does anyone have any idea how the ASUS TUF F15 FX507ZC4-HN005, Intel Core i5-12500H model is doing for music production, I use Abelton and I've heard all kinds of opinions, thank you very much

In India, a15 with ryzen 9 5900 hx is also selling around same price. Quite comparable to ryzen 9 6800

f -> it has intel cpu
a -> it has AMD cpu
15 -> 15 inch
17 -> 17 inch
dash -> similar to the non dash (just gaming) model but is more slimmer (in cost of some Performance)
TUF f15 would be 15inch intel version while TUF a15 would be 15inch AMD version.
My recommendation:
- Go for 15inch as it's more ideal than 17inch
- If you just care about performance go for f15 as its beats AMD 6800h by almost 25% in overall bechmark performance (go for 12th gen i7)
- If you care about power efficiency, battery life, and a cpu built with modern 6nm architecture then go for a15. (go for ryzen 7 6800h)
- now after you picked your cpu its time for display
TUF f15 and a15 comes with 3types of display:
1. 144hz FHD 300nits brightness (don't recommend it as it has just 68% sRGB which makes its dull)
2. 300hz FHD 100% sRGB 300+ nits brightness
3. 165hz QHD 100% DCI-P3 350+ nits brightness (I recommend).
For RAM choose atleast 16GB which later according to your need can upgrade to 32GB. Choose storage of atleast 512GB or 1TB.
Choosing GPU:
Atleast RTX 3060. According to your budget you may choose higher end but for most of us RTX 3060 should be enough.
Don't choose dash, in the same price range why loose performance just to make it look slimmer. Also the "slimmer" things is bs as you can't say much difference among them.
@vivekjataniya1174 if you want to do editing make sure you have good display, either 100% sRGB or 100% DCI-P3 (recommend) but don't go for anything that has less than 100% sRGB.

Rtx 3050, 16 gb ram common.
Screen size does not matter, currently both are available at same price.
A15 is around 82k on Amazon and F17 is around 81k on Flipkart.
Which one should I buy
A15 is a much better pick, I have it and it’s great. Intel is great but the Ryzen cpu is much better for laptops in general than the intel one you listed. Overall I would go with the a15, just my personal opinion.

Tuf A15 for gaming 75% and for work 25%
Tuf F15 60%game 40% work

but I'm mining engineer and I need to design copper mine or salt mine with Datamine Studio software and etc. So I need to render of more data. On the other hand, I watch much movies and I use the Photoshop software. then I need to have a high quality of screen. please help me to choose correctly.
For me I'd go for Omen 16, stay away from 3050. 3050 is not worth buying, 1650ti is even sometimes beating 3050, also 3050 is having a cap since it was released what more after a year or two. It's just silly for a 30 series having 4gb or VRAM smh.
