I actually wrote a dream journal entry titled Modern Warfare 4, me thinking the series would never get THAT far, so it feels like my dream may actually come true 😂 mind you, the dream took place in Call of Duty and I wrote it in 2009. May not seem interesting to most but I’m SO HYPED for it!!!

Ok, so from what i can gather Makarov is part of the inner circle, right before Victor and Imran Zakhaev dies and right before he joined Konni Ultranationalists, so basically the inner circle still exists in the new MW trilogy, but Makarov wasn't the head of the snake.
I think the ending kinda sucked. They just had to rush a death for the shock factor. It would’ve been better in my opinion if the cut the AC130 mission on the second to last mission and replaced that with soaps death so we as the player had more of a urge to go after Makorov in the final mission. Seriously why did we need another AC130 mission when there were already 2 in MW2 last year
Also I feel like Makrov himself wasn’t as good as the Og one from the original series. Yeah he killed innocent civilians and tried to start a war again but , he never kills any of the main characters we are connected to like he did in the original… kamorov, yuri, soap

Yup, mw2019 campaign was a 9/10, mw2022 campaign was a 7.5/10 and now cod mw2023 is a 3/10. Don't get me wrong, mw2023 missions where okay, but where forgettable and the low score for it is almost entirely because of that dog water ending

Ok I just beat the campaign the last mission is my favorite mission going through the subway tunnels as the trains are passing by while in a fire fight that was pretty cool and intense but my biggest complaint is that Maniac escaped and killed soap I want justice we need campaign dlc that said I do like the game and the gameplay the shooting feels good I give this game a 7 because of the ending and some times the game will crash

Speaking of villains, I’m curious to see what Viktor Zakhaev brings to the table in Zombies.

I think mw3 gets too much hate, the campaign does take the piss, the dmz missions where unnecessary and lazyily made and the cutscenes where short But the graphics are amazing, the gunplay is still class even if it wasn't as good as MW2019 and multplayer is way more fun than MW2 I miss MW2018 it truly was the game that saved cod, but there is more in stock for modern warfare

worst cod campaign in history, every major thing that happened in this story was unearned and have 0 impact compared to it's original trilogy, open combat mission are bad spec-ops/DMZ-lite missions that add/do nothing of significance to make it even the slightest bit interesting, and they make up like 75% of the missions in this 3 hour campaign, I know its "just a cod campaign" but this feels like a bad movie adaptation of the original MW2, everything about this felt just so souless and I wouldn't say rushed but just completely so empty of any passion to do anything at all, cod campaigns are suppose to be crazy roller coaster rides with awesome set pieces that I take a day to finish. Campaign was forgettable, imo. More bad writing, with a story that makes less sense than the OG trilogy. Once again, IW has a weird love affair with the Brits. TF141 is the A-team, led by an American general and rogue CIA officer. The Brits must be mercs as they don't fall up under SAS command. Laswell clearly doesn't answer to anyone. Shepherd clearly has no command as he just works with a PMC. The American military must not exist after MW2019, and neither does the British military I guess. The story is also rushed, and Makarov's plans ridiculous (does he want Russia to retake Urzikstan or does he want to start a war with the US?) His plan at the end just seems random. They need new writers. Gameplay looks pretty good but the story is a continuation of the bad writing from MW2022.
No way Makarov survived after being stabbed by Soap in the neck. The whole scene was wrong. Maybe Activision can bring him back...or like in throwback missions in Campaign.

Campaign was forgettable, imo. More bad writing, with a story that makes less sense than the OG trilogy. Once again, IW has a weird love affair with the Brits. TF141 is the A-team, led by an American general and rogue CIA officer. The Brits must be mercs as they don't fall up under SAS command. Laswell clearly doesn't answer to anyone. Shepherd clearly has no command as he just works with a PMC. The American military must not exist after MW2019, and neither does the British military I guess. The story is also rushed, and Makarov's plans ridiculous (does he want Russia to retake Urzikstan or does he want to start a war with the US?) His plan at the end just seems random. They need new writers. Gameplay looks pretty good but the story is a continuation of the bad writing from MW2022.
