PLEASE DON’T FALL FOR THE SCAMMER IN THE COMMENT SECTION USING OUR LOGO AND OFFERING YOU GIFTS AND PACKAGES via WhatsApp. Please report and block! 💙🙏🏻🤦♀️ Unless the handle says @nautistyles it’s not us. Sorry it took me a while to put this together, I know it looks like a simple video, but it was very hard to decide what to keep and what to cut! lol Hope you found it interesting. Next Episode will be back at the shipyard👌🏻💙😝 V
I hope you guys do a video on what was on your "list" :) (edit: 15:45 oh, not that list... the list of custom things you wanted to add to the boat) PS: If I ever win the lotto or am some rich persons long lost nephew or something I hope you let me borrow that list. :p haha
This is definitely just an opinion, but keep all of it imo. It's a behind the scenes type video and plus pretty much all the content you generate is interesting and the more of it I can get the better
I like this format - the strategic thinking behind the ship - even better than the chit-chat at the shipyard because there is so much more thought over weighed information in this episode. Good job- brilliant team 👏
You guys crack me up as a couple. She is so hyper, and high energy. He is so laid back. Plus they focus on completely different aspects of the boats. I really enjoy the two of you.
I've never wondered why you chose the 75. I've always thought, "they know what they want." The outtakes always make me smile. Can't wait to see her all finished and delivered.
Personally ? I LOVE the outtakes . Everybody knows that real life isn't all polished ,and perfect presentation , but normal people misspeak , foul up , and sometimes make a goofball of themselves . The packaged presentation is what you show to strangers . The REAL side of life is what you show to family . I enjoy being part of family :)
Though my life living on the water was short lived, I cannot express how happy I am that you guys have Chosen Bering. From the first video I saw of a Bering yacht, I was astounded with the over-engineering. How wonderful you must feel knowing every aspect of your home was designed to exceed expectations. Bravo!
Being an owner/operator, you had to put your own comfort for living in your own home first. I totally get it. It would make no sense to own a yacht to charter if you're not comfortable living on it, unless it's not your primary home. I think you both were smart in your choice. I'm so excited for you. I think you are going to have awesome adventures and I hope you continue to include us and take us with you.
So much information and the decision making process that without the outtakes we might forget your actually human. Alexis might be another breed though.
I knew immediately why you chose the 75, it’s the same thing that I would have done: Interior volume, which it has now been explained in your video is directly related to gross tonnage. Displacement is pretty self explanatory. The fly bridge accommodations is brilliant, that never crossed my mind. And yes! Keep doing the outtakes!
Out Takes are part of your presentation. Seeing the extra effort you two put into these informative videos only adds to the professionalism shown in the finished product/video. Thanks for your efforts they are greatly appreciated. Have fun !
I love the channel and you guys! At 76 I have been out of the Marine environment for 22 years. Watching your channel has brought back my youth and memories of those bygone Yachting Years. I was a Rag-Bagger Sailing Yacht Sunrise Choey Lee Cl48. I have always loved Trawlers but could not afford them, and remember the Air is Free LOL. I am into the current technology so your channel brings me up to date, I was, and am a hands-on Owner, so I love when you open every door and drawer, showing the anchor chain locker and engine room, every nook and cranny is of interest to me!!! The love aboard walks throughs have rekindled my desire to Buy a used 45 to 70 Yacht. I live in Yuma, AZ my New/Used Yacht would be in Seattle -West coast Canada, Yuma is to Hot (Hell's Kitchen). I can relate to many of your adventures as i Circumnavigated the World, both canals, up the Red Sea and turn left into Ashkelon Harbor, on to Cypress and then Turkey. I crossed my path in Antigua, sold the Boat in Ft Lauderdale and moved to Arizona. Your channel has returned me to being an Arm Chair Sailor wanting Stink Pot. I do have respect for Motor Yachts. Please keep making films, wishing you the best in all your adventures. Richard H Mares, and my best Buddy Marley Dog! P.S. Don't change a thing you both have the Magic touch.
Love this. More videos on how and why etc. It's informative on the whole process of purchasing and building. It's interesting and FABULOUS. It's also inspiring on reaching for and attaining your dreams. I'm completely inspired. You are both awesome!! I am so happy to see you both succeeding!!!
