I’ve always had a thing for record labels. As a kid I loved the maroon and black Pye label and Major Minor. For me one of the best and most iconic is the green and brown Atlantic label. Always wish we had the US Motown label rather than the black Tamla Motown one. Great video! Cheers !
I definitely agree labels are an important part of the pleasure of record collecting. Love the Fontana logo and that American Decca label is very nice too.
I love the simple label designs just as much as the fancy colorful ones. The yellow epic label is just iconic and instantly recognizable, I always loved it for some reason. Same with the blue verve label and the gold elektra label. UNI is definitely one of my favorite designs as well. Westbound is a great label design as well. I could go on and on about this list. Maybe I'll make my own video haha, our lists would be quite different because of where we are from!

It has to be the elephant in the room.. VERTIGO.... for me. So iconic.. I also love some of the krout rock labels , Brain 🧠 is a great label. Great video man 👍✌️
Nice showing of labels, George. I also like the Island Records labels, particularly the 'bulls eye'. I have Tull's Stand Up on the Island pink-black-block i label that you showed on the Scrapbook album. Of course, the reggae 7" on the numerous Jamaican labels are something else!
Chrysalis has always been mine for sentimental reasons ( especially on a clear vinyl record), but there are some fantastic labels out there, from the classic swan song logo to bloc party 7”s. Special mention to the early Iron Maiden labels.
Love that co-presenter! Some very decorative labels on display here. I believe Kapp were distributed by Decca here in the UK. I think I have a Burt Bachrach LP on the label. I don't know f jazz is your thing but Impulse originals are quite astonishing.
US Decca was always my favorite!! Fun fact (or maybe not): Back in the early 70s, when people were still stacking LPs on the console stereos (or radiograms), it seemed to be a fad that the album at the top of the stack was a Decca. Interesting video, mate!
Great video George. As a committed CD person one thing I miss are those visually appealing record label designs (although sometimes get them in miniature). You well deserve 1K subscribers!
There are lots of label designs I love, but the two ones that always come first to mind are the Polydor label and the black Mercury label with the big white oval on top. I have on Imgur a collage of my favorite record labels that I'd love to share here, but TH-cam doesn't seem to like hyperlinks in comments.

Hello George - I’m the guy who continues to suggest you take a moment to listen to Pandora “space Amazon” recorded ‘74 / released ‘97. Also worth a spin, the group Silver “children of the lord “ Just fantastic rock I’m more of a proggy psych person, but these two bands deserve mention. Very good examples of obscure 70’s guitar oriented rock. Take care -
I think this one did the rounds a few years ago, but who cares!..always good to see cool revord labels..nice to see Pegasus, i'm lucky to have a few of those including Shirley Collins No Roses. I have a few on Fly too, including some of those Toofas. I may jump on this one. Nice job George.
labels are integral to record collecting .a few of mine. UNI in Canada ( Elton john, most notably ). warner bros, Burbank label. transatlantic, uk folk label. Capitol, "rainbow ' label i always liked the Island, " desert island label. the pink " I " on the help label looked a little subliminal to me... cheers.

The simple designs can be great. Verve is a good choice, both in Blue for USA and black here in the UK.

Good idea for a video- I’m a big Morrissey fan and he has resurrected loads of vintage label designs throughout his solo years

Mercury is a good one, agreed. Nice layout and logo.
Love the Fly and Pegasus labels. In addition my favs include Neon and Bacillus for obvious reasons as they had some fantastic releases.

My favourite record labels are the Straight Record labels of Alice Cooper's first three albums.
