good tip for gear meshing is running piece of paper between spur and pinion gears when the pinion is loose then tightening it down, that ensures good meshing

I got a system for one of my rc cars and within the first week with the 3500 system the braided wires broke so I went to my local hobby shop and we used heat shrink to fix it. Over the past weekend I went to the track and I didn’t even get to the jumps and the heat tube came loose and made my motor go up in smoke

I had a traxxas and i broke an axel pretty bad but its fixed now.
So I have slash 1/16 scale and a couple weeks ago the motor seized but I blew it out and apparently there was dirt in it but now there is sound in it like idk it’s weird and it doesn’t allow me to be atleast 15 feet away from my car and it will stop and I gotta get closer
Hi, if i wanna convert my slash in to a monster slash do i need to swap out the stock motor? Or can I just switch the gearing?
If you get bigger tires you'll need a lower gear ratio

I had a friend that got a traxxas for his 8th birthday and at the time in his life he loved taking things apart so he took the traxxas apart and couldn't put it back together and ended up throwing it away. He is now 14 and realizes how stupid he was. lol

Keith Dockter I would just save my money and get the new e revo or a tmaxx if you want a nitro
Lil wheelie as much as I enjoy nitro, erevo would be a better truck since it electric and no hassle of nitro engine. And you get better performance out of the box.
I have a rustler xl-5. Hopefully I can upgrade the rustler

what to do if your esc dont blink/light and can't drive forward and backward
Might be the motor, the pinion gear, or the spur gear if the model can’t drive forward and backward and if the ESC isn’t turning on after plugging in a full battery you know is good it might be that the ESC is fried
I bought 4 Traxxas 3889 tires within the last month. Drove them a minimum of 1 hr, left rear rim shattered and I was only running it across a puddle in my back yard. I paid $92.00 for them and only got 1 hr playtime with them. And Hobbytown won't replace it.
That isn't supposed to happen. I have 8+ year old tires and they are still usable just the glue is coming undone.

Can anyone help me with tire options on my mini slash? I'd like to know if i can get paddle tires for it.
A . I just wanted new grippy tires for easy travel across loose sand mud and dirt. The stock tires cant do anything fun.

A. Thanks. But put traxxas wheel extentions on the mini slash steering block and put the mini e-revo tires on them so i dont ruin the turn radius or suspention travel.

BUT If you're new to RC some of these are unknown yet vital. Like ensuring the lipo voltage cutoff is on when using lipos. Any one new to RC might miss this and end up with their new buggy in flames at the end of their first drive. Hope that makes sense. This video covers a wide variety of topics that those new to RC may not know

“You should always set the gear mesh correctly” yeah because I’m just gonna set it so the gears aren’t even touching and then go run it... all of these are just normal things you do to run an rc.. no “tricks” here lol 😂

I just got mine I’m soo excited but scared to break it
I have had one for 3 years and it still works. Dont be scared to break it, it takes alot of ramming in to stuff to break.
I have an e revo and it breaks all the time. It’s an expensive hobby so if you have the cash and the know how then breaking it will mean you get to play with it on the workbench👍🏼

Wltoys 144001 and HBX Hailstorm are great choices for beginners and tight budgets.
