Wow great video SMH 🤦🏾♂️ I don't know why I didn't think to look up gear indicator reset, I first brought the cheap $15 one but after a month stop working so I bought for $52 with a bracket and about 6 months it stop working. I was JUST about to order a new one then I thought to look up "reset" and as soon as I seen the first 5 second I know this video will help. NOTE: DONT BE LIKE ME AND WATCH 5 SECOND OF IT THEN JUMP OUT THE BED AND RUN TO THE BIKE. WATCH TO THE END AND DO IT CORRECTLY 🤣🤣🤣 THANK YOU

Thank you!! I bought the generic Chinese version of this and the instructions were really bad. I couldn't get it in the programming mode. It said to do it 5 times. 6 worked 👍

Best fucking thing ever...Thank you so much.!!! I was on the street trying to keep up with traffic tryin to program and it wouldn't work. I noticed you were just barely above idle and I did the same. I just reset it on a lonely long road and took off ....went slowly and it worked for all the gears exactly as yours. Boom!

I have a question I live in the city so I don't have a road like that and yes we have highways but I am not fond of them so that option is out but in your video it looks like your going slow or are you doing 60 on gear 6 I am not a speed demon lol because I bought the healtech about a year ago and nobody wants to mess with it they tell me it takes to long to set up
An update on mine I had my friend take my bike on the highway and now my healtech is working but we did have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to restart from the beginning we tried the turning of the key but it didn't want to start from the beginning

Initially, my indicator only shows 0, 1 and stuck at 1 when I changed to higher gears.
With your video, I managed to make it work but the "0" (Neutral) now become "-".

I have 2 indicators in different motorcycle...
Both problems initially happened when there was a clutch slip in high RPM due to mis-setting of clutch cable. Then it showed only 0 and 1

Mine will not reset after 6x the ignotion off and on and it only counts until 4 every time. Idk what i am doing wrong :(
@@akta01 i complained on ali expres and i did get a new one. Now my first display did show the correct gears only could not reset. I did not installed the new one yet. As long as i do not have to reset i will let the first one in operation.

Hi Marco, I have the same problem, I checked your video and I am at stage L is flashing. Then I start riding and above 3000 rpm the 1 is flashing, so that is OK. But I tried several time to reach the 2nd gear but no success. I tried slowly, between 3-4000 rpm. I tried hard, pulling till 7000 rpm, nothing. That O sign in your vide didn't appear after the flashing 1. Do you have any idea what can be the problem?

You have to be in the first gear until the 1 stops blinking, a ( n ) appears briefly and then put the 2 gear in until it stops blinking.
you must try more times from time to time. try it.
Check the plug if all pins make correct contact.

Hello I bought the same indicator but learn the 3rd gear wrongly, so it shows 4 gear while I ride with 3. After 5-6 turn on and turn of it doesn't show L mode. How can I learn it again from beginning? Thanks in advance!

You have to do it like in the video maybe with 5 or 6 times up to the reset and then when it shows L again don't drive too fast constantly straight out. try it every module is different for the reset. marco
@@MarcuttiMarco I did it absolutely the same way like in the video, but it doesn't return to L mode, so I can not reset it. Is there another way to fix it? Thanks!
@@akta01 Yeah I've got the same problem resetting one of these too. Tried with the key, tried using the engine kill switch which also kills the gauge, and even directly at the plug. Simply refused to reset, and I'm thinking these are just cheap, defective units.

Hi I have a problem, i just bought one of these indicators i connected it, the very first time i started the engine it shown just an F! What should i do? I reconnected the cables and it still does that?! Pls help?!
Are you in neutral when you turn it on because mine said F when I am and then when your in 1st gear or start in first gear the number show up
@@paulinenash783 hi yes i was in neutral, i manage to get it working by trying out all the combinations of the cables until i found the right one, then i just started the engine and it already knew the gears, didnt have to do the learning session

Hi, meiner blinkt beim starten das L schnell anschließend zeigt es mir die 1 an, aber es blinkt nur noch langsam anstatt so wie bei dir im Video schnell. Es bleibt langsam blinkend bei 1 stehen, statt N und auf 2 zu wechseln wegen anlernen.
Was habe ich falsch gemacht ?

Versuche den Reset nochmals und dan mit warmen motor langsam gleichmäsig fahren wie im video. man brauch machmal ein paar versuche. viel erfolg marco

@@MarcuttiMarco ich werde es mal versuchen, bis jetzt leider kein Erfolg trotz Reset. Aber danke für die Rückmeldung. An der Verkabelung habe ich soweit nichts falsches gemacht..
@@ksieciunio18 leider besteht das Problem immer noch, Verkabelung ist ja kein Hexenwerk, verstehe es dennoch nicht woran es liegt.. Wenn's irgendwann mal klappen sollte, werde ich es dir Berichten

After the fifth training process was over, I just continued driving without changing gears. "6" appeared on the display, but then returned to "5" and everything was OK.
