the natural evolution of every nerevarine: from walking and exploring slowly on foot; to jumping, teleporting, and fast traveling across vvardenfell at insane speed
I didn’t appreciate it on my first play through, but the Cavern of the Incarnate is one of the most beautiful moments in the story for me. I really do feel reverence for the spirits there. They’re labelled as “failed incarnates” but each one of them played a role and tried to do their duty. I love reading their stories and feeling part of something important about both freedom and spirituality that has become as much myth as it is reality. The items they provide aren’t godkilling equipment, but they represent the humble journey of the Nerevarine and are a little slice of their own unique quests. I keep all those items in a little shrine in the corner of my my house. And I keep a unique save in the cavern so I can go there whenever I want.
I never got into the Caver at base game because it was one of the more DEEPLY bugged areas that even console commands couldn't get through?! It's a primary contender against Vivc City.
Just a tip If you can avoid the sleepers as much as possible and keep from killing them, they will be of benefit to you later. Also as much as possible try to max up your attributes when leveling up or you're in for some struggles down the road. Train up misc skills, that won't add to your progress for the next level but will contribute to multipliers. Maybe you know this already. But whenever I see people play Morrowind and not max out those multipliers I remember the struggle...
16:03 What I like most about Morrowind is how they took the concept of "Daedric armor is rare" very seriously. There are only two ways to get her in the game, either you kill Divaith Fyr and steal it from him, or the coolest method, you find the pieces on the map
Shift is your default sprint button, and athletic increase movespeed and acrobatics increase jumpspeed, but hoptoad is so funny I wish it was used in more games. Each got pros and cons 😂
OMG the nightmare of Kogoruhn, I remember that, my least fav quest...Also, if you approach "uncle Crassius" while being a member of the Hlaaluu house, he'd ask you to undress in order to get his vote😅
He did that to me once when I asked him to sponsor me in Hlaaluu. After I undressed he was like "Yes, you'll do." All I could think was "I need an adult."
@@ABardsBallad You need a very strong soul with 5000 points to get the "Constant" option or it won't be available. Best and respawnable ones are Golden Saints, but they are horrors in their own right with only Morrowind pros capturing them without heavy damage. Awakened Sleepers/Squid Faces and Dagoth's are good too but do NOT respawn!
Just got recommended you channel yesterday, I enjoy your content. Here's a tip: If you skill up your acrobatics skill, you won't need the slow fall spell.
Also increasing Athletics skill will increase how fast you run (not that much, but it does). You can install a mod to uncap your skill levels meaning you can go past 100, and break the game by traveling across the map in a single leap.
A couple things I always tried to do in my level ups is to put 1 point in to luck since it doesn’t ever get any bonus multipliers (one of my playthroughs I did a custom class specifically so I could start out with the highest possible luck) and to try to get a 5x multiplier on the other 2 attributes I was upgrading. It requires carefully planning which of your skills you train per level but one of the good things about sleeping to level up is that you can save before doing so then check to see what your multipliers are and go train some minor skills in the ones you want to use to raise them higher before doing so. One of the good things about Morrowwind is that can do unlimited training with NPCs per level and if there's an attribute in one the lower ranked skills that is also associated with a major skill it can be trained cheaply. So for example you can train heavy and medium armor to boost your endurance to improve spear usage. Note: I've only ever played the Xbox version of the game without the expansions so some of my experience is different (such as never having the Dark Brotherhood attack me) and it's also been a couple years since I played through so I might be misremembering some of the terminology.
Superb as always. Don't rush just the main quest though: the game is immensely rich in good side quests (as you've experienced already) and I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to watch you make videos on them!
Hey man, I'm relatively new to your channel but just wanted to say I look forward to each an every upload. I love these games and I really enjoy the way you script and format your videos, especially the little lore nuggets and other paths you pull out and explore
Maybe it helps: I think the mark and recall spell would be just what you'd like. You can set a waypoint with "Mark" basically everywhere, even indoors and return there whenever you want with "Recall". The only caveat is that you only can have one waypoint at a time and casting mark again overwrites it.
Charma's Breath is possibly a reference to Charmander, along with similar dungeon location names referencing Pokemon such as Marowak's Spine, Weepingbell Hall, and Kakuna Burial. In which case it could be 'char-ma', but I'd agree that within a Dunmeri language context, ch sounds at the start of a sentence are going to typically have a kh- sound, like with chimer, or the word chitin.
