As someone who's played Wii Fit since I was 15, it's really neat seeing what the game looked like before it was released. The lil balance board's voice wasn't even added yet and there are some little differences in the interface compared to the final game. Like, I don't remember that graph on the balance board being there on the weight shifting section and the BMI measuring interface also looks a bit different. Also, the origin of an iconic meme phrase right here. XD

As yourself said, the only problem about it is that it accounts for people who are not fat but have muscle to be called "unhealthy" by the standard, but that is the only excuse someone would have, and they would not even care about BMI at that point. Denying the usefulness of the BMI will grant problems for people who actually have to care about them, which are overweight/underweight people who are not healthy at all and find excuses to keep these lifestyle.
Even for people who don’t actively lift it’s still often wrong. I’d have to be an emaciated twig to get below the “overweight” range. No thanks. I’d rather have some body mass (which certainly feels healthier than being a twig even if you aren’t a lifter).