This was really interesting, because at first glance so many of the Bering options look similar (so many 70-85). I thought you'd go for the 77 myself, but looking at the layout and your intended useage the 75 completely makes sense. Really looking forward to the development / build !
Outtakes on NautiGuys? Absolutely yes!!! I always look forward to the end of your videos for the outtakes. Congratulations on your boat it looks magnificent!
You've probably thought about this already, but I was thinking -- since your master will be on top of the ship, wouldn't it be nice to have the roof be a window to the sky? Then you can look up at the night sky and watch the stars while lying in bed. I bet the night sky is pitch black and not light-polluted at sea and near desolate islands, so you can see lots of stars very clearly and also the Orion-Cygnus arm in the Milky Way, stretching across the entire night sky. What a sight that'd be! 🌃
Your reasoning for picking the 75 makes perfect sense to me. I also agree the 75 & 80 look way better than the stodgy traditional trawler yacht look of Bering's other models even though all Bering yachts are great. If I was in your shoes I would have picked either the 75 or 80.
Very cool to see that you will give numbers and FACTS, versus "ideas", "opinions", "definitions" totally invented, "I think that" and other "advices" given by people that have absolutely no idea of what they are talking about. This is the big disease of the "social" medias : people are not interested by FACTS anymore. they prefer INVENT their own universe and think they "know more" than people who know what they are talking about.
I'd love to hear more about how you plan to separate your living space from your charter space. How do you let your charters have private/quiet time, and how do you find a place to get away with charters on board? As for out-takes? I'd prefer you be more candid throughout the videos on this channel. This is you, not some brand, or advertisement.
This is going to be so interesting and exciting to watch listen and learn how you are going to build and design your beautiful yacht! It would not be a Victoria and Rico video without the out takes! So it is a yes for out takes!
Your choice is the right choice. No regrets. I’m not a boating type except occasional cruise-(sea sick) but your journey has been very interesting. Living through others dream life!
First and foremost this build is boat and Your business. I for one look forward to seeing the progress, the ups and downs of this build. I have 0 (zero) doubt that Bering is going to build you phenomenal boat. this type of build for many of us would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. As for the out takes, they are so fun to watch.
Yes, I knew it the moment you first mentioned doing charters. The 75 has all the classic Bering qualities with a design leaning more towards luxury than exploration to appeal to the charter crowd. Well and bravely chosen. What a commitment!
My favorite NAUTI COUPLE-NOW! An awesome video with real-world info that makes sense to the novice or expert. Is there a price point$$$$ that you are able to share? By that, I mean, is it $2+, $3+, etc? What is a range of charter prices; nothing exact, but something based on where and when? So much good info here that I had to stop and start the video several times to go back and forth to Bering's site. Look forward to more updates as your choices are built into the hull.
Hiya Vico, I give in strait away, keep Rico's outtakes... I loved learning the why, also the difference between the terms, thank you for that, and another wonderful video. Concidering that English is your second, or is it more, language you both do such a fantastic job ob bringing this all to us. I love how you share so much now, sorry V, your's is the best yacht channel on the net, anywhere!!! Stay safe, Steve xx
That was so informative, thank you. You two have done a tremendous amount to promote the industry and to educate neophytes like myself. And yes to the out takes.
The outtakes PROVE you guys are old enough for a trawler! 🤣🤣🤣 The jetski annoyance is real y'all! hahahaha The 75 looks perfect and with the added volume, it sounds like you made the correct decision, not that you needed my approval though. 😉 My perfect trawler would be a 2 cabin layout, each cabin with king size beds and each with 2 ½ person showers. A comfortable galley with a full size refrigerator and freezer and enough solar/lithium house bank so it didn't require running the genset much while on the hook.
The out takes are so good, it helps make people connect to you and your channel. They make it more real and believable and I look forward to each and every youtube that you come out with. And I like this one especially, it shows how much thought and research goes into building a boat and going about it in the correct way. Thanks for your information, it is truly educational and so valuable.
Of course we want outtakes here too! My take on styling - trawlers might not be as "sexy" as some slicker new boats, but over time the trawler styles seems to become classics, while the fancy super-yachts look really dated. You made the correct choice.