Deliver us from evil, Lord Bardeverine. Jumping around in this game is so stupidly fun lol, I'm glad you are enjoying that. Best travel system in any elder scrolls game, HAH! The funniest, anyway. Ah, we've all died to that a lot brother, no shame there hahaha. Loving the series bro, and it's good that you are using the magic crafting system some. Go Places is a great name lol. Improve your characters Acrobatics, it will significantly reduce your fall damage. It will give you a higher natural jump also, adding to the abilities of Go Places. Otherwise, for really high locations, I'd say craft yourself a levitate spell. You are doing very well bro, Morrowind is hard to get a hold of but it seems like you have the reigns firmly grasped. Loving the content bro, looking forward to more.
Another great video! Love your stuff. Btw I'm pretty sure Urshilaku is pronounced "Er-shee-LAH-koo". Not that it's of great import. Also, Gnisis is pronounced like "Knee-sis" or "Nih-sis" depending on who you ask. I love the terminology in this game. 😊
You can speak to the more advanced corprus beasts while invisible and they have unique dialogue. It's not necessary and you don't gain anything, it's just a fun Easter egg.
holy sith, that's literally the only piece of tes youtube poop i know and out of everything he just so happens to be referencing that one? what are the odds?
in the balmora mages guild? I think? one of the mages guilds anyhow, you can make a spell I believe that combines the jumping effect and the slow fall effect into one cast so that you don’t have to use two different spells/scrolls, it’s the Tinurs Hoptoad spell I believe, you can combine it with a slow fall spell (edit: both the balmora mages guild and the Vivec mages guild sell the spells you need to make it, just make sure also that you don’t do like 100 points of jump with 100 points of slow fall or you sort of just hang in the air for a long time lol)
hello man. I have to tell you something quite importnat about the game, unless you already heard that. Barerly anything scales with your level. There are pseudo-scaling, like on a higher level you will encounter stronger creatures, more gold from stuff, but it only goes upto lvl15. Everything else, doesnt scale with you, most creatures/npcs are fixed level, all quest rewards are fixed, most items you can find as loot are fixed, except for smuggler caverns, I am pretty sure they do scale. but outside from that, pretty much nothing scales with you. Oh yeah, and they arent called 'dust storms', these are actually blight storms. and the 6th house ash creatures are called: Ash slave, ash zombie(who is actually not a zombie), ash Ghoul(those things you call priests), ascended sleepers(the sload looking things) and ash vampires. Also dont worry about killing certain npcs down the line. Anothyer thing, there is a quest to prevent the ash zombie attacks, you will find it yourself ;)
Honestly I always thought the brothel was a mod. Like the mod where you can get pregnant and it just puts a fetus in your inventory and if you drop it, you die. But I learned it was a real thing when it showed up in Angelikatosh's stream.
I'm a big fan of levitate instead of jumping and always read The Pilgrim's Path 😉 i love this playthrough and hope you try other builds. Morrowind is not balanced at all and for me that's 50% of its charm. Ib played it at release and still play it to this day.
I've been binge watching this series and the first thing i see in last video is empty stamina AAAARRRGHHHHHH! sry for rant, veteran here (played the game on/since release) PLS understand that you MUST have full stamina for any action you do so you can use skill to it's full potential. and USE POTS man, lots of them, don't rest every minute, it breaks the immersion
also i must compliment you, it's great to see young people playing and enjoying Morrowind while also making great videos and spreading the word! also subscribed
It sounds so weird not hearing you say “The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion” 😂 I’m enjoying the Morrowind series tho, it’s a tricky game and can be quite frustrating so fair play for sticking at it. Would you consider doing some Skyrim stuff next?
😂 it still sounds weird for me too! And I appreciate it! I definitely would love to make some Skyrim videos one day! It might come sooner than later 👀 same thing with a return to Oblivion!
It feels weird hearing someone calling him 'uncle crassius' knowing how he really is. He's the guy that wrote the book 'the lusty argonian maid' and will vote for female characters as hortator for a kiss

That spear cheese strategy is truly a Morrowind moment esp when you came up with it by yourself
congrats!
Haha I appreciate it! Felt truly like the Neravarine here!
I wish spears were available in "Skyrim". 😢
I tell people they need to play Morrowind just to meet the dude who wrote the Lusty Argonian Maid (Crasius) lol
😂 when I learned that fact I was star struck by uncle lol
He also wrote a play called The three legged Guar
So glad to receive these; loved the Oblivion ones, but Morrowind is the game closest to my heart.
I’m really glad to hear it! I hope I’m doing the game justice!
Though I have not played either game, I am amazed at "Morrowind's" expansive lore.
