hi Great video. I have a 2008 722.9 behind my 350 CGI V6. W219. It drops firmly into top gear especially when I lift my foot off the accelerator. I replaced filter and oil. No metal found. Still have same issue. No codes came up. I just bought the car and all other gears are super smooth. A couple of questions. 1. Can I ship the conductor plate to you should it be the problem? 2) Turn around time? 3. Can you send back to Malaysia? I have "reprogrammed" the TCU as I'm the new driver. Much obliged, thanks. Mark

I have a 2007 S550 that the water cooler failed on. I replaced the water cooler and the radiator. I have flushed the transmission several times and the car drove decent. Every now and then RPMs would raise until the Transmission kicked in. ( Every now and then) I changed the fluids once more now the car won't go into drive. Reveres, neutral and park all work fine! I have changed the solenoids but have the same response, no forward. I can heard the module change the gear but it just won't go forward. Thoughts ???

Deze things r very fragile n complicated. Mine is faulty right now, it selects into reverse, park and neutral gear but not drive and if forced by pressing the accelerator pedal on high engine rpm, it will seize up your engine, leaving u in a bigger mess and expenses. M about to change mine now

Was able to rebuild the engine n tho, it has a camshaft tapping noise, also ended up changing the entire transmission and vgs plate with an expensive programming done to the new vgs plate to match the new tranny and engine brainbox. @@ukaszjurys2475 I read somewhere that if you have too much oil it can cause this error. Checked my oil level and it was high. Did an oil change and made sure I did stayed between the low and high. Error message gone away for 2,000 miles.

What would be a rough cost of a rebuild? At the moment the only issue i have is a slight jerk going down the box from 4th to 3rd and particularly 3rd to 2nd. Up changes seem fine. Hi there. I have w212 7G Tronic with harsh shifting. Did scans, but we found no fault code on the TCU. The oil level is also ok. A trans software update and adaptation was done and after that the there was an improvement. However the shift is still not as smooth as it should be. A friend advised me to update the engine software as well. Any thoughts on this?

🇵🇹My Mercedes A180 D, automatic transmission, has an extremely uncomfortable symptom. After the start/stop acts, when starting off there is a “jolt” or sudden movement that, in addition to being uncomfortable for the driver's neck, makes parking maneuvers extremely difficult and dangerous! I delivered the car to Mercedes with the aforementioned complaint and saying that this problem had not occurred before. It came into existence after a review with a gearbox oil change at Mercedes. At Mercedes they told me that there is no defect in the gearbox or clutch. And this feeling is normal! My advice is, don't buy the Mercedes A 180D and if you already have one, wait because one of these days you will suffer from this sudden crash not recognized by Mercedes🤨!!!

I keep getting code "U0402 - Invalid Data received from TCU" And occasionally every single light on my dash turns on and does a lovely light show full of beeping and al sorts of other warning noises. ESP, DSR, ABS, pre-safe, drive to shop without changing gear, blind spot monitoring defective, the list goes on. I can clear out all codes, but the only one that comes back right away when i start the vehicle is the U0402 2011 ML 350 bluetech With only 61k miles.

Electric gearbox pump is not working which controls start stop as well wondering if this has something to do with it

if you mean programming the new plate , there's tow ways to do that, 1st by attracting the file from the old plate via obd scanning tools and then move it to the new one , the second way if you haven't communication whith the old plate because its totally damaged and can't be seen by obd scanning tools, you need an online coding or by mb dealer

What would be a rough cost of a rebuild? At the moment the only issue i have is a slight jerk going down the box from 4th to 3rd and particularly 3rd to 2nd. Up changes seem fine. Do I wait till it gets worse, as I don't want to spend money on something that may not even be the problem.
No fault codes on ecm.