I might get the specific terms wrong, but I imagine doing that would mess with the boats weight distribution, or center of gravity or something along those lines. Which is probably why Alexi wasn’t thrilled with that idea.
Thank you for posting this! Though I wondered how you were planning the floor plan, I never thought of the way that you are doing it. Awesome choice for you! And yes please with the "out takes" love them and how much fun you have!
You have seen so many boat types and models, I am sure that you choose the perfect one to fullfill your needs. It is a great boat and I am so happy for you. ***** Heeeeee Haaaaa!, Yes for the outtakes, its funny, it shows the human side of working on broadcasting. You are donig a great job together. It shows quality and dedicated work, It shows also how a great couple you are. Nothing is perfect in this world, but seeing you together prouves that it's possible to live common dreams between love and work. Watching you provides me happyness. Keep it that way folks.
Soooo happy for you guys. Big fan from the philippines. Q1: How about your Tenders? Q2: Cost of the total build B75? Q3: Color reveal of your new Ship? 100% we love the outakes. Stay safe - Cheers
You have made a very carefully considered choice, don't let anyone talk you down. i think it is a wonderful choice but more importantly you know your choice is correct for you. so happy for you both.
Hello from Wisconsin U.S. She is beautiful!!! The boats not bad either! 😉😉 seriously, the ship is beautiful. I’m so happy for you guys! You must be so excited to be moving into your dream ship/home. What a wonderful experience. Just can’t say how exciting and happy this makes us as viewers as well.
Absolutely keep the outtakes!!! Especially if they have Alexei in them because it’s usually inspired by you all breaking each other’s stones and everyone ends up laughing, lol. Great stuff. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
I like your reasoning for your choice of model. I do like the style of the 75, I did not expect to! I am 72 and still find the explorer type of boat to be ugly to me until I saw your 75. Good choice and I hope your charter biz blooms into success.
I’m so excited for you two! I want to be on one of your charters some day. I agree that you were wise to understand your space needs and privacy and didn’t compromise that. The 75 seems perfect for your vision and I can’t wait to watch the process unfold. I’m in love with the Bering brand and Alexie and his team are going to do you proud (as we say in Texas). Blessings to you. Yes-out takes. And I didn’t hear you say storage one time. What??
This video really does help explain the 75 choice. Makes so much sense. Thanks for the update and explanation. P. S. Keep the outtakes! I love them and they are the extra sweet treats after your tours and videos!
*Now* I get how you went from a boat I could (sort of!) think of buying/living on to a giant expensive boat, lol! Looks very modern and fancy! Not 100% my taste but very impressive! I’ll be watching to see how it goes!
Not only should this have answered a lot of questions, but I’m sure you have educated a lot of folks on how important PLANNING a decision of this magnitude as opposed to making a purely emotional jump into a pivotal life changing acquisition. The 75 to me looks fantastic and being able to change the sky lounge to your personal deck delivers exactly what you need for quality of life living aboard and doing charters. For me, I won’t be living aboard so the layout of the 77 with that galley directly connected to the helm space and essentially a core element to the whole living space. I also like the traditional explorer look and substantial storage space that is extremely well positioned around the vessel. Great info and smart planning guys!! 👍🏻😎👍🏻
If my husband and I want to charter with you, how would we go about doing this? We are in our 40s. Love your show and would love to take 10-15 days of relaxing and learning from you.
@@davenz000Out Takes of your Charter? Ummm no, not for me. Don't need videos on the internet of me slipping down a ladder at sea, or pg my highly motion-sickness-prone wife feeding her breakfast to the fishes.....
Look forward to the build. Is the market for charters lacking the availability of the boat size your building? Bloopers are always fun to watch. Thanks
Thanks for the info and update. You 2 are as informative as you are entertaining. I'm definitely looking forward to following along this journey and seeing everything that you feel like sharing. Stay safe 💚
I highly appreciate this format/style of video and ask you for producing another video dealing in the same manners weighing the pro's and con's of the chosen propulsion and fix installed equipment on board! Btw. 👍for your courage in starting this great project! All the best to you!
This is going to be your boat to show in detail. That means ENGINE ROOM details !!!!! You MUST show every nut and bolt detail for us mechanical geeks. Then Rico can try to tell me why it should have but will not have controllable pitch propellers.
