Clothes are actually a minor part of "dressing up." The simplest blouse and pants can be dressed up with shoes, some long sparkly necklaces, earrings or dress hair clips, a nice bracelet or watch, a dressy pin for your blouse and a bit of makeup if you choose. I think a smile is the best thing for dressing up! People want to make sure you are having a good time! Note to self.
Your hair looks lovely, Karen! I always say we live in a part of the world where we are so blessed with our weather (Ontario, Canada). Our farmers in our rural community had bumper crops in the spring and summer and the pumpkins in the field (dry...) right now are so abundant. I never take this for granted. My heart breaks for areas that suffer such devastating weather. Anyway....I hope you have a wonderful evening out!
I do love Karen's hair parted on that side. It's fun she can go straight back side to side she looks good in French yeah I love this side part she looks so fancy:-):-):-)
I have worked out that it's cheaper to buy tinned new potatoes than buy fresh now. By the time they are cooked potatoes are not a cheap option any more
Lovely as always. A bit of jewelry or a scarf will elevate an everyday outfit. I do it all the time. Much cheaper and doesn't take up as much room. Its a good idea to keep an eye on what is available locally, because imported stuff goes to the highest bidder, and you will have to pay or do without.
Have a wonderful evening. I find adding a nice silky type of scarf and maybe some sparkly earrings ( costume) goes a long way to making a nicer wool jumper or a blouse going out worthy!

I wonder what the economic reason for not having the farmers grow. Unless the land is stripped and needs to be rejuvenated for the best health of the soil. Governments boo hoo cry baby governments always try a new crap and never looking back to see what really worked.

I’ve been talking to a farmer recently who confirmed that as from next year they will be paid by the government not to grow food but to re wild.
