The Best MILEAGE Cars in Diesel is based on the ratio between WEIGHT: POWER: TORQUE., Example, a car with 100bhp and 25kgm torque and with a weight of 1100kgs, Definitely 20kmpl in any sort of Driving.
Same way, in ELECTRIC CARS, it comes as WEIGHT: BATTERY "kWh": TORQUE, really play a role. In Nexon the weight is 1400kgs and 30kWh so definitely a 200kms range comes out, in Hyundai Kona 1532kg and 39kWh, so 270+kms definitely, in MG ZS, 1512kgs with 44kWh , so definitely 300kms easily will come up.
Now the TATA TIGOR EV, Coming soon, is 1200kgs with 26kWh definitely 250kms easily will reach. Do the Ratio Analysis, it comes out good number. I Promise... 👍
AS THE TIRE SIZES SMALL 175 THE TIRE ROLLING RESISTANCE IS LOWER WITH THE ROAD. THE CAR WILL BE ABLE TO GET MORE MILEAGE. AS OF NEXON IT IS 205 TYRES

Dear Vivek, what I genuinely feel, it's good time for tata to bring a thoroughly updated Nano, both design wise, feature wise and of course safety wise too, with an electric heart. That will be the ultimate budget city car. Since it's an EV, old NVH are no more. Most important thing, don't call it Nano.

Please maintain the audio gain throughout the video. At times, the volume dips and dialogues becomes inaudible. If i increase the volume, there comes the sound blasting Cred or Zomato Ad.

Vivek & JD, ഒരു doubt.. നമ്മൾ ev യുടെ running cost electricity price Vs diesel or petrol ആണ് compare ചെയ്യുന്നത്. Service cost EV ക്കു negligible എന്നും പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. പക്ഷേ നമ്മൾ 5-8 വർഷം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ 1 lakh km കഴിയുമ്പോൾ battery replacement cost ആരും compare ചെയ്യുന്നതായി കാണുന്നില്ല.. 15 lakh vehicle ന് battery cost ഒരു 5 lakh ഒക്കെ വരില്ലേ? അത് വരുമ്പോൾ diesel cost മായി almost equal ആവില്ലേ? You know better ... So do share your thoughts plz...
Note: 1 ലക്ഷം km ഓടിയ ഒരു സബ് 4m ഡീസൽ സെഡാൻ ശരാശരി 19 milage തന്നാൽ, 1 ലിറ്റർ ഡീസൽ average 90rs ആണെങ്കിലും ഡീസൽ കോസ്റ്റ് 475000 രൂപ വരും എന്ന് കണക്കാക്കാം. അപ്പൊൾ that is comparable with the battery replacement cost ( correct me if I am wrong) so what we are actually saving is the service cost and of course our nature from loads of co, co2 etc...

Now it's 4-5 lakhs.
And guess wat after 5 years the whole battery will coat only 1-2 lakhs which is very very cheap.

Great review guys. Forget scrappage, With bs 6 diesel and ethanol blended petrol issues like hydrolocking, new car buyers should seriously look at EVs as an alternative.
Tigor petrol owner. Had faced tough time justifying my choice to others. For me its the best I could find to be my Uno's companion.
Tigor is best in stability, drivability , safety, comfort and the most vfm in its segment. But nobody gonna Believe it until they do a test drive.
I'm pretty sure the pricing of 11.99 lakhs from Tata is them monetizing their monopoly in budget EV segment. Hopefully this could also generate them enough revenue to ramp up their further EV R&D process. Any competition from another manufacturer in this segment would bring down the price below 10L easily considering all the reused part designs.
I don't mind Tata monetizing some from their monopoly. Far, far better than the gobarment's way of monetizing by selling national assets!!!

In india they are making electricity from thermal plants which use diesel, coal as fuel etc rather using renewable energy. Then energy efficient options is to use petrol vehicle as well as economical.
Only one option remain put a solar panel in car shed and charge ev
One have done a month use Tata Nexon review he drives about 4000 kms per month his electric bill was 9000 rs

Gentlemen, great job. I've a query if you don't mind. According to news reports, India is going to move to flex fuel in the near future. I believe the Ethanol percentage in the fuel mix will increase to 20 or more. What are the implications for current car engines running on fuel mix with a lower ratio? For instance, will an ecosport automatic be able to perform equally well with flex fuel containing high ratio of Ethanol... or will the mix degrade performance? Would like your advice on the matter cz I'm poised to buy a petrol automatic sooner than later. I'm apprehensive that flex fuel , in a couple of years, will make my car unusable. Thanks in advance.
