It's not bad, people just bitch because things aren't what they want them to be. Can't respect anything for what it is. I loved it at launch, but it is repetitive I have to admit. That's the only issue I have with it.
Gotta be honest, I got it during the Prime Day giveaway and I legit don't think it's a bad game. The core game and gameplay itself is fun. Unfortunately, the end game stuff is what kills it. It's actually good timing because season 2 is releasing in a few days and so we'll have new content, but I blew through the main game and season 1 Joker both episodes in like 4 days and now it's basically just repeating the same missions over and over to gain higher mastery ranks and get better loot. It literally feels like a looter shooter made by people who only know how to make single player games. They didn't design the longevity part right. FYI, you can get Joker for free. Just start season 1 and get to episode 1 level 35 and you'll fight Brainiac. After you beat him, Joker is yours. Joker's traversal is actually the most fun to use, so get to it lol
Gotta disagree. Playing this in multiplayer was a headache. The CONSTANT talking. It's a cacophony of noise. You're trying to talk to your friend. Characters are talking, the radio is talking, the world is talking, you miss so much because dialogue gets cut off if you actually get to missions. Then the gameplay is interrupted constantly with "Mission rewards" or "Cutscenes" which again is MORE talking. Then the absolute flood of items/gameplay items that KEEP happening before ANYTHING meaningful happens is mind numbing. Not to mention the truckload of bugs that happen in Multiplayer.

I only played it solo with bots (which has improved since launch, the bot teammates were idiots from what I heard) and even then the game was sensory overload. At higher mastery levels the screen was so full of garbage and noise that... I just turned whatever I could off. The gameplay is still fun at its core, nonetheless.

I love looter shooter but I’m not gonna fold over 20 minutes of gameplay when the story is utter shit. It’s a looter shooter meaning dlc content=money for them to keep PRODUCING SHIT. No thank you. I wanna see NEW companies making BETTER GAMES THAN AAA STUDIOS MAKING SHIT AFTER SHIT AFTER SHIT.
For me this game is huge mix from Kingdom hearts saga and Borderlands saga, and as they are niche games ppl are not getting the true potential at these game, but I'm just playing it till Season 13 and that's it for a Suicid Squad 2, I guess this is true Arkham feeling split into Harley Queen, and if you want some new mechanic you can switch to Shark or Boomer, but my favorite one is also deadshot as I really find his movement and shooting really feeling like big range sniper one bullet like from Mordecai's Borderlands feelings.- And the infinity xp grind and infinite wave of enemies feel like Kingdom Hearts through world as we take part in Multiverse part 🌍 And that's actually accurate wherever you go it feels concrete and real, role playing is allowed.- 😂😂😂😂🎉🎴
