Everything was so normal then March came. Eric really has a lot going on
Technically we should have already been prepared by the end January. But hardly anyone gives a sht in the US about anyting that goes on globally. Otherwise, more would have known about it have been spreading since October through December, Which, December was when it first came into the US. Wasn't widespread enough to be hinted at a possibility. Then March rolled around and Dr.Trump mocked everyone and told everyone not to do sht. lol And now, we're still paying for it due to the idiocracy happening against Science and the medical community.
Lol I know this is a month old comment but... look where we are now. People are complacent with vaccines, cases are rising, 3 new strains, 1 of which isn't affected by any of the current vaccines. And we have states lifting mandates and rolling back restrictions or removing them completely. This state is going to continue to be a mess much longer than most 2nd and 1st world countries.
Unless the people were smart enough to just continue following guidelines. Which are super necessary to make these sort of vaccines actually work.

My middle school was so broke that we couldn't usually turn on the lights, and so violent that we had our own squad car assigned to us that constantly patrolled the perimeter. Fortunately my elementary and high schools were much better...
As a kid I lived in genuine poverty, and when I was in college, I took on responsibilities at home.
Also, while I was in college, there was someone I knew...He had three tween and teenaged kids, happy marriage, stable career and had been a quiet, occasional coke user for his whole adult life.
He was one of those people who liked it but never got addicted and would just use it occasionally on a weekend when his kids were sleeping out.
And he dropped dead of a major heart attack while cooking dinner for everybody one night. His wife was working a late shift, so his kids called 911 and followed directions trying to revive him but he had died almost instantly. Was such a lovely guy,and wasn't even fifty!! 💔
Coke use is absolutely awful for your cardiovascular system, even if used only periodically. So, no thank you on that one.
My whole life up to 22 convinced me that I did *not* need recreational drugs in my life.
I was not "a very different kind of 25 year old" because I grew up a naive girl in braids without a care in the world.
I spent my early twenties finishing up college while working and handling the fallout of a step relative having a violent psychotic break, caring for my Mom when she began having a series of health emergencies, and covering for her in taking care of my (much) younger sibling. There were days, when I got my sibling up, fed them breakfast, checked homework, put them on the bus, commuted to campus for my classes, then worked a part time work shift, and then came home to make dinner or go to a parent teacher conference.
For about ten reasons that cast absolutely no shade on Leslie Jones , I was just a very different 25 year old living a different life and making different choices.
