Black Adam was a decent film, not amazing, but was still fun. The running gag of catchphrase was alright, but Hawkman and Atom Smasher made me laugh. Hawkman: "You and me, when we get back to the ship." Atom Smasher: "Roger That!"
HISHE are amazing. The thing about the actual movie that bothered me, was Ishmael didn't even put the crown on his head, he was killed just holding it. On top of that, it disintegrated once he became Sabbac, which is silly, because the material it's made from is super rare and affects Black Adam, so why not wear it, or integrate it into his body somehow, so that he can hurt Black Adam. Also, why would you put all of your eggs in one basket, then destroy the very thing which created it? Why not let the crown survive, so that if this champion fails, they can try again? Also, when Ishmael transforms into Sabbac, shouldn't he have been on Hawkman's jet? He had an opportunity, right there and then to do some real damage before leaving for the Palace. Also, as great as Quintessa is, her character was pretty useless, she didn't do much.
Batman and no kill rule? Duh! In Batman vs Superman when he saves Superman's mom, he pretty much kills Lex's goons. At least the one with the flamethrower. 😁
No the "no kill rule" isn't SPECIFIC to Batman, all superheroes follow it to some degree, it isn't that "superheroes CAN'T kill", but the way in which Zaxk Snyder showing them kill is so brutal and unnecessary than MOST people had a problem with Zack Snyder's depiction of Batman's over the top brutality thinking it was "mature" and superman's brooding emo depress phase that he thought was "edgy".
