- Join us as we enjoy a second day at PortAventura World in Spain! In this vlog we start off in Ferrari Land with a ride on Red Force, the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe! Following this we check out more of the other awesome rides throughout both parks along with on ride POV's from a variety of different attractions. Along with that we also take a stroll around the beautifully themed Hotel Gold River located within the Far West themed area of the park!

Hotel gold river is great at night, also there is now a bus that picks you up outside the hotel and drops you off at the city centre and will pick you up again, the whole park is greatly themed.

Another good video, showing another collection of amazing shots of coasters, attractions and rides. Got a good selection of rides, coasters and attractions here, good mix. Complete & utter joke on park train 100% agree. Should be allowed really 100% to stay onboard and travel whole and full route round instead of keep getting off per station. Even Disneyland Paris lets you stay onboard and do full circle. Not fair or cool here and at this park. Apart from this, good park from looks of it. Hoping to visit one day, but well see when that will be. But yeah, cheers for this video, really enjoyed and look forward for next. 😀👍

went to spain for week and had 5 days here 2 in barcelona. stayed in the colorado creek, first time i ever got on the big rides, it was really great! the sound of red force gives me chills lmao. ty for the content :D

Red Force looks terrifying but epic in every way. Shambhala looks the real deal of a coaster at Port Adventurer. What a silly arrangement for the railway train to go one stop only then everyone has to get off. I think the park needs to have a rethink there. Beautiful hot weather there in Spain. Great to see Portaventura world again. We paid for fast passes when we went to Ferrari land. Expensive as a family but made the day more enjoyable, especially in August heat so I’d really recommend it if your budget allows.
Totally agree re kids feeling left out, we’ve been 4 times as a family so kids could go on rides they weren’t tall enough or brave enough to go on when they were younger. Still haven’t been on Furious Baco . . I feel another trip could be needed.

It’s almost been 3 years since I was here… we had a view of Red Force from the hotel room we stayed in!
The views of the park from some of the rooms is awesome! Really makes an on resort stay extra special!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide we were actually at a hotel which was a 5-10 minute drive away, so that was lucky we could see the coaster from the room.
Either way, I don’t doubt that the onsite hotel rooms have some extraordinary views
I would love to go there ive been obessed with Ferrari's since a teen and 31 still obessed. Could put a car wash ride in, sit in a ferrari with open top and go through a car wash, something like that

Portaventura is one of my favourite parks and I don’t like ‘mega’ coasters.. you’re right the shows are truly first class.

I went in October, and stapled myself on Shambhala, because it was my first ever ride on it and I didn’t think it was safe, but it is. I’ll know next time to give myself some wiggle room. :)

Aww Charlotte I know how you feel. We've just come back from orlando and was expecting 25 degrees ish maybe 30 max and it was about 38 to 40 degrees everyday and I was a wreck some days 🙈 it really can just get to you.

Just got back from a week in salou and enjoyed 3 days at PortAventura. Got to agree with you about Ferrari land needing another coaster, but PortAventura park itself for me is the best theme park in Europe, great theming, great rides and actually decent ops when we were there, 3 trains on shambhala and getting the trains out consistently, although maybe because of the summer holidays? It needs some more food options though.

Red Force is amazing but so short after such a long queue. I agree, the park badly needs another coaster.

Similar to yourselves, i found Ferrari land a 4 to 5 hours day. Some indoor attractions and one show plus a few big rides. Nicely themed. Plus you can pay extra to drive a ferrari f1 car computer simulated, i did it and came 2nd and averaged 159mph.
Hi! Love the videos! I am going to PortAventura next week, do you know what the wait times are like during the week? Where does the train take you to and from in the park? And what would you recommend in terms of splitting your time across PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land?
Thank you! It should be much quieter midweek for you! The train has 3 stations but for some reason they only let you go one stop, which defeats the object of it! Ferrari Land on a quiet day is a half day park, then straight back into PA Park!
When Universal buys PA, the operations hopefully will improve.

I was in portaventura on monday, 20 june while i was holidaying in salou. the queues were on another level. up to 5 hours for shambhala and dragon khan. ive been to this park many times since 2009 and i’ve never seen it so busy. it was so disappointing, we only managed to get on two rides for the whole day- i think the issue was all the spanish school kids on tour. still a great park overall though.

Did you visit the park on a weekend during this visit?
Since I am staying on site at Hotel Caribe at PortAventura, can I use the hotel guest entrance as well that was shown in the Hotel PortAventura Hotel tour video? Thanks in advance!
Thank you! This was filmed over the weekend! From Caribe you would enter the park from the main guest entrance, however I’m sure you could also walk up to Horel PortAventura if you wanted to with your room card!
Love ur vlogs on Portaventura. I’ve been lots of times but not since 2016 so I’m hoping to go in 2023 again this time with my two children who will be 3 and 4. Do u think kids of this age are catered for?

Mine are 7 and 9 and I stoped going to parks when they were babies. We started going there since the little one was 2 and they loved it from just at the entrance, there are a lot of things to do the little ones. They have more fun in Portaventura than in Disney. It’s important to take hotels that are adjacent to the park to have a good experience with children.

If you want to make the most out of Ferrari Land with a multi-park ticket, I'd strongly advise starting your day at the main park and then switching to Ferrari Land for the last 90 minutes that it's open. Crowds will usually have filtered out by then, and you can avoid the ridiculous waits for Red Force in the early morning!

It was very hot this trip! We didn’t this time It was just a short 2 day trip!
Went on red force today. Surprisingly lacks very intense G-force I was expecting, furious baco next door actually feels more intense, however red force is way smoother and you really do feel the speed of the ride.
On stampida did you notice the wee kid shushing yous. Ahaha 😂
I think he was telling his friend as he kept shouting things behind us on our train!

