- We're back with episode 2 of a brand new concept that you may be familiar with called Would I Lie To You: Football Edition! The rules of this game are simple: each player has two statements related to a football category-one statement they’ve personally written and one statement provided by our producers. Their goal is to convincingly present either statement as true while the other participants try to discern the real from the fake. Play along in the comments below!

Faysal genuinely made me believe he was serious
Currently there is incentive for a player to make a weak argument to trick the opposition, where it becomes more about mind ganes than football opinions. Instead could a player get 1 point for each member of the group they convince of their true statement, and 2 if they convince them of their false statement. Simultaneously each guesser can get 1 point for agreeing with a true statement, and 2 for calling out a lie, and -1 for calling it wrong.
I may have typed out alot but a simple scoring graphic can make it really easy for us to understand and keep up, and would also increase the drama and focus on football opinion.

Great idea but they would have to implement a way to visualize it for the audience instead of reading it out. I think if they do that and also add a time limit for each round, then this already good video idea goes up to a whole new level.

I think Busquets has a greater legacy due to everything he has won, but if we`re talking about how complete a player is Rodri is the more complete player, while he is a worse controller of games and he is a worse playmaker then Busquets, Rodri is absolutely elite at that, But Rodri can create issues physically in a way that Busquets never could, and he is bigger threat going forwards, Rodri can fulfill every single role in the midfield, Busquets is a greater deep lying playmaker then Rodri, and i think Busquets has a higher footballing IQ, then Rodri.
Carvajal isn`t going to win the ballon d`or, Rodri when he plays does never lose, Carvajal isn`t even a top 3 player at Madrid currently, That Carvajal take is the worst take in footballing history, it`s up their with Rory`s Haaland take.
That Saka take was somehow even worse then the Carvajal take. Saka has never scored 20 goals in a season, and Salah has won both the PL and CL, Saka might win the PL, but Arsenal ain`t ever winning the CL.

The issue Busquets has is this, IF you take out Busquets from that 2009-2012 Spain and Barca teams and put in this version of Rodri, they win EXACTLY the same, City don't win a UCL or a couple of league titles with Busquets in that team. Rodri is way more complete than Busquets. Better final passer, as good defensively, better at shooting. Rodri works in any system, any era under any great manager, Busquets doesn't. He needs certain things and play styles to work. Like you cant put Busquets in 90s Man United or 05 Chelsea because I don't think he'd be as good as Makalele or Keane for those teams, Rodri would be just as good.
Also the fact that he always gets clutch goals in the toughest situations. Crazy
