dude, what? the only enemies that are susceptible to madness are player characters and those that use their movesets, none of which are the frenzy-aligned enemies he's talking about. the reason they're immune to sleep is 100% due to the thematic dichotomy between sleep and madness, refer to Kale's cut quest for more info
For LORE, the reason frenzied enemies can’t sleep is because their eyes have been burned out of their sockets, now filled with the unrelenting Flame of Frenzy.

it is indeed a neat detail that the various crabs function with the "you are what you eat" thing, because it true. deathblight crabs will always have a bit of deathroots around. and if there is nothing special then you just have normal crabs that just shoot water.

The string grease doesn't last as long because it's applied more quickly and with less care, and there's probably less grease to apply as a result. So combine a wasteful and imprecise application with having less to apply in the first place, a quarter of the time is a little low but justifiable. 20 seconds would make more sense to me.
The zombies don't actually seem to be Those Who Live in Death. The new special twinblade in the DLC can charge its buff off of them. I think they're just the end point of zombification for all the zombie-ish old people in the Lands Between.

fun fact about the torch flames, I'm pretty sure the duration of the lingering flames on the ground is extended by Old Lord's Talisman needs further testing though, I remember testing it once a while ago

Dude, aside from the superb information within the channel, the amount and quality of humor in Limit Breaker channel is just insane. And no, I'm not being sarcastic.
i used the double sleep sword build for quite a while. since a lot of enemies just get a short stagger (which you don't get a riposte out of), it's really better as a sidearm used situationally. especially now that it's nerfed. kinda fun and cool tho for a while. i did not know that the dual slashes sometimes wakes up the enemy instantly. explains so much.
