A year later and I’m still loving this….
I like seeing comments like this when I listen back to demos; shows that the gear continues to be a creative tool, and not just a trend on TH-cam. No doubt when it comes to DBA, that stuff is designed to last forever.
This encouraging because a year later I am now thinking of pulling the trigger on it

I got one of these last week and I love it so much. It's on my board with the Walrus Audio Fathom, the Earthquaker Devices Transmisser and Afterneath. Reverb is the greatest thing to ever happen to my ear holes.

Outstanding demo! I got the pedal a couple weeks ago. I have messed with it for hours and feel like I have only scratched the surface. I love the way it sounds with my fuzz pedals.
I really like this pedal a lot. Death By Audio makes some really unique stuff. It took me a while to find a few sweet spots with my Frequency Mangler, and Rooms looks like it has lots of super sweet spots and fun destruction.
Woke up at 4am and put this on while having a coffee. So calming and soothing. Thanks.

Hey what other videos have you done on reverbs? I’m on the market for one and so far you’re my go-to for watching and listening; you find the niche ones by the “off the beaten path” pedal builders…and your demos are great

Was really hoping this would be stereo. But it still sounds great!
Even though the pedals stereo, I only do demos in stereo for certain pedals. This one really shines going into my amp, and unfortunately I can only do stereo recordings direct in
collector//emitter ah that makes sense. It did sound good!
This pedal also has input clipping issues for some users when run in stereo

Yup! Since there’s separate wet and dry volume controls, you can just turn the dry all the way down

They’re VERY different. Both are reverbs with their own unique character, but they do totally different things

This is awesome. But why the hell is the right input mono?
You plug into right if you want mono, and both if you want stereo
BUT LETS DESTROY IT
The effect algorithms are wonderfully innovative, but the background hiss seems as if it would make the unit unfit for professional recording!
If The Backrooms were a pedal
It has great sounds, like a room/hall based companion for an OBNE Darkstar or Sunlight. That said, its painfully overpriced for what you get in hardware (same as any other FV-1 reverb) which means you are paying about $350 for hype and algorithm tuning. Its good but I can't justify that much on a pedal with so many dubious design choices (clunky switches, unnecessarily big, no presets despite being digital, high end roll off on dry signal, etc.). Not really a comment on your video so much as throwing some thoughts into the hype bucket.
I was thinking about buying this pedal... Not so much anymore. Not a fan of this demo. Sorry.
