Is it bad to say I never saw Black Adam but watched the HISHE video for it anyway?
Nuh uh!
Batman tricking Adam into saying Shazam is not only comical but genius at the same time. It's satire and classic Batman intellect.
It's also how Black Adam was defeated in his first appearance back in the 1940s. It was good old "Uncle Marvel" who tricked Black Adam into saying the magic word. Teth-Adam was then punched by Captain Marvel and then his really old body shriveled up into dust and he was dead (until the 1970s when Dr. Sivana resurrected him).

To be fair, having her retrieve the crown makes sense from a bad guy perspective, making sure it wasn’t boobytrapped.
Er yeah. That makes sense. Old relics, especially tombs, tend to be full with those.
There is a reason that scientists need quite long time to work out pyramids.

I didn't see the movie but in the trailer a normal guy hits him with a crowbar and he flings him. That's like a toddler hitting me with a rattle and I punt him in the face (probably worse since the toddler might live).

This channel never disappoints. Whenever I see a show I think, that parts definitely gonna make it in the hishe. And here I am confirming it
My biggest problem with this movie was how Dr. Fate's powers just aren't supposed to work the way they made it work in this movie. Like his main thing isn't seeing into the future by touching the helmet, that's something he can do like once every now and then through powerful magic. Also, he doesn't just get to take the helmet on and off whenever he wants, it's a last resort thing where if he puts the helmet on he gives up control to Naboo and doesn't get to take it off without cost or reason. It could have been a big moment in the plot. He hasn't put on the helmet in many years and the cost of giving himself over to Naboo is too much for the current task at hand, then towards the end he gives up control to Naboo in order to save hawk man's life.
That was hilarious how Batman was setting up Black Adam to pronounce Shazam lol

Yeahh a mystical crown floating in the air under a beam of light in a cave of ancient ruins basically *wants* you to grab it, which would have tripped any treasure hunter’s “booby trap sense,” supposing that they had any desire for self-preservation.
more importantly crown itself is USELESS without Adam to activate it ... he could try tricking Shazam into killing himinstead but he needs to be killed by a Champion while in possession of the crown to cross over

I remember when HISHE went through the whole movie, now they spend about 80% of the time in the cafe when that used to be the closer to the episode…
Yeah, they must have not had many ideas for spoofs for this movie. Which I guess is a good thing? But I'm still rather disappointed by this. Great animation, though.

As soon as Dr. Fate went "Yes!" I knew what was coming. I do also wish you had hit the part at the end of the film where they undo the Comic Book shot. Still, always fun to see these.