Have you checked the transmission fluid level and when was the last time this was changed? We would recommend getting a proper diagnostic at a garage if the jerking is a constant issue and the transmission fluid is good, as it could be a sign of an issue which could get worse if ignored. If the diagnostic can rule everything else out other than a problem with the Transmission ECU, then we can help you out with that. Hello I think I am having some problems with my w221 Mercedes. It's just happened 3 times in the same day. First 2 times I had no power and the gearshift was different (manual mode disabled). After restarting the car everything was great. The third time instead I had check engine light on but I had the power and the gearshift was ok. So I decided having a test and this is what I had:
- target gear signal implausible 722200
- transmission ratio implausible 722300

Hi there. I have w212 7G Tronic with harsh shifting. Did scans, but we found no fault code on the TCU. The oil level is also ok. A trans software update and adaptation was done and after that the there was an improvement. However the shift is still not as smooth as it should be. A friend advised me to update the engine software as well. Any thoughts on this?

I did another transmission software update but I still have the problem. Not sure how to deal with it yet.

The problem could be on the hydrolic side of the transmission.I am suffering a same problem as you,there is no fault code either scanner or dashboard.My one's problem is harsh downing from 5th to 4th,also delaying for gearing down...

🇵🇹My Mercedes A180 D, automatic transmission, has an extremely uncomfortable symptom. After the start/stop acts, when starting off there is a “jolt” or sudden movement that, in addition to being uncomfortable for the driver's neck, makes parking maneuvers extremely difficult and dangerous!
I delivered the car to Mercedes with the aforementioned complaint and saying that this problem had not occurred before. It came into existence after a review with a gearbox oil change at Mercedes.
At Mercedes they told me that there is no defect in the gearbox or clutch. And this feeling is normal!
My advice is, don't buy the Mercedes A 180D and if you already have one, wait because one of these days you will suffer from this sudden crash not recognized by Mercedes🤨!!!
I have a 2010 E350 and when i start the car and put it on Drive I can go 15 minutes driving and when im going to a stop it goes back to Park by it self it does it in Reverse too and sometimes in Park doesn’t want to go in gear it goes back and forward from gears please help thanks.

I have the same issue, reverse not working, gears 2 4 6 only work, not sure if I should try rebuilding conductor, haven’t done oils change or any updates on transmission yet so trying to find what worked for others.
@@FaizolAli-j1l changed the valve body and clutches yet the problem still remained so ended up changing the whole gearbox Try getting a oil change and readapt the gearbox if ur lucky that will fix everything if not u wont be able to drive ur car at all Is the car always stuck in limp mode?
I keep getting code "U0402 - Invalid Data received from TCU"
And occasionally every single light on my dash turns on and does a lovely light show full of beeping and al sorts of other warning noises. ESP, DSR, ABS, pre-safe, drive to shop without changing gear, blind spot monitoring defective, the list goes on.
I can clear out all codes, but the only one that comes back right away when i start the vehicle is the U0402

@@Ecutestinglimited yes the codes I had up was knock sensor, camshaft sensor which I have replaced both and there is no lights coming up on the dash now and also further investigation. Electric gearbox pump is not working which controls start stop as well wondering if this has something to do with it
Hi. We have no seen those fault symptoms being caused by a failing 7G-Tronic, so it is likely another fault somewhere on the vehicle.

Who would test a gearbox for faults before sending it out to u...how are codes read
Hi. Fault codes can be read by plugging a diagnostic tool into your OBD2 port and scanning the vehicle for fault codes. This can be done by a mechanic at any reputable garage and depending on the unit at fault or vehicle manufacturer, you may want to go to a specialist to get these read, e.g. a Transmission specialist or a Mercedes specialist. You can also do this yourself if you buy a code scanner/reader for your vehicle.

Hi I have Mercedes E350 model 2014 and I changed the gear chip, but I did not succeed in programming the chip, and now the car does not move. How is the process of programming the chip for gear? Are supposed to go to the agency for the Mercedes to do that or can it be done via the computer? Please advise and thank you.
if you mean programming the new plate , there's tow ways to do that, 1st by attracting the file from the old plate via obd scanning tools and then move it to the new one , the second way if you haven't communication whith the old plate because its totally damaged and can't be seen by obd scanning tools, you need an online coding or by mb dealer
