I have been buying Kerala red rice - Raktashali or Kavuna, and NE purple forbidden rice from Amazon. Those are said to be organic and parboiled. I recently also tried bamboo rice. As for brown rice I tried Dawat but I didn't like it as it felt heavy.

Why not use the soaking water for cooking? It has all the B vitamins from the bran dissolved in it! Also pressure cooking for so long(4 whistles on high flame!) Will certainly destroy remains vitamins . The purpose of eating brown rice is defeated!
There are different schools of thought about how to use soaking water. We go with the school of removing the soaking water that contains some of the phytates , which act as nutrient inhibitors. You can cook brown rice in a vessel , the rice just requires more pre soaking and more cooking time.
