Campus concern for Palestine is largely a moral fad, or the latest sub-fad in the whole "social justice" moral fad. Adolescents, especially girls, are vulnerable to social contagion. That's pretty much it. They find out what they're supposed to be for or against this week, and a few even learn to reel off a few lines about why.
They problem is this indoctrination is going to stick with them into adulthood. They're being taught to drag down their own civilization in favor of vastly inferior civilizations.
