- Join us as we visit Djurs Sommerland in Denmark for our first ever visit! In this vlog we share on ride POV's from all 8 of the roller coasters on offer at the park. This includes Piraten, Juvelen, DrageKongen and many more awesome attractions along with the new for 2022 dinosaur themed area. We also experience all of the other major rides at the park along with taking in the full experience of Djurs Sommerland for the first time!

This is the vlog I’ve wanted for 3 years. I don’t know why but for some reason I’ve always loved the look of this park and the lack of videos online in English is shocking and frustrating. So happy this videos finally here!

This was sick! I’m so thrilled that you two enjoyed this park as much as I do! And I don’t feel as alone with liking Juvelen more than Piraten anymore hehe, oh and I’m real glad that you mentioned the staff as well! I’ve never seen people be more happy at a job than the people at Djurs, so many of them are so energetic and you’d feel like you could be good friends with pretty much any of them, and if I wasn’t a six hour train ride from home to Djurs, I would be working there right now 😆
My favorite TPW vlog right next to the Heide Park trip and the previous Denmark trip, I love watching them so much! ❤️🎢

@@beanieshark05 you can push you self so much that you don't have fear of roller coasters anymore like i was afraid of juvelen for so many years but 2 years ago i made it so i did it and ever since i was trying all of it

Im from denmark and the reason i wanted to look after these vids were because i enjoyed the time at the park i had and i Think they could invest more in rollercoasters with loops

Its wild how little of an effort this park could put extra in to it and it will be in top 3 in europe. Its the perfect family park they just need to round out the thrill market.
A coaster with inversions would be perfect next!

Seeing you try all the rides made me remember when I went to Djurs Sommerland some years ago with my sister and her boyfriend (he's not a big fan of rollercoasters that he deems 'too wild' like Piraten and Dragekongen so he often stays behind and holds our bags and glasses :) - though he was able to try Juvelen, and liked it). I remember that I saw dark spots when I tried Piraten for the first time and Juvelen is amazing. My sister's boyfriend and I were defeated by the pirate ship in the viking area - we got so motion sick that we had to sit down for a while and recover and my sister chose that moment to send a short video to our family telling how much fun we were having while 2 of us were don for the count XD

Juvalen looks awesome! I think I would like that so much more than the booster bike coasters. Those are so uncomfortable
Was very funny seeing Charlotte on the water ride. 🤣🤣🤣🤣Especially the part where she gets sprayed with water unexpectedly by an elephant 🐘
41:25 in that little closed window over the sign a robot used to drop a bucket of water on to the ride, but ut sadly broke

When you was eating your fish and chips at 20:10, i could here the same soundtrack that is used at Legoland Windsor in Pirate Shores and on the Jolly Rocker ride.

6:08 I thought in the last video we decided if there's only 1 drop it's not a special ;) haha Gyroswings are totally my favorite too. You get insane floater airtime on them. Reminds me of B&M floater. And you really get a feeling of... the force of the pendulum. The swing reminds me of doing a backflip off of swings as a kid at the park. Looks like only thing park really needs is a looping coaster. Maybe a launched looper.

Imagine being Chessington and ordering the world's smallest and shortest BaM instead of a world class family coaster like Juvelen
A ride like Juvelen would of been perfect for Chessington and easily fit on the space!

That bouncy bubble reminded me of the Water Bubbles you get at Waterparks. Mind, I've only seen one other than Orlando WetnWild had one but now closed. The other one is in Rhodes, Faliraki Waterpark. They are great fun.

If Alton Towers do build a Mack water coaster it needs to be called The Flume 2 Electric Flumaloo
They have a loose definition of a family coaster ... the second launch on the quad bike coaster looked as intense as any thrill coaster! First class theming and well filmed Shawn and Charlotte! A little hint for Charlotte ... tuck into Shawn's back to let Shawn take all the water! Sorry Shawn! LOL!

Excellent blog and great theme park in Denmark, for newbies to country, is it pretty easy to get to the park by public transport or do you ideally need a hire / own car ?

I was in djurs sommerland Today :D It was extremely fun as it is normalliy but DANMM THE QUEUES IS LONG IT was Magic Halloween so 2 haunted houses

also the juwel is denmark longest roller coaster 1KM long

Great vlog I'm honestly surprised you think the theming is as good as it is. But yeah The park kinda used to have a dark ride. It was located right where Dinosaurland is now and was part of the parks old Afrikaland section. It was called "Chico and the poachers Jungle Safari" and was a boat ride similar to Jungle cruise where you went together with the monkey Chico to free his friends from Poachers in the jungle. The area also used to feature an obstacle course in the area around the boat ride. The King Kong animatronic seems to be reused from that boat ride.
And yeah the park has no rides that go upside down but thats because the family owners who own the park themselves don't like going upside down. And though their leadership is definitely great, you sometimes wish they would go that extra step and just once get a coaster than goes upside down like 2 or 3 times.

I loved watching this vlogs with loads of epic soakers lol 🤩 as for Charlotte she deserves alot of recognition for her bravery going on these water rapids including your favourite spinning swinging flat ride Shawn... I’m not quite sure how to pronounce IT Kiro swing ride, these parks are amazing relaxing with the ambiance that’s full of positivity heavy theming throughout i must admit those random animatronic unexpected soakers are quite funny but refreshing on those very hot hümnid days, some of the rides theming layout is a cool combination of Chessington, Great Yarmouth, quad bike rollercoaster similar to Hagrid’s ride, these various heavy theming are impressive enhancing the park

This was truly amazing. This year I'm off to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and I might try Revolution for the first time as I haven't tried any inversion coaster. If I can do Revolution I should be able to do Infusion, Icon and future inverted rides from different theme parks.

Once you've done your first inversion, you won't know why you were so worried as they are really not bad. An inversion is just like a big hill and a little drop, you'll just have the feeling of being pinned to your seat in most of them. Revolution isn't bad, but if heights are a struggle it can feel a little awkward climbing the steps up as it's all outside on quite rickety pathways.
My favourite part is the soundtracks lol