Cool my favourite ride is Shambhala i love the amusement park but Shambhala is my favourite rollercoaster i have rided the last time i was in december 2019 i have tested the first possition and its the best.

You might end up visiting a Universal Studios park.
The single rider line (Red Force) was very confusing for a first timer when I went recently, lined up for a while only to be confused how some people could come to the front right away, no clear marking until you arrive there that there is a single rider line, and actually getting there made me feel like I was jumping the queue.
Heck, didn't even know PortAventura did single rider until my 2nd day! Had a great 2 day trip but this park does need some fine-tuning to make it next-level and compete with the big boys, in my opinion.

It has very little atmosphere, I thought. It was amazing to ride Red Force but other than that, the park had very little to interest us.

Red Force is 4th tallest (Ka 456 ft, TTD 420 ft, S:EFK 415 ft) and 4th fastest (Rossa 149 mph, Ka 128 mph, TTD 120mph).
EDIT: Nevermind I just saw you're reasoning for why you called RF 3 tallest and fastest. Fingers crossed TTD reopens in 2023!
Top Thrill Dragster is currently standing but not operating, making this the 3rd tallest and fastest!

To avoid queueing for a long time at red force do you recommend going to FerrariLand for rope drop and doing red force first and then heading into port adventura park? Not sure how to do both Furious Baco and Red Force without being stuck in line all day for both

I still think someone should build a coaster that has the start and top hat of redforce, with a full layout like a Blitz or RMC after it.
Well finally got to the party and are at Portaventura after much delay. So Mako vs Shambhala? been on both now for me without doubt Shambhala wins. So much more air time and more intense.
Shambhala is also the better of the two of my opinion!

I'd say Ferrari charges Port Adventura for every admission to the park, so likely the reason it 's restricted to a single entry. The prices in Ferrari Land are extortionate as well
Since I want to score my 300th roller coaster this year , my gf and I decide today to go roller coaster hunting in the Netherlands and Belgium. Today there are 2 Dutch parks, 1 Belgian park and a Dutch fair on the schedule. First we go to BillyBird Park. The next stop will be DippieDoe to drive back to Belgium for a while. A brand new children's amusement park is opening today in Maaseik. We will conclude at the Sint-Servaas funfair in Maastricht, and today you'll know about my experiences in those parks, to know what to expect:
Billy Bird Park Hemelrijk:
Just after 10am we arrive at the BillyBird Park parking lot. In this park we checked off 1 roller coaster which was on my list. The park consists of a recreational lake where you can swim and kayak. Although many people clearly come here to sunbathe on the beach. We immediately head for the roller coaster that we can already spot at the back of the park. Familieachtbaan
is a special roller coaster because the ride does not start with a lift. Before we could get in we have to step up via stairs in a tower. At the top we got in and immediately descended. Surprisingly, the roller coaster even provides airtime in some places. At the end, just after the brakes, we had to get out and the cart is hoisted up.
Since this is the only roller coaster in the park, we didn't stay here too long. I took some time to take a walk in this beautiful park.
DippieDoe:
After a half hour drive, we arrive at the DippieDoe's parking lot. This small park has an indoor and outdoor section. We are of course came for the roller coasters and they are both outside.
First we took a ride on the Dolle Pier. This is a Big Apple Coaster, but unlike other Big Apples, this one has not been given a caterpillar train, but a regular train.
At the back of the park we find the other roller coaster that the park has. The roller coaster is called Tyfoon and was built by Zierer at the time. However, only 1 roller coaster of this type has been built. The roller coaster moves from one braking section to another as soon as it is at the top. The cornering is very varied and cool. The park has a modest topper on offer with Typhoon.
We decided to have a bite to eat in this park first. After taking some pictures we move on to the next park.
Beverland Maaseik:
Coincidentally, a new amusement park had opened in Belgium today. From DippieDoe it is a short 45 minute drive to Beverland Maaseik. There is not much for us to do in this indoor park for children. There is, however, a Butterfly and that makes it interesting for us of course.
When we arrived at Beverland Maaseik, we noticed that there is already enough parking space. The park is located in an old skating hall and close to several sports fields and a sports hall.
What's also nice is that we get in here for free. Only children up to the age of 15 pay entrance to the park. On the right we immediately spot the Butterfly. We decided not to lose any time and got in for a ride.
We decided to have a drink here before we drive to Maastricht. It has already been decorated very nicely here and there is more than enough to do for the children. When our drink is finished we leave for the Sint-Servaas fair.
Sint-Servaas Fair Maastricht:
Our last stop for today was the Sint-Servaas fair in Maastricht. So we entered the Netherlands again. After a ride of 45 minutes we arrive in this city. We parked the car in one of the many parking lots and walked towards the Vrijthof. At this fair we found 1 credit and that is of course a Spinning Wild Mouse, Magic Mouse. The roller coaster should even be magical if we are to believe the name. Obviously we don't notice much magic on Magic Mouse, although we did enjoy our ride. Roller coaster 279 is also in this one, so roller coaster 300 is gradually coming within reach. We took another walk along all the attractions and then headed home. This is how this intensive but above all fun day came to an end!

Yes, next year parque warner will be get , finally , another coaster....and this Halloween will have a new terror house from the new IT films, to celebrate the 20 anniversary of the park we hope permanent one all year alone

It stinks to not have Top Thrill Dragster running this year. I’ll be at Cedar Point later this month, and it’s gonna be sad seeing it dormant.
It’s such a shame to see it closed and a huge reason why I’ve not decided to return to the park this year. Let’s see what happens in 2023!
