No I ended up sucking frozen sludge into the turbo.. I pulled everything apart and cleaned everything with break cleaner. Then I ran drain hose down from the can so I can drain it every couple days without pulling the car apart to get to it.. My turbo has about a 100K on it so I do get some smoke out of the tail pipe in the winter's until the car warms up! But in the summer their is no smoke so I am not to worried about it.. I have been looking at new cars and project cars but it's just the wrong time right now to try and go out and buy a car right now weather used or new.. Everything is marked up..
No smoke on deceleration, But I ended up moving the catch can into the engine bey, so it would warm up with the motor.. I had issues with Carbon/sludge N Water/condensation, it the catch lines in the winter. When it would go below 22 degree's F at night I would have issue cause the can was in the wheel well far from the Motor. And the Can and Half the Lines would be frozen solid. Anyway this winter coming up is 2 years and 10K later, I just hit 105,640 on the clock and it's summer now.. But moving it into the engine bey was needed plus it makes it easy to get to it. I didn't realize how often it needs to be drained and cleansed.. The Hidden Can was a great Idea from FR if you live in Florida, Atlanta, or someplace where they don't get real winter's it's a perfect place to put it.. But if you live somewhere where it can freeze, you will want to keep it in the engine bey so it warms up with the motor. If it's a really cold Morning I will dump it and spray everything and into the hose's and elbow's with brake cleaner for better air flow before even starting my car now. But the Can and Lines were Frozen and that's where all the smoke came from last year. Thanks so much for watching. I have been filming with my phone n I'm trying to pay more attention to camera placement. I have a Front Bottom spoiler I will be putting on this weekend.. Thanks for watching.. I will make a vid once I get all the hardware in and finish painting it..
So Far So good with the STP Treatment, I'm going to do the treatment again in 2 months and then every 6 months from here on out..
At this point I am just trying to keep her looking newish and get another 2 years out her if I can..
So you have smoke on deceleration?
