    Recall is a good approach: at least അവർ പ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു കസ്റ്റമർടെ തലയിൽ ആക്കാതെ തിരിച്ചു വിളിച്ചു ചെയ്തു റെഡി ആക്കി തരുന്നു.
    ചെറിയ അസൗകര്യം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും അതൊരു വളരെ നല്ല aproch ആണ്.

      Tata was the first car manufacturer in India to install a crash testing facility for their cars in India in 1998.

      Valya publicity Tataum koduthilla....pls do a google search, I just came to know that the indicas and indigos were properly crash tested products from TATA.

      Even my Altroz have some ratling sound from front side, and they cant find cause of that , even after giving my car for 3 days. Whats a "local" vocal?

    I briefly worked with Maruti Suzuki at kochi and I remember that a full batch of new Baleno's were recalled to replace a host of things like full suspension, steering column, rear axle, airbag module, headlamps, tail lamps, etc. It's like almost half of the car was replaced. But the big thing is, Maruti proactively replaced each and every defective part without causing any discomfort to the owners. But we can't expect the same effort from other brands.

      @@aravindar522 in 2018. Headlamps and tail lamps were not a major recall like the suspension and steering. Some customers with top end projector headlamp mdl, complained about headlamp & taillamp lens fogging. Maruti readily replaced everything without much questioning. And sorry, my mistake, the airbag module recall was actually for the new Swift and Dzire.

    Most of the new age auto journalists are definitely influencing Indian car buyers in such a way that common people are now attracted towards the latest gimmicks the car makers provide rather than the ride comfort, built quality, dynamics etc... I mean having a sunroof over curtain airbags is plain bullshit. An auto review should start with how the car drives and then show its features and that's not the case happening. I'm really happy that talking cars are spreading awareness among buyers.

      No wonder, to upload in TH-cam, no one needs proper knowledge about cars, anyone can upload/comment whatever they want. People influenced by their words and talks shit in social media.
      Now everyone has smartphone, even school/college kids are giving opinion about cars. If you have DSLR camera, mic, good presentation skill then you can become an automobile journalist. Done!

    If we have closely watched the Indian automobile scene, we can easily conclude that Tata's only USP is their NCAP rating. As a matter of fact, they couldn't perform well either in reliability or the after sales support and hence they started to focus on the safety aspect. Nice to see someone focussing on the issues that TATA is trying to cover up with the safest car facade.

      It is wrong to downplay the NCAP Ratings TATA has gone and acquired. This is not something that other companies CANNOT acquire, isn't it!
      On the other hand, Maruti has stated that they will not send their vehicles for NCAP Testing: their bestselling cars have achieved 2 and 3 Stars only! This is no way to make cars either!!
      BS6 turns out to be one big catalyst for the mess we are in today: just like DeMo was announced without thinking it through, GST was implemented in a hare-brained manner, so too has the BS6 announcement been.
      Again, although EVs are the future, high fuel prices NOW isn't the way to ensure EV Infrastructure is ready, before EVs become mainstream!

    എന്റെ nexon diesel amt 3 തവണ വഴിയിലായി.🙂ഒരു 6000-7000 കിലോമീറ്റേഴ്സിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ വന്നപ്പോൾ എനിക്കു ഇവരുടെ സെർവിസിൽ ഉള്ള വിശ്വസം പോയി. ഇടയ്ക്കിടയ്ക്കു limp മോഡിലേക് പോവുന്നത് വലിയ ദുരിതമാണ്.അന്നു DPF ഇഷ്യൂ ആയിരുന്നു.Common problem of tata diesels now. ഇപ്പോൾ ആ യൂണിറ്റ് മാറി. ഫൈനലി ഞാൻ വണ്ടി അവര്ക് 15 ഡേയ്സ് കൊടുത്തു അവരുടെ Tigorമായി നടന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ ആ കുഴപ്പമില്ല. പക്ഷേ Last Week കാലടി പാലം ബ്ലോക്കിൽ പെട്ടപ്പോൾ Transmission Failure എന്തോ കാണിച്ചു .😕പിന്നെ അതങ്ങു ഓഫ് ആയി ...ഇതു സ്ഥിരമാവുമോ. അധികം പരിപാടികളില്ലാത്ത പഴയ സ്വിഫ്റ്റ് ഡീസൽ അടിപൊളിയായിരുന്നു😃

    6:30, "vandi odich kazhina fast charge aakila, 10 o 15 mino wait cheyanam". I've mailed to tata customercare 34times within one month. Still they're diagnosing the issue, haven't found any solution. This issue has been woth my vehicle within one week of delivery.
    Now its been one month after vehicle delivery and I've been to the service centre 5times for my nexon EV.

