I honestly like the Magic Mouse - mostly for it's gestures and functionality. That said, there are 3 major things that could use improvement: 1. Ergonomics. Unless your hand is flat and tiny, it's just not very good to hold for more than an hour or so. 2. The polling rate. I believe it's only 90Hz. With a 60Hz screen it's fine, but anything higher that that and it feels sluggish. 3. Use USB-C charging. With the iPhone 15 series, now all major Apple products use USB-C to charge.
I agree but also 4 - the location of the charging port needs to be at the front not the underside and 5- lack of wheel button limits it with certain software/games and 6 - not having a dedicated right/second mouse button sucks . I don't need a touch surface on my mouse. So 7 - remove touch surface and give me a nice big aluminum mouse wheel with haptic feedback like the Rivian steering wheel one. It changes based on what you are controlling. 8 - put a glowing Apple logo on there (this isn't required but why not).

How do I stop the zooming everytime I move my. finger up/down on the mouse? Even when I release the mouse on some sites it zooms in or out... Frustrating!
I just had the idea to ask ChatGPT about this and this is what I got back: The Apple Magic Mouse II can sometimes zoom in or out unexpectedly due to specific gestures. Here are some common causes: Two-Finger Swipe: A two-finger swipe gesture can trigger zooming if "Smart Zoom" or other zoom options are enabled in the settings. Pinch Gesture: If the pinch-to-zoom gesture is enabled, accidental movements can lead to unintentional zooming. Tap with Two Fingers: If "Smart Zoom" is turned on, a double-tap with two fingers might zoom in or out on content. @@Spidouz depends on what youre calling design. if minimalism is the goal, then the mouse achieved your goal, but if youre going for usefullness then the mouse fails that part. But even if youre going for usefullness, it isnt something thats very bothering, and something that can be easily fixed: when you see it is only 50% or less, put it on charger after you use it, it doesnt take that much. Im not making excuses because i love everything that apple does, Im just saying that I think people put too much attention to this one detail as if it mattered. If you want the magic mouse because of the gestures and compatibility, then you shouldnt change your mind just because every once in a while you have to leave it on a charger, which like i said before is very preventable.

It rests awkwardly when being charged. That alone makes it a flawed product
The fact they put the charging port at the bottom of the the new (2024) apple mouse anyway is a big FU to their customers & shows they don't care but with the current leadership the mouse probably "identifies" as a fucking actual cat
Who in their right mind would buy a so-called Magic Mouse. The Logitech Anywhere MX 3S beats it hands down. The Logitech can also connect to three computers whether it be Windows or Apple!
Nothing magical about ot
The magic mouse looks like a cheap plastic toy made by Fisher Price.
The mouse is to thin and very uncomfortable to use.
Apple needs to redesign the magic mouse.
I will not be buying the magic mouse and going with a Logitech MX Master S3.
what is Apple going to do put a screen on the mouse? lol.
What’s your design?
@@bhagmeister definitely change where you connect to charge the mouse. It's stupid because you can't use it while it's charging.
@@johnguillen68 So you feel that looking at the battery status is too much? That you are in a Do or Die situation whether you go to check your social media connections? That’s tough. Wow.
@@bhagmeister What are you talking about? I'm simply saying that the connection to charge the mouse is in a bad location. Don't make it sound like I need SM to survive. I could care less about SM. I work on PS and Ai for hours and then I get that low battery signal. So the location of charging the mouse is in a bad location.
@@johnguillen68 Life’s a bitch
The Magic Mouse IS NO MOUSE, IT IS A COMBINATION OF MOUSE AND TRACKPAD.
You cannot compare a Logitech mouse which is a SPECIALIZED PRODUCT with a magic mouse that isn't.
Don't compare apples and oranges....
Dumb as hell charging. Absolutely inexcusable
Hands down the worst mouse EVER, I couldn’t give a flying fuck about the extra swiping features it has, the ergonomics of it explains itself but the CHARGING PORT??? Why on gods earth would you ever design a mouse that can’t be used for 15 minutes because it’s “charging” and the worst part is Apple won’t tell you when your mouse is going to die, so you could be doing work and boom just like that the 15 minute timer starts now. I don’t care what the excuses are and how you “won’t have to charge it for 3 months”Your literally Apple. You can access rocket science if you had to. I’m not that much into tech but I’m pretty sure a fucking mouse is a whole lot more simpler than rocket science. Apple used to give a fuck about their products and customers, but now it’s like they’re just toying with their customer’s loyalty.
it's only good to see a web site that is her best , nothing more
dont buy it , there only opition is she connect easly to your mac book nothig more
sorry for my english but she is so bad and i can't make other opinion
bro I own one and they need to go back to the drawing board with this. this is pure rubbish I use something else and get better results. stop attempting to convince people to buy this rubbish, shame on you
Well I can't I turn off this left and right rubbish?
wdym
I am not impressed to expensive
Magic Mouse is TRASH!! How did Apple get away with this horrible ergonomic disaster?! The charging system is about as useful as a beetle on its back trying to walk! Absolute garbage for a company the size of apple!
don't buy this mouse is tragic , when you want to play with simlpe game you through this mouse you brake this mouse on a wall
is wrong is tragic is slow and i don't have any thing good to say about it
Yeah ... Drink more of that Kool-aid !!
- It never really feel comfortable using it. Too low profile design, perhaps ? I spent my own $$ buying a Logictech Mouse rather than using this POS they had at work.
- Tactile is king !! I need buttons I can click, scrool wheel I can move. That's why gamers would choose physical contollers with actual buttons any times. I really think Humans prefer that natural force feedback feels than this gimmicky touch mouse.
