After 5 years of watching this and being too broke to commit, I finally bought this pedal today. Btw, half these views are from me.
And the verdict is?
That's beautiful
I've been doing the same and am on the cusp of.. 😉👍
I'll be back.
Ever hear the Rooms?
Its been 4 years, can i have a turn with it? lol
Thank you so much for putting text on the screen instead of stopping to chat. Please make more informative videos like this!
Certainly will!
Thanks for checking it out.
Yes! Totally agree. Fed up of long monologues by men with bad beards
Bought this pedal based on this review like 6 months ago, became the centerfold of my entire tone. Thanks for the creative/interesting reviews.
dude, you're very welcome.
i'm really glad to hear it's treating you well.
God, these are only pedal reviews that you want to rewatch multiple times.
...until you've watched the demos from Greg Koch for Jam Pedals....
Oh man, these are fucking adorable. Please never stop making these. It's like a cooler Wes Anderson showing off pedals that will send you to the moon.
don't look at his new uploads then

A legend is born
I ****ing love your channel. So tired of unimaginative previews that don´t have creative thought behind them. You seem to know how to get the best out of everything that you review. Thanks a lot!!
I keep coming back to this video just to listen to the "pretty things" part and I finally bought the pedal! Thank you so much
Your demos are incredible. Bought this pedal straight after watching haha.
yeeeeeeah, i hope space is being kind
this is the best demo i have ever seen. thank you
adam, thank you
Finally, a spring reverb type pedal that is being its own thing
I watch a lot of guitar pedal channels but yours is the one that speaks to me most.
The pedal choice on top of the playing is amazing. Another beautiful demo well done.
:) you get a cookie for using the word "Muchly!" I like that word very muchly. Growly cave worm is pretty nifty too. Cant wait for the next showing. Happy New Year!
a little late, but happy new year!
+Knobs huzzah!
I really wish more pedal manufacturers embraced adding stereo options to their outputs. More and more Eurorackers and Circuit Benders are incorporating guitar pedals into their setups for some real out there soundscapes! Stereo would be a nice touch to this awesome pedal.
Wicked demo. Totally trying these settings. Can't wait for more!
No shred, no chat. Your videos are the best.
The 'pretty' section sold me this pedal
These videos are great! Love them! So much more entertaining than a dude sitting down with a guitar and explaining what the pedal does. Plus you guys are picking really great pedals that do interesting things to make videos of! Would love to see you do a video for the Red Panda Particle, or the WTF Loud Button, or a Snazzy FX Mini Ark! Good stuff guys! CAn't wait to see the next video!
Best pedal demo ever!!!
Yeeeah. Thanks much!
Our second demo will be up in a couple days, many more to come.
this is like listening to a soundtrack of some great indie movie... but i also enjoy the demo!
Two pieces of art, the box and the vid!
I've never seen a more aesthetic pedal demo! Awesome channel man. Subscribed!
your review style is fantastic, love it!
WHERE HAS THIS CHANNEL BEEN ALL MY LIFE?
Awesome demo, man. I didn't even know DBA was still around. That's a killer pedal -- it's like a Grouper LP in a box. Subbed.
these are the cutest demos
Twee AF
was smiling the whole time. thank you :)
great video , I love the way how you edit. the company makes interesting pedals, but they are so expensive.
these are the best pedal demos
Fuck yeah! Finally got on of these today. Thanks for the inspiration knobs!!
Knobs is the best mix tape....er...collection of audio in video format? anyway. I've always got the sounds happening, it's quite the listening experience :) after all this time, just realized not subscribed. It's ok, i went ahead and fixed that :) Great channel love the presentation.
This is the best pedal video I have ever seen.
I learned it from you, mom
finish your brocolli
Pedal looks amazing. Amazing review format. Subscribed!
Best pedal demos on TH-cam
Honestly the best pedal demos I've seen on youtube; it'd be useful to know what your set up is with the pedals though. Is it the same amp/guitar on every video?
it is, with the exception of the first few demos.
i used a fender excelsior for everything until the warped vinyl mkii (including this). blues jr ever since. same guitar the whole time: danelectro dead on '67.
The description for the switch at the end was...PERFECT.
This is incredible.
Also; love your demos.
honestly this sounds like a hollowed wooden owl/duck right before a storm in April. This old abandoned house down the street from my grandmother's house had one when I was young I never could figure out what it was..but it made these exact sounds when the wind would start to pick up. Weird...
At 1:16 there's an owl on the screen
Great great great, thank you! Please do more demos!
Okay, will.
Promise.
Thanks for watching!
Astoundingly well done video. Nice!
I love this Channel! Very good reviews!
Great guitar playing and story telling. Thanks for the fun! I've gotta have one.
awesome demo. someone give me 200 bucks.
my nr. 1 guilty pleasure is being submerged and basking about in the consumerism art-soup of Knobs. Makes me want to whip out my MasterCard and max the limit homersimpson style. Holy Crapp I love this channel.. I have much love for that pedal show too, but this gotta my favorite go-to digital space of entertainment.
I’m usually a cheap pedals kind of guy. My $30 Klon clone sounds pretty good. This however sounds to be worth the money. It’s truly unique. This “dirty” reverb just adds something magical.
Thanks Josh.
