welcome back my friend! i saw gang of 4 around solid gold. at the commodore in Vancouver Canada I was drenched in sweat by the 3rd song. not mine andy gills. he was soaked head to foot. his pants were wrapped around his legs. never seen anything like it since. cheers!.
Really like the new location George, looks fantastic. I’ve never heard they Gang Of Four or see it, will keep my eyes peeled. I’ve always loved that Dexys, especially side 2. I actually prefer it to the debut. Glad you discovered it
Cheers mate - I tend to switch between the man cave here and the breakfast bar depending on mood! Better late than never on Dexys. Eyes peeled for a debut. Not a rare one but I just cannot locate in the wild at the moment. I'm sure it'll turn up.
Thanks for the video George. You had some good listening there. The first three Jonesy albums are great (not so sure about the fourth)- No Alternative is my favourite. Nice to see you mentioning Formerly Fat Harry- another really good album especially the final track. All the best.
Some nice records George. Will keep my eyes open for several of them. Cheers.
Informative as always George, lots to look into and try ta very much.
Thank you young man!
Dexys ‘Don’t stand me down” is worth a listen too. ‘This is what she’s like” is a stone cold classic.
I have Don't Stand Me Down, but it never quite gripped me. However after enjoying the earlier two albums, it's due a revisit for certain.

Thanks David. Pleased to hear you are a fan of FF Harry. It does not get the attention it deserves.
