He’s saved me in the past I had to deal with a bully for 8 straight years in school and I almost got away with dealing with him for 5 but thanks to the “No child left behind law”(don’t know if it’s even a thing anymore) I had to deal with another 3 years of abuse with nobody doing anything about it but no matter how much I felt like taking my life in my own hands and just ending it all, Emile got me to smile after all of it so when I heard he was making this series I was ecstatic as it was how I had found his channel and although I hadn’t watched him in a long time as I had moved on in life with other more important things than youtube, I’ve been watching this series since day 1 of it’s release laughing, crying, feeling empathetic for Emile’s stories and all around, having a wonderful time So just as you have said so elegantly, Thank you Emile for everything you’ve done to keep a boy that felt there was nothing live for, a reason to smile and be happy with life
Hey Emile, I don't normally write comments on videos that often, but something about this series coming to a close made me want to type this out. I have no idea if you'll read this, but here goes. I want you to know that your videos have made such a huge impact on my life. I'm 18 years old now, having just had my birthday recently (November to be precise). When I was around 10 years old, I found your Super Mario Sunshine LP. I loved it and got hooked on watching your content, devouring series after series. I learned about games that I had never played but grew to have a huge appreciation for. The entire Paper Mario series in particular is one notable example; without your Let's Plays I would never have known those games existed, let alone how good they are. Another great pick is Skyward Sword (even if this one is more recent). I have some memories of watching a friend play through a bit of it when I was a kid, and I remember thinking it looked incredible. You showed me the rest of that game and again, I loved it. As the years have gone by, I found other channels to watch, but I never stopped checking in and revisiting older LP's or watching your channel to see if you were currently playing a game that looked interesting. I've stuck around because I really enjoy your unique and genuine style of commentary. No other content creator I've found has ever exuded the same personality and style that you do. I've quite literally grown up watching your videos, and I don't regret a second of the time I have spent and will continue to spend watching them in the future. I didn’t know how searching worked, so I’d look for hours after finding Mario videos to watch your work again. Those first videos were super Luigi galaxy. Still today, you are my favorite content creator, and when you hit a million subscribers during Luigi’s mansion two I was thrilled. Saying that « you got me through tough times » or something wouldn’t be genuine, as I’ve had a fairly happy life so far, yet your content always makes me smile. Watching this let’s play especially brought me back to my childhood first playing this game and first finding your content in a way nothing else every did. I am happy in a way I can’t describe. I'll be honest, I never really got the infamy behind Grandmaster Galaxy. Never felt that difficult, even as a kid, especially compared to the Green Luma Galaxies from Galaxy 1.

Not gonna lie, I actually teared up on this episode. This was such an amazing Let's play and I am so glad I got to see it from start to finish. Can't wait for the next let's play. Think I'm gonna go watch the Super Mario Galaxy Let's play now
I love the fact that they learned from SMG2 and decided to make every Final Bowser encounter after this game as epic as possible. In 3D Land, it was a really intense and long platforming challenge/chase sequence with multiple phases. In 3D World, they took the same idea and made it more vertical. And in Odyssey, it built upon all the other Bowser fights in an epic and meaningful way, leading up to the climax.
I just moved away from home when you started playing this. Watching you play through a game that I have such fond memories from my childhood made the transition a lot easier. Thank you so much and merry christmas 😊

I don’t know how to describe how emotional I became as the last minute kicked in. I remember being 12 years old and just discovering your videos, binging them into the night. My brother and I sat at our downstairs computer crying of laughter at your Super Mario Galaxy let’s play. It got me through being bullied at my school and got me even more interested in trying out new games. Seeing this now, as a happy 21 year old, almost done with college with a wonderful family and happily in love...it’s like this through all the hardship and pain never changed. This decade will end in just a few weeks. But this channel throughout my childhood and into my adulthood as been there for me. To laugh, to smile, to reminisce. Thank you Emile. For being apart of what I look forward to every day.
Im currently getting over a rather severe cough (caused by a rather persistent lung issue but Ill spare you the details). This started up about 3 weeks ago, with my finals being last week. And this cough of mine was really making it hard to get to sleep. Normally I turn my phone off as I sleep, but I needed something to destract me and help get sleepy despite the endless coughing. This series was that thing. Something about seeing a LPer I like play through something I grew up with... was so relaxing. So thank you. You helped me get through my toughest week as a student yet. Sad to see it over so soon, but I loved every minute of it.

I didn’t know how searching worked, so I’d look for hours after finding Mario videos to watch your work again. Those first videos were super Luigi galaxy.
Still today, you are my favorite content creator, and when you hit a million subscribers during Luigi’s mansion two I was thrilled. Saying that « you got me through tough times » or something wouldn’t be genuine, as I’ve had a fairly happy life so far, yet your content always makes me smile.
Watching this let’s play especially brought me back to my childhood first playing this game and first finding your content in a way nothing else every did. I am happy in a way I can’t describe. I’ll be sad when this ends, but really happy it did. It gave me something truly special again.

I'll be honest, I never really got the infamy behind Grandmaster Galaxy. Never felt that difficult, even as a kid, especially compared to the Green Luma Galaxies from Galaxy 1.

I love the fact that they learned from SMG2 and decided to make every Final Bowser encounter after this game as epic as possible. In 3D Land, it was a really intense and long platforming challenge/chase sequence with multiple phases. In 3D World, they took the same idea and made it more vertical. And in Odyssey, it built upon all the other Bowser fights in an epic and meaningful way, leading up to the climax.
I just moved away from home when you started playing this. Watching you play through a game that I have such fond memories from my childhood made the transition a lot easier. Thank you so much and merry christmas 😊

I don’t know how to describe how emotional I became as the last minute kicked in. I remember being 12 years old and just discovering your videos, binging them into the night. My brother and I sat at our downstairs computer crying of laughter at your Super Mario Galaxy let’s play. It got me through being bullied at my school and got me even more interested in trying out new games. Seeing this now, as a happy 21 year old, almost done with college with a wonderful family and happily in love...it’s like this through all the hardship and pain never changed. This decade will end in just a few weeks. But this channel throughout my childhood and into my adulthood as been there for me. To laugh, to smile, to reminisce. Thank you Emile. For being apart of what I look forward to every day.

Im currently getting over a rather severe cough (caused by a rather persistent lung issue but Ill spare you the details). This started up about 3 weeks ago, with my finals being last week. And this cough of mine was really making it hard to get to sleep.
Normally I turn my phone off as I sleep, but I needed something to destract me and help get sleepy despite the endless coughing.
This series was that thing. Something about seeing a LPer I like play through something I grew up with... was so relaxing.