I thought someone invented something where you can die by listening to something.
tbh that's pretty accurate for most of their pedals
This and fuzz war are going to be earning some of my money this summer.
Do it you won't regret it i picked both up last year and have shaped my sound since then in the most positive way ! Keep on rockin
Cool style! Want more:>
LOve these VidS..
Just bought this online yesterday, can't wait to try it out
Hands down one of the best Reverb pedals out there. And let's not forget A Place to Bury Strangers...one of my favorite bands.
Check out my shop on Reverb.com if you're interested in this pedal:

best pedal demo video i've seen. please make more! i'd love to see what you do with the earthquaker afterneath or any of the black arts pedals! way to kill it!
Matt, thanks much.
I too would love to get my hands on an Afterneath.
Damn. I'm only 45 seconds in, but I already decided to click subscribe. ಠ_ಠ
so... how does this compare to the Meteore? Basic reverb sound seems pretty similar
i bought this pedal because of this video. i love it. (and i like the pedal too)
Kudos for being different when it comes to gear demos. Would also love to see you demo #oldbloodnoiseendevors Brady & Seth Riffs #blackfountain #haunt #procession which is their newest pedal coming out next month released at Namm15
Hey dude, a Black Fountain demo is on the way!
Knobs This would actually be very useful. Their demos are very beautiful and cinematic... but say very little about exactly what the product does. And it doesn't help that they're using a half-dozen other $300 pedals LOL
Very nice video, subscribed! :)
At 0:35, was a Hiatus Kaiyote melody? You truly are the greatest pedal company ever
Bruce Morrison then they got inspired from a classical song... the melody is strikingly close to a debussy or a ballet tune. Perhaps Tchaikovsky?
Sounds like "The Swan" from Carnival of the Animals, Saint Saens.
Loving the broken radio ambience
realllly wanna pair this with the cooper fx generation loss, in only i had them. :) great demo guys!
a problem i had with the Meteore by Caroline Guitar Co was the fact there was a set predelay with no way to adjust it so you were just stuck playing with a beautiful lo fi reverb with an annoying predelay ALWAYS getting in the way. am i going to have that same problem here? I understand that you have to adjust your playing to how the pedal wants you to play (with this pedal that’s being demoed above) does that mean I can’t play with my own playing style and have this as an accompanied sound? or will having this pedal on determine how I’m able to play? i’ve been looking for a very usable lofi reverb for a while and there are a couple on the market but nothing seems to sound as good as the Caroline guitar company, it just has that one fatal flaw... can anyone help?
bought. worth it.
the best demo of these kind of pedals !
do you have one of the DBA delay pedal ??
ah, thanks man!
dba make a fine delay but i won't have a chance to demo one for awhile.
Seriously. Just subscribed. Badass video.
Godspeed You Black Emperor in a stomp box lol
You had me at playing a broken amp in a dark cave.... With long guitar cables. LOL. 🤟😀🤟
This video was like the first video where you cursed! It’s crazy.
Trying to decide between this, the Industrialectric RM1-N and the Caroline Meteore and its killing me!
wooowww.. literally everything i want in a reverb pedal
How do tou get such a nice dynamic distortion from this pedal? I javent be able to get it yet. Maybe is the low volumes?
1:55 is that from a song or just a jam? Where can I hear more stuff like that?
besides the pedals that are always changinG, what is your recordinG setup? what preamp(s)/ interface and daw are you usinG? feels Great.
very nice! So nice I wanna buy this box.
Cool pedal! Is the lack of twisting of the altitude/height knob an indicator that it’s no fun below 30, or am I just over-thinking things ?
Awesome demos! What about the almighty 'Strymon BigSky'?
The Strymon BigSky is really good, but i think that the BigSky and the Reverberation Machine are for completely different purposes (the death by audio one sounds dirtier)
Is that little video scene the beach in Toronto????
What is that riff at 3:15? Thanks :)
i fuckin love you
Dude... How much do you love Wes Anderson??
What kind of amp do you use? Those cleans are so nice.
ordered this bad boy one minute after watching this video
Hey knobs are you from Toronto? That film looked like the beach area 😅
At around 2:40ish
Noisey as hell.
What are those chords at 1:55?
these are all analog pedals right? that work well with tube amps?
need more backwards-skating guy!
Well now I've got a new favourite TH-cam channel, a new favourite pedal, and a lot less money in my wallet. 😅
The saturation effect sounds really cool. Have you found it in any other pedals?
This or the Caroline Météore? Opinions are welcome.
Swan drowns in a lake of reverb
By any chance, would you happen to have schematics for this?
are you by chance playing this straight into the amp or through the effects loop?
right into the ol' amp
I want to breed this pedal with the Obscura altered delay.
Bon Iver in a pedal?
hey knobs can i buy you a beer sometime?
What are the odds of you demoing the Ghost Delay pedal?
'pop' sound when pedal activated is really annoying
.48 seconds in dang..thought u was about to bust out with Saint-Saens.."The Swan"..so close.Expect to be sued by the estate therof.Thx again Batman oops I mean anonymous dude.
Great demo, sounds amazing, I really dig it. What is the signal chain? What amp/channel/settings?
P.S. Does it jent?
Is this a verb or a fuzz? Lol
