    Draft Suggestion: 11 XI
A draft where everyone has to complete a team based off players who wore the numbers 1-11, using each number.
So many possibilities with picks, but could also narrow it down to 11 XI per league, so players who wore 1-11 that played in the Prem etc

Between the quarterfinal and final of the ucl they scored 13 goals and conceded only one. They won the bundesliga so comfortably and went relatively unchallenged in the dfb pokal. Important goals for Uruguay in the World Cup and Copa America. Common it's not even close. Cavani isn't just a bulldozer like Costa. He has a soft touch aswell. A complete striker. Edinson Cavani. @jordy6144-d9t 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

I mean obviously it can't get better than beating all 'champions'.
If you use that as a metric and base it of off their domestic league form.
However looking into it deeper, Man City and PSG really weren't favourites going into that years ucl.
Even Juventus in the final was quiet unexpected to be fair.
However that 2015 Barca team didn't face any of the finalists (Real-Atletico) from te year prior for example.
Which you can also see as an indecator of what a good european team would be.
That 2009 Barca team for example faced BOTH prior finalists and Bayern in the KO stage.
Or 2022 Real Madrid, they had to face:
      - PSG in last 16
      - Chelsea in quarters (the reigning champions)
      - Man City in semi's (favourites to win the ucl + finalists the year prior + probably best team in the world)
      - Liverpool in final (Premier league champions + considered best team in the world at the time, alongside City)
There is an objective list made, basing it off UEFA coefficients of the teams they played.
Obviously this has flaws aswell, but it's atleast some numeric metric to hold onto.

9:40 facts, so tired of hearing that terrible take. Italy were frustrating the hell out of France with their defence just like Italy did to Germany in the previous round. I'll have you know Italy ended up beating Germany 2-0 in that game. On the day of the final, it just seemed destined for Italy to win. Apart from Zidane's amazing pen, France were just not gonna be able to penetrate that defence. The fact that people think that France would have won just because they were playing a more attractive style of football is crazy. It might not have been pretty but it was most certainly effective and it won Italy the World Cup.

Lyes is bugging for saying that Starplayer wouldn't be able to give him Cavani's best season in his career. There truly is only one answer to that question, and that Cavani at PSG in 2017. The man had 35 league goals and 4 assists. He also had 8 goals and 1 assist in the Champion's League. Cavani was top goal scorer in Ligue 1, player of the year in Ligue 1, won the French Cup, French League Cup, and won the French Super Cup all in the 16-17 season.

Falcao's peak was not only 12-13. It was 2011-2013.
Also Faysal made a mistake. Falcao never had under 30 goals for Atletico. He had 36 in 11-12 and 34 in 12-13 and in his last season with Porto (10-11) he had 38 out of which a mind boggling 17 were in the Europa league.
Actually he won back to back Europa titles with Porto and Atletico having 17 and 12 goals in each campaign.
He was a better finisher tham Van Persie at his peak, had better movement and was a better dribbler.

    1. Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Argentina. (Can’t remember much about that Italy team apart from the names)
    2. Wilshere, James, Pogba, Isco, Gotze. ( Wilshere had the ability to start at many top clubs. James proved at Everton and Bayern there’s talent there but he couldn’t do it consistently. Pogba and Isco ended up being decent players but I expected Yaya Toure out of Pogba and i expected a Zidane style out of Isco)
    3. Barca 2009, Inter 2010, Barca 2015, Man City 2023, Bayern 2013. (Barca style of play was just dominant, Inter’s route was sooo tough and the way they one was so passionate. Barca 2014/15 consisted of the greatest front three and fluid. 3 superstars all working together. )
    4. Van Persie, Costa, Cavani, Falcao, Higuain. ( the question should’ve been all time body work) (Cavani and Higuain had a long peak. Costa had a fair peak. RVP had an inconsistent, injury riddled but great peek. Falcao’s peak was incredibly short. Peak is a hard question)

italy 2006 vs germany 2014 is no debate - 2006 WC as a whole was better yes, but france, brazil even germany were better teams than italy that year (if France had won in 06 btw, potentially number 1 on the list). And even then, Italy had arguably the easiest route to the semis, and needed more than 90 min to beat both Germany and France in the semis/final. Meanwhile Germany were comfortably the best team throughout the 2014 tournament. Cannot forget the European team to win a WC in South America, and they were a machine in the 7-1 victory. Idk if Italy ever had the ceiling the 2014 Germany team did in terms of team performance.

12:43 no it was 4-3. And thats the thing. Argentina at one point in the game, right after half-time, had a 1-2 lead and then Benjamin Pavard scored that brilliant goal. Then a brace from Mbappe put France 4-2 up and then Sergio Aguero headed in to score.
