It's so weird to me how some people speak about Van Dijk. His first season back from injury he was one of Liverpools best players and the team went for the Quadruple. Yes last season he wasn't good he's even admitted that himself but this season he's been good, people just want to talk about the little things that happens to everyone because of last season.

This is the first time I watched a Chelsea segment and i enjoyed it as a chelsea fan all the times i hear disrespect or casual takes even though you didnt watch our games big up faysal he described our problems in a great way and highligted my issues with poch if you dont have a chelsea representative faysal should be on because he is the only one in the pod that doesn’t speak with bias and narratives on chelsea

Even as a neutral and a fan of the game, Nkunku going down was tough. I really wanted to see him, one of my favorite players when he was at Leipzig. As mad as it sounds, he is their best player and the one that unlocks that full system. Yes pep built a system but you can’t deny it took time. You need your players to go on a run, gain momentum and get experience in that system and then you can bring on players that can fit in.
I want to hear more about Liverpools performance. A lot of players are being slept on like Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Diaz, Salah, Robbo etc.. but when they lose everyone watched every single minute and breaks down the losses.

As an Everton fan: everyone keeps saying we have such an awful squad (and I agree that it isn’t great) but it’s no where near as bad as everyone says. We have played well in so many games but just haven’t been taking our chances, but now that we have Beto we haven’t had to rush DCL back so quickly - allowing him to come back fully fit - and both of them looked great against Brentford and hopefully they can carry on to do so. If we can take half of the big chances we create I am confident we will not go down

I swear zinchenko was one of the better players for Arsenal during the NLD. Nothing happened from his side and had the most balls into the final third.

One thing I will say about Chelsea and their injuries is that Boehly was asking for something like this to happen with his transfer policy. If you buy a bunch of 19-24 year olds, who might have 1-3 years of senior football experience, and you place them into the most physically demanding leagues with the highest standard of training, you’re going to get injuries like crazy. There’s a reason why clubs look at players with clean injury records over the course of 4-5 years alongside youngster wonderkids

Even under Tuchel, most their goalscorers were CB’s, Christensen, Rudiger, Reece James etc. Chelsea need that 1/2 attackers that guarantee numbers. That’s why I think they should have bought Szoboszlai or Wirtz last summer for the no. 10 role. I feel like Nkunku could be that player but we won’t know until he comes back. They need a star like when they had Hazard.
