@Jeff Frye That´s not true. The majority of the Fans absolutely love both of the Games. They are both in nice contrast to each other and really complete and enrichen the SW Universe. KOTOR 1 with an extremely well written but more generic Star Wars, KOTOR 2 with a more unique, darker and more mature Star Wars. Together they result in the greatest pieces of Star Wars we have and probably will ever see, playing KOTOR 2 before KOTOR 1 is shitty anways. You need the 1st game for the 2nd game, otherwise your backstory and all the references don´t make any sense

Thank you so much for this. The soundtrack is amazing in its own, but music isn't just instrumentation, it's any organised sound, and this shows how much sounds other than common instruments can add to the music. The clinking of the droids, the zooming of the passing ships, the beeps of computer panels, and the low chattering of people and the tapping footsteps are so lulling even though they paint the picture of a busy city. Depression and anxiety have been two giant pains of my adult life, but these ambient videos get me through the hard times and help mellow me out when I'm at my worst. What I would give to experience this game for the first time again.

I find it very curious how time and evolving technology changes our perception of games. I remember playing KotOR when it was relatively new, and Taris felt like this massive, bustling city with all these people around and full of all these buildings. Nowadays it just feels like a dozen or so rooms connected by large corridors with a few NPCs walking up and down. KotOR has aged very well, but there are things like that (in it and a lot of older games) that newer games have spoiled forever.

Taris? Oh its like any city planet. Lots of Motion. Droids rolling along, People walking about, and Speeder racing across the sky. The Corporate world smashing into your own and the injustices that come with having skyscrapers block the nearest stars. But even so I'd sooner visit her than Coruscant. Why? Well...its going to sound silly. I feel Taris has a better soul than Coruscant. Like she's seen more and felt more than that Planet guarded within the core worlds. Her lights have faded and her steel mountains are mostly empty but she's still proof that that if you can make it in the outer rim you can make it anywhere.

Man it was so amazing as a child to enter this area for the first time . The beautiful graphics/city, the NPCs walking around, vehicles flying rhough the air making noise. This was the first time a video game world ever felt so alive to me. This game is a classic IMO , i really need to get my hands on an xbox so i can play it with the old controller scheme i played with as a kid.

It sure was great it all other respects, but a game in which you can stop and soak in the vibe of the environment, is really something special I hope we keep seeing in the future.

Watching this in 2020. I still remember playing this for the first time when I was in elementary school and being just blown away by everything! I'm 25 now and I was so desperate to play this again to see if that magical feeling would be the same that I installed it on my PC during quarantine. It's still amazing but the pc controls are much harder & now I remember why I could never finish this game. It's surprisingly very hard for a Star Wars game!! lol
