Testament and 10 in the New Testament that allude to Beside me there is no God. People are always trying to prove God is Triune in nature, but all they end up doing is confirming Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist. Deuteronomy 10:17 says: For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, mighty and awesome, which regards not persons nor take rewards (bribes). Jesus himself, while praying to his Father said: “ ‘And this is life eternal’ that we might know his Father is the only true (Omnipotent) God, and Jesus Christ, whom he has sent”. The Trinity is a construct of the Catholic Church, the beast out of the sea.

Why?? You are not , then aware of translation errors -- that there was both a shorter version earlier Christians were familiar with and this longer version -- and the simple view of this verse in light of the entirety of Scripture. The following a well studied undertaking of Zechariah 10 that I think applies.
"The facts show us that the passage is referring to people looking upon Yahweh concerning the piercing of His Messiah
1.) The Trinitarian Translation is Incoherent
We need to consider just what the Trinitarian translation actually says. It says "they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced and they shall mourn for HIM." It doesn't even make sense. The people are looking upon the pierced person, ME, but mourning for someone else altogether, HIM. It also seems incredulous to suppose Yahweh shifts from referring to Himself in the first person, "me", to referring to Himself in the third person, "him", in the very same breath. It also says that they will mourn as one mourns for a "firstborn son." Does the Bible not say that Jesus is God's firstborn son?
      2.) Hebrews 1:1-2
Zechariah was a prophet of God. The Bible tells us that it was the Father who spoke through the prophets. The Scriptures not only tell us it was the Father who spoke through the prophets, it actually tells us it wasn't the son.
God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in a son.
If the Son had spoken to God's people, it would be senseless to make such a statement. No one would say such a thing if he thought the Son spoke to the Israelites of old.
3.) The Understanding of the Early Christians
Then also does the prophet in vain declare, “They shall look on Him whom they have pierced, and mourn over themselves as over one beloved. (Ignatius, Letter to the Trallians (Long Recension), X).
The Long Recension is traditionally regarded as the corrupt version over and against the Short Recension. This statement is missing in the Short Recension.
Justin's words also suggest he knew of the "look upon him" (shorter) version.
"For they shall look on Him whom they pierced." (Tertullian, Against Praxeas, 25).
      4.)Inconsistent Trinitarian Translations
Let us also review some major translations translated by Trinitarian Greek scholars:
-- they shall look on him whom they have thrust through, and they shall mourn for him (NAB)
-- they will look at the one whom they stabbed to death (TEV: Todays English Version)
-- they will look at the one whom they have pierced (The Jerusalem Bible)
-- they shall look on him whom they stabbed (Moffatt)
-- they shall look at him whom they have stabbed (American Translation, Goodspeed)
Notice how the above translations say something completely different than the version used in the Trinitarian claim. In order to make their claims, Trinitarian apologists must cherry-pick the translation suits their agenda. Now if Trinitarian Greek scholars themselves have seen fit to translate the passage in this manner, it is rather obvious there is a serious problem in using this passage as evidence in support of Trinitarian doctrine. Just as John understood the passage, neither of the above two Trinitarian translations indicate Yahweh is the one being pierced.
5.) The Zechariah 12:10 Version which the Apostle John Knew
"And again another Scripture says, "They shall look to him whom they pierced." (John 19:37).
The reading of Zechariah 12:10 which John knows is not "they shall look upon ME" but "they shall look upon HIM." (or more literally, "to whom they pierced.").
***Don't be mind blown by this false trinity doctrine and the teachers who seek to force it into your heart by manipulating Scripture to fit their traditions of error.
Simply put -- The Father is God alone and Christ is the Only Begotten Son of the One True God.
The Father, as Scripture says, MADE Christ both LORD AND MESSIAH -- and Christ himself testifies to these things. Remember, Christ is the Lamb of God (The Father) -- and consider, read every time the angels of God (who certainly know God) speak of Christ they never, ever refer to him as the Almighty or God. Rather, like in the Book of Revelation, the angels call Christ "The Lamb of God."
Christ tells us His Father is the One True God
Christ tells us that His Father GAVE TO him all power and authority in heaven and earth
Christ tells us that the WORDS he speaks are HIS FATHER'S WORDS
Christ tells Mary to tell the disciples, "...I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."