    I am owning a Kushaq and is my second car .I feel very much impressed by the performance of this vehicle and there is no issues for me .Few are facing issues which is common in most of the cars.But when you concluded like this on Kushaq I feel little bit awful

    My Nano AMT also faced the same issue and actuator motor had to be replaced spending around 8000 rupees.
    I haven't seen any other people being so true to reveal both pros and cons of vehicles like this. After watching each and every episode, I getting more and more attached to you both. Really wish if you were my close friends or even brothers. I say this true to my heart 💖

      Replaced the AMT actuator recently in our Nano also. Part cost was approx Rs.5300.

    The switching to BS6 turned out to be a disaster in automotive industry, both in passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles. Lot of excellent models got phased out and much demanded engines sung their swan song. Many of the aspirational diesel engines from many companies were stopped. I think it was too early for India to switch to Euro-6 emission norms. Being a Tata Bolt user for 6 years, many asked me why don't you update to a Nexon Petrol or an EV. But I am not ready to do the same because BS4 cars have comparatively less headache, and we're the best interim products regarding tech, features and reliability with comparatively less complicated electronics. Due to high cost of development in BS6 vehicles, the prices too went high, accompanied by chip shortage, which all contributed to feature deleting in many Tata cars as well which makes me feel that BOLT is more suitable to me.
    Missing my dream HEXA and the otjer aspirational fuel efficient diesels that got buried in BS6 wave.

    Every technology got its learning phase. So is the EV. D2N issue definitely seems to be a software glitch. This should be rectified with the a proper firmware update. Same with battery not charging on high temperature. BMS need to handle this. Motor falling down is a serious issue and they might have under estimated the Indian roads. Nice to know that Tata has acknowledged the issue and come up with a temp fix. Hope they will fix this on next iteration or new batch.
    Kushaq another promising car which is facing lots of glitches. Sokda gone for 90% localization which is not the usual Skoda way. Another learning curve for them. Yes, a new cars and new technologies are lots of money burning entities for Car manufacturers.
    One way we should applause the manufactures who dares to bring new stuffs to Indian market. Kudos to Talking cars for bringing this to limelight. Louder the voice, faster the resolution.

    As usual folks great video, Indian brands have been notorious for testing products on new customers,
    Tata is
    worst of the lot Indica had so many issues engine failures and what not .As a thumb rule better to buy Indian brands after 8-10 months of release.cars developed with external components get screwed due to Indian fuels lost a Santro @18k to engine failure due to this.

    Manufacturers covering up defects is the worst thing they could do to customers. A car still costs an year's salary or much more for most people. Consumer courts are not something everyone has the resolve to go through. Spread of information like what is shared in this video by you two is the only thing that save people from buying moneypits.     Nice discussion. We own a Thar mStallion, because of turbo charged petrol engine. Engine is getting heated very fast, we can prepare an omlet in bonnet. Another issue is, sometimes tyre pressure will give false warning, fuel indicator also give false reading.

    I still remember the days when the first gen hyundai i20/getz had issues with electronic power steering and suddenly in a highway at speeds you dont have control to turn your car. Like you guys were pointing out, ever since mech parts were replaced with electronics, there went off the reliability

      Naturally aspirated engins(NA) are comparatively stable designs then turbocharged one's, especially in new Bs6 petrol models.. if we are going to compare tr of i10 nios to tr of mini Cooper, it will be difficult... because they have different cooling mechanisms and thermal material standards.
      So my point.. if you are going for cheaper tr ( like nios, kiger, nexon) keep in mind some basic informations.
      1. Never exite tr for long periods(will create more load and then thermal stress).
      2. Do oil changes regularly, tr will be producing more thermal loads.
      3. Use synthetic oils only.
      Moreover, being an enthusiastic driver will be achieved by knowing your engins.

      Tata was the first car manufacturer in India to install a crash testing facility for their cars in India in 1998. You may pls do a google search if you feel doubtful about this fact.

    Had a Skoda Yeti. Exceptional build quality. Was a huge hassle with after sales service with minor fender bender situations. Parts order had better chance of delivery if ordered directly from Europe. Kushaq owners will have a hard time depending on their home location. FYI: Skoda India and Skoda CEO were incommunicado not response what so ever when contacted over email regarding service issues.

    This problem happens when a brand converts a ic engine vehicle to electirc vehicle.nexon is not designed to be a ev from scratch. And indian brands like tata and mahindra never tests a product fully and make it trouble free.take any product from tata and mahindra and its first batch will be like this. Even bajaj its same .
