    Put my old RCA speakers face down on the floor for this song. College Co-Ed Dorm was such that my "on again off again "boyfriend" was in the bedroom directly below mine.

    Sang this song with the band Head Wind in 1978-1980. Brings back a lot of memories singing at Johnson's Barn in Arthur, ND. Sadly three members of the band are no longer with us, Mark, Steve and Johnny.

    Always loved the bass to this song...made me want to stomp on the gas and hit 120. And his voice still sounds the same after 40 years.

    • @DavidNorthrup
      @DavidNorthrup  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Live arrangements much of the time differ from recorded versions. This arrangement was very consistent the entire 2017 tour… I think Boz was very comfortable with this adjustment from the original

      @@DavidNorthrup thanks for the reply. There are videos on TH-cam of live versions in which he does wait past the intro to come in. Was just curious as to whether there was a specific reason or if he just likes to switch it up. It's such a brilliant song that captures something that everyone has experienced at some point in their life.