Just as he deceived Adam and Eve in the beginning with what they already were “You would become like God when you eat the fruit”. But They were already made in the image of God! That’s why Jesus called the devil the father of all lies and said he lied from the beginning.
It’s mind blowing how you can see something black and white and still miss it.

@@Christusolus John 8:58 is one of or the weakest trinitarian proof text. I would say it is one of the best texts to support modalism. Jesus did not say what was said at Exodus 3:14. The blind man at John 9:9 said exactly what Jesus said at John 8:58. Let's look.
      John 8:58 ἐγὼ εἰμί~ego eimi~I AM.

      Here you have it;

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Thank you for this exceptional explanation of a very important, but difficult, issue! Right on target!

Nowhere in the Bible you will the statement "God the holy spirit"
You will find "the spirit of God " or "God's spirit", "the spirit of Christ" or
"Christ's spirit", or just "te spirit".

See A Summary of Scriptural Proofs of 3 Persons Unite As 1 God: In Seperable.
You have to be led by the Holy Spirit to read.
1 John chapter 5 verse 7 *For there are 3 that bear a record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these 3 are 1*.” This verse has been removed from the NAB version of the Bible, therefore the NAB is not a Holy Bible. The NAB is the beast's version of the Bible. You do know that the enemy also uses Scripture to deceive by twisting it.
      (1) "In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth."
      (2) "And the *Spirit* of God moved upon the face of the waters." * The Holy Spirit is a life giving Spirit * The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.
      (4) For the law of the *Spirit of life* in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."
      (5) God uses *His Word* to speak creation into existence:
      (6) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the *Word was God*."
      (7) "He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood and His name is called *The Word of God*" *The Word of God is Christ, Jesus*
      (8) *For there are 3 that bear a record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these 3 are one*.”
      SEE THEM( 3 as 1)
      (9) "And the *Word was made flesh*, and dwelt among us." The Word was made flesh.
"She(Mary) was found with child of the *Holy Spirit*" "For that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. "
Christ who is the Word, became Son of man, which means to become human like you and I.
      (10) " *He(Christ) is the Image of the Invisible God*, the Firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. *All things were created through Him and for Him*.” The Him is speaking of Christ, Jesus.
      (11) " Now if any man have not the *Spirit of Christ*, he is none of His." Also this * Life giving Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, is the Holy Spirit."
      (12) The Spirit of the Living God is the Holy Spirit. Jesus is Lord. Lord means king.
(13)"Now the *Lord is that Spirit*: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. "
(14). "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost( Holy Spirit), whom the Father will send in My Name(Christ’s Name), He( The Holy Spirit) shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
      * Do you see the 3 persons of God as 1 from the beginning to the end?*
There are more Scriptures but I can't all write them here.
“For since by man(Adam) came death, by Man(Christ)also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ, all shall be made alive.”
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”
      Is Christ God? Yes
Is the Holy Spirit( Holy Ghost) God? Yes
Now the *Lord is that Spirit*: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. "
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Life.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.
Jesus is the Spirit of Life.
Jesus is the Spirit of Truth.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and Life.
3 in unity as 1. No one can separate them.
*For there are 3 that bear a record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these 3 are one*.” This verse has been removed from the NAB version of the Bible, therefore the NAB is not a Holy Bible.
The @nti-chr!$t spirit is a very very religious spirit, with their own theology and doctrines. For example, remember the Pharisees and Sadduccees? Exactly.
      References: KJV, Holy Bible: Genesis 1, Romans 8, Matthew 1, Revelation 19, 1 John 5, John 1, John 14, Colossians 1, 2 Corinthians 3 verse 17.
"Now the *Lord is that Spirit*: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. "
