you're pretty much right, I agree... it's just that right before the American Idiot tour (and during some early concerts of it), they often played every song from the record > a slight correction. oh, and as for this Jankunas guy, he did a good job; I mean, you can't judge his performance by saying GD songs are easy.
And as far as Led Zeppelin's concerned, why would you 'force' someone to listen to music they don't like in order to find out "what a real solo sounds like", what I'm trying to say is that even if the music you like is not the most challenging, you put your heart in it and that's what makes your performance great.
sounds good but try doing hammer/pulls on the 6th string- 5 open 7 open 9 open on the solo there, its easier and it sounds better, i dont know if its right, it just sounds smoother
There are guys (especially here on youtube) who play hard songs, but a lot of times they don't put any emotions into it whatsoever, which just makes them suck. Nevermind, I'm getting too philosophical.