Great video great information explaining the tonnage was a long winded part but it was OK guys do a great job keep up the good work and can’t wait to see what you show us next
Custom yachts are like custom homes.... no one's taste is the same. Having the ability to build exactly what you want, built to fit your business, lifestyle, and future (within reason)is awesome. Looking forward to seeing what systems, brands, and additional features you're incorporating from your NBB list!
Yes to the outtakes! Great video again. Love the easygoing accessible style because you guys combine it with such great information. It's refreshing to not have these highly "produced" videos that we get so many of these days, if that makes any sense. Very excited about the project, like everyone here!
Really like this episode because it really shows both your educational knowledge and practical skills in your Business and your life style. You definitely have two totally different usage for this boat and you did a great job at looking at both usage separately and then seeing how you can do both into one design. Living and working in one space and keeping them separate and at the same time sharing parts of the space is the real trick. I think you did a great job at weighing both options separately and then putting the two options together and seeing how the third option of putting the two separate options together and having all three work together over a lengthy period. Hell it was hard just trying to write down what you were trying to do. So good job and fun to watch

Totally agree that the 75 makes more sense especially with your changes. Are you including a dumb waiter between levels?
I spent 5 years decking on a Mississippi River tug boat so I like the idea generous crew quarters.
Outtakes on NautiGuys? Absolutely yes!!! I always look forward to the end of your videos for the outtakes. Congratulations on your boat it looks magnificent!

Isn't the lazarette a storage locker,? They did specify that
A big YES on the out takes!!! Great choice on the 75. It is amazing how much interior volume you will have for storage😁
This video really does help explain the 75 choice. Makes so much sense. Thanks for the update and explanation. P. S. Keep the outtakes! I love them and they are the extra sweet treats after your tours and videos!
Plenty of great marinas down here in Australia for your shakedown cruise! You guys are very funny. The outtakes personalise the videos. Nice work.
I love your out takes !! Keep them coming !! So excited for your new adventure!! Can't wait to see your new boat
Thank you! Will do!
*Now* I get how you went from a boat I could (sort of!) think of buying/living on to a giant expensive boat, lol! Looks very modern and fancy! Not 100% my taste but very impressive! I’ll be watching to see how it goes!
The 75 is in my opinion one of the best yachts on the water. One question I have is will it be ice class and why did you make the decision either way?
So pumped to watch you guys get your Bering congrats
I like the out-takes! What a great ship! Looking forward to watching it get built.
Yes of course we want outtakes! Thanks for this video. Great discussion.
You two are simply the best!! I love how you shared your decision making process with us. You make the most fantastic, informative, and fun videos!!!
Yes but only if we get to see the out takes.
Agreed would be great to take a charter with them
We are also interested in a charter - is it out of Miami?
Same.
@@davenz000Out Takes of your Charter?
Ummm no, not for me. Don't need videos on the internet of me slipping down a ladder at sea, or pg my highly motion-sickness-prone wife feeding her breakfast to the fishes.....
Great vid!! Would love to see the layout of your semi-custom 75 on the next vid!!
I can't wait to see you guys and your Bering on the water!)) And thanks for all the explanations.🙏🏻
Stay safe 💚
Absolutely, please keep the outtakes.
Excellent explanation I was also wondering about the 75 vs 77. Cheers fun channel can't wait to see the finished product.
The out takes are cool it give us a glimpse of your real selves
Hell yes, keep the outtakes. I'm so happy for you guys it's going to be a wild ride, so glad you're willing to take all of us along with you. 👍👍
🙏🏻💙
Yes. Definitely outtakes.
Then Rico can try to tell me why it should have but will not have controllable pitch propellers.
i can't wait to see the boat once it is all done. sounds like it will be really cool
Your out takes are always worth a watch.
Great video great information explaining the tonnage was a long winded part but it was OK guys do a great job keep up the good work and can’t wait to see what you show us next
This boat is too cool. Great choice. Can't wait to see the next update.
Custom yachts are like custom homes.... no one's taste is the same. Having the ability to build exactly what you want, built to fit your business, lifestyle, and future (within reason)is awesome. Looking forward to seeing what systems, brands, and additional features you're incorporating from your NBB list!
This is you two. For your plans with the boat, perfect.
🙌🙌🙌
Can't wait. It's going to be amazing. So happy for you guys.
